I have been wondering since the first day I became a pegasister how the parents of ponies know how to name their children after their cutie marks and such, and in Hearth's Warming Eve I realized that the ponies from long ago were not really named after their cutie marks. And from the very start it seems that the ponies knew something about their young's future or something because Celestia was named after the sun and Luna the moon, and they are years older than the ponies in Twi's generation. And Starswirl was named after his magical abilities even when he was (this is gonna make me sound rude) really old. So how the heck to the parents know their child's cutie mark, or is it just a lucky guess?

I don't think Hasbro is brave enough to cover homosexuality on the show; can you imagine the backlash? It would be a catastrophe.    

 

Personally, however, I wouldn't mind if they revealed Rainbow to be a lesbian or created a new character that was gay. I just don't think it will ever happen.

Yeah I don't think they would do that on a show directed to kids either.

Oh, yes, I like that one too!

Too many good songs to narrow it down, but the top three (in no particular order): "Generosity", "You'll Play Your Part" and "Make a Wish". Honorable mention for "Let the Rainbow Remind You" for making me cry when I saw the season 4 finale.

Generosity got stuck in my head for about 2 months, but I couldn't remember any of the words but 'GENEROSITYYYYYYYYYY', so I was stuck singing, and I do quote, "GENEROSITYYYYY! I'LL MAKE YOU SANE"

and

"GENEROSITYYYY I'M HERE TO SAY, THAT I WILL BUCK YOU!"

I was weird.

"Flame," Inky began to speak quietly. She paused, not knowing how to say what she was about to say. She didn't want to seem...wrong....or anything, but she couldn't keep the question out of her head.
"err....how does a pony...um...introduce his slash her bloodline to a pheonix?"
It was suddenly silent and all eyes were on Flame.

"Interesting names," The strange stallion said, before realizing that may have hurt the ponies's feelings. "not in a bad way, though! May I ask were I am?"
The stallion now looked around at the fronds and trees growing around him and the other ponies.
"A forest, perhaps?"
