That's awesome. I'm going to my first con in August which will be BronyCan, which is a Canadian brony convention in Vancouver.

Yeah! About meeting people—you could try talking to the people you see more, saying hi to them and stuff, and maybe they'll give you weird looks at first but eventually someone might connect and you might become friends, or maybe not and it might be a long time before you find any friends, I don't know, I can't give that specific advice since I don't know your personal situation, like maybe you're shy or something and don't like approaching people, I don't know.

I'll be your friend! But I know a friend on the internet is not quite the same as a friend in real life. Sometimes you just get unlucky and don't come across the right kind of people who want to be your friend, but it's not always your fault; just be yourself and be kind and friendly as you can towards people and sooner or later you'll find people who want to be your friend. But for now—I will be your friend.

:) You should get a shirt, then, that's what you should do.

  8. This morning on the drive to work I was excited to hear on a local radio station an interview with Ashleigh Ball and Brent Hodge about the documentary "A Brony Tale," which was shown at a Vancouver film festival yesterday (sadly, I did not see it). The interview also made me realize that Ashleigh Ball is from Vancouver, which makes me happy since I live in a city very close to Vancouver.
