    I actually just tried to draw that exact same image of Rarity, I used the same reference photo, And let me tell you yours looks SOOO much better than mine, very very good. Not going to lie I don't see anything wrong with it, a few unclosed lines in her mane but damn good. Very high "show quality" drawing.

    I have played many of the Zelda games and I love them. I know Pokemon, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and they aren't really high fantasy, more urban fantasy, but thanks!

    Yes very much so. High fantasy is a fantasy set in a non real world with no connection to ours. There maybe cultural similarities but no historical connection. High fantasy is also defined by its medieval magical setting, very few, if any machines or devices that are not found in a medieval setting, there are exceptions, but usually any devices like this are magical. Forgotten realms, the elder scrolls, Lord of the rings, and others like this are all high Fantasy. J.R.R. Tolkien, author of the Lord of the Rings, actually created the genre of high fantasy with the creation of The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and all of his works involving Middle Earth.

    Ok, then so you could set up a D&D type thing with a "Game Master" who is kind in control and everybody else "plays" in his/her world or you could do a sort of interactive story thing where people just write things in that are appropriate to the story and do it that way, or anything in between?

    Ok now before you go off telling me how basic role playing work you should know I have played Dungeons and Dragons for many years and have LARPed a fare amount and have played table top role plays online through Roll20 (if you don't know what that is don't worry, it's just an online tabletop platformer) . So what I am wondering is how does it work on this site, without dice and such, or rules, or any stuff like that? Do you just sort of collaboratively create a story in the form of role play, or is it more complicated. So ya, if someone could tell me how it works Specifically on this site, I would really appreciate it, cause if it is fun I want to get all up and in that. Thanks!

    OK, so some of you may have seen one of my other post a while back about how much I love fantasy and wish to live in a world of high fantasy. So I am looking for good high fantasy "things" out there that you recommend. What I mean by "things" are books, movies, games, hobbies, activities, and anything else you could think of that helps fill the need for fantasy. Just to give you an idea of the kind of fantasy I like here are some examples, Lord of the Rings, Skyrim, The inheritance series, Game of thrones, Dungeons and Dragons, and Magic the Gathering. Very Tolkien based high fantasy. So if you have any suggestions or feel the same way I do about fantasy feel free to comment or hit me up with a PM. Thanks!

    Thanks, I am glad you like them! I am Having a hard time coloring them because I am using the only coloring method available to me right now, which is a random mess of crappy colored pencils. I really want to go out and get some good high quality markers. Do you have any suggestions on which brand to go with? Or maybe a different way to color them?

    Well if you look at my post I never state that I think MLP adult content or adult content of any kind should not exists, I enjoy a good Gory Zombie movie, just not when it is related to MLP. I was just stating that I do not like it and I personally think it takes away from the show. I also understand that the large majority of bronies are adults and are mature enough to handle content like this. I merely wished to state my opinion on the matter and see if other people felt the same way. Also I agree with you on the children subject. First, even without safe search on, 99% of the time you are looking up my little pony stuff you don't see any NSFW, as long as you are searching stuff like, rainbow dash wallpaper or Rarity and Applejack playing, it does not really show up. That is not to say an image or two won't pop up now and then, but over all its not that bad. Second if you take the 2 minutes to turn safe search on it happens even less, almost not at all, Google has fairly good filters. Finally If a child does see an unsavory image, it's not like that child is going to be scared for the rest of their life and need consoling, They maybe a little freaked out and ask their parents about it, but it's not like that one picture will affect the rest of their life.

    So I am a dude and I like to cosplay, a lot. But as I am sure you know most of the characters in MLP are female. So I am just looking for some tips and creative ways on how to cosplay as a female pony. (wow if I said that to my parents... ooooh that would be interesting) But seriously I just want to know what you have done that works, or things you have seen done that you liked. I mean if I wanted to do rainbow dash, should I just go wings and a wig and just make it kinda gender neutral, should I just cosplay her as a boy, or should i go all out and do sport shorts and a bra, (to some of you that may sound weird, but i have done stuff like that before, I have feminine features so it kinda works.) this is me so you can get an idea

    Ok, this may sound a little stupid, but i was wondering if anypony knows how to induce dreaming (cuase yorself to dream more) I also wanted to know if anypony knows how induce a specific kind of dream. Meaning, if i wanted to dream about MLP for example, how would i cause or force myself to do so? I know there may not be a way to do this, i was just wondering. Thanks!

    It is things like this that make me sad. Now parents all over the world are questioning if it is good for kids to indulge in fantasy. Parents will restrict their childrens creativity because of the actions if two mentaly unhealthy children. There is nothing worng with fantasies, make believe, myths and so on. Haveing a vivide imagination i think is more important than anything. But now because of the actions of crazy, i am sure some parents will try to stifle that in their children. Slenderman is not to blame at all, nor is any otner type of unreal figment of the imagination. Only the deads of crazy people. It is the same when people say video games make you violent. Studies have actually proven that they help relieve stress and take out anger in a safe way. While i do think that playing video games too much can hurt your imagination. They don't make you a murderer.

    Well, I wrote the damn thing so I can tell you with all honesty, I am not asking for it not to exist. I am not saying it should not exist. I am not saying the people who make it should stop. I am not saying the people who like it are bad. I am not saying the people who like it should not exist. I am not trying to stop it from happening. I am not trying to crush creativity. I AM saying that I don't like it. Yes, you can call it a complaint if you want, but I am NOT trying to get ride of it. Again, I am sorry if this upset you, I did not want a heated debate. I was only reaching out to other people who shared my views, with no malice what so ever.

If something I posted here has offended you I am sorry, because while I agree that stuff like that has every right to exist and that I am fine with the people who make and enjoy it, I have every right to not like it and I have every right to say so. I would like it if you could be more civil to the other users on this thread.
