I totally get it. I'm super chill like her but I'm more of a sage than a hippy. I love my Earth Warriors! That's why I like her so much. She seems really easy to get along with. And yeah, she's gonna get branded as a stoner hippy pony. That glazed expression and the inflections she uses with her words are... unique to that kind of lifestyle. I would know because I do part take, often with tree huggers, and it annoys me when I'm exposed to cannabis use or misconceptions of the culture displayed in a negative light. All the MLG, lame 420 jokes, Snoop Dogg, (basically the stuff that was created by someone who has probably never even smelled mary J before) really gets on my nerves sometimes. Now Tree Hugger is gonna be put through that and it breaks my heart. But I don't think Tree Hugger would care. She would be flattered and welcoming of this form of expression. I mean it really isn't that much of a big deal. I like to think of her as a pony who does get high on life but also other things, kinda like I do. Her outlook on life is pointed to the bright side! -

This was such a good episode. Me being the kind of fan that I am, I instantly fell in love with Tree Hugger. I love her design and once you get past all the exaggerated new agey spiritualisms she spits out (it's a cartoon, I get it, it has to be funny), she just sticks with you. How appropriate to have her as Fluttershy's friend. I can just imagine the things they would smoke together...... oops, I meant to say, the things they would SMOKE together....... yeah, that's it. Other than the introduction of the best pony ever, Discord was hilarious in this. I love the 80's comedians references and the MGS box reference. If Kojima tweets about the episode i will die. Maud tho... ouch! She didn't just call him basic. She didn't just call him a joke. She called him the most basic of jokes.... daaaayyuuuumm..... I honestly think Celestia was drunk ("I am quite looking forward to just ENJOYING the Gala for once"). She laughed at Twilight when Discord took a jab at her. Celestia, a good mentor doesn't laugh at her student's sucky skills. Plus I'm sure if she REEEEEEAAAAALLY tried, she could've stopped the Smooze. Discord did it with ease. She can control the sun for goodness sake! Also she was the one who invited Discord this year. Tia wanted to Turn Up. Too bad Luna couldn't get off from work. -

It was pretty neat! I like what I see so far. It might be too early to speculate but could Twilight be recruiting an army? She liberated a village from a dictator and made new friends. There also is going to be an episode celebrating background ponies. And she has a giant magic map of Equestria. Twilight's magic is stronger because of friendship. The more friends she has the more powerful her magic. And Ms. McCarthy did hint that the map can do "other things" if the user's magic is strong enough... hmmm....... Sweet mother of Steven, what's gonna happen? OMG they are too good with the suspense! I'm actually excited to see this just to see it happen... like going to see a building detonate or a train wreck. They're so different. What happens when a positive force meets a negative force? Pretty neat stuff! We'll see. THE ONLY THING THE BUGS ME IS THE FACT THAT IT'S GONNA BE CANON!!! In a promo UG knocks on Steven's gem and it knocks back... could be canon for a good reason. And UG is everyone's Uncle and Grandpa. Like I said, we'll see!

@darkwingmare Yeah me too! and now I have a place to talk about it with fans of mlp........... excuse me, I MUST go watch Jailbreak for the 1927384567th time. I was doing really well too. It's been only 7 hours since I've watched it last. There will be a day when I go a full 24 hours without watching Jailbreak again. But it is not this day!

I FEEL THE SAME WAY! And Steven is growing up so fast! I wanna see more Amethyst backstory. It is such a brilliant show! So very creative and you could tell the writers have fun with this! Oh man! What a time to be alive!

OMG I love this show so much. I knew it was a sleeper hit. For me things really popped off when Stevonnie came on the scene... and the Jailbreak..... GAWD.....! Amethyst still may be my favorite but Garnet is without a doubt my fav OTP

Like I said it is inspired by bronies, MLP fanfare, etc. I don't think I'm as great as the others I've read but as I am a fan of MLP and I am fan of the fandom. You guys are awesome! This is a story about hidden desires and indulging them. A party starts out with good intentions but ends with life changing events. "Is this how our lives going to be from now on?"
