    I like seeing a little chunkier version of Sunset. MLP doesn't really have too much body diversity. It has some, but not much.

    Ah ok. That explains why I didn't know who he was. Thank you. Thank you both. I remember the episode and vaguely remember the story she was reading more in the sense I remember she read one. I'll have to go back and rewatch it now lol. Oh wow he sounds like he may be intense depending on how they change his character to reflect the shows ideas. Thank you!

    I found the longer I watched the show the more I started to like all the Mane 6 almost equally for their different reasons. Rarity is an amazing pony. She rarely lets life catch her off guard so she always looks fabulous and reacts in a fabulous way.

    I love Sunset Shimmer. Seeing the way she has developed and really come into her own has been an amazing journey that I'm glad I was able to be on with her. IMO she's had some of the best character development.

    It's amazing! You're going to love it. It really shows how close they have gotten and how true of friends they really are.

    I just adore the character development that we've seen in Starlight Glimmer and hope to see much more of the same thing in this final season.

    I loved how the Season 9 premiere showed how close the girls have all become during their time together. The way they showed their care for each other as needed was just amazing.

    I agree as well. Once she calms down and is given the time she needs to do all her little Twilight things. I do like that she freaks out on things like this it helps me feel a little more normal that I'm not the only one that would react like that lol.

    Well Rainbow Dash assumed they would be taking over all their duties so maybe they will just give Twilight all the powers or divide them among all the Mane 6. This is why they needed more than a few days though. These questions are important!

    I feel Cadence gave up way too easily. Flurry fought more than she did. I do feel the "gardening" scene was drawn out way more than it needed to be as well. As for Celestia and Luna not giving the Mane 6 time to adjust and prepare they just were going to dump running a WHOLE country on the shoulders of someone clearly freaking out about the responsibility in the first place then they were just like "Oh you will only have like three or four days btw" expecting Twilight to just be cool about it. I mean "Twilighting" is a thing and Celestia (who is just short of all knowing) didn't forsee her "most loyal student" to lose her mind the same way she did when she was given just a little power. I mean Twilight has "Twilighted" at almost any other major change in her life and Celestia thought this would be different? I mean if her friends can predict her "Twilighting" to the point of knowing even what words she would use exactly Celestia should have at least known that there would be some kind of freak out.

    So MLP: FIM is the first of the whole MLP series that I've actually watched. This season is the first I'm ever hearing of this Grogar villain, but it seems everyone else here knows who he is. Did I miss something? I've watched each of the episodes at least three times (if not more) and I don't recall him being talked about at all. I'm with Cozyglow on this. I know they explained his past in the first two epsidoes, but I was wondering if there was more to it though. Is he from past generations or is he completely new? Please be nice.

    Perhaps they feel misrepresented. I myself as a member of the LGBTQ+ find that there aren't many gay couples in just "normal" television. As for the main topic of this thread I don't see it being a problem. One person had a bad experience. I'm sure more have, but we haven't seen anything from the writers, creators, etc themselves to prove that there are "so many crazy shippers." If the creators of these characters aren't finding this to be a problem, then I would say it's not really a major problem. Yes those who seek to harm anyone for any reason should seek professional help, but our first call should not be to just lock them up because they make the rest of us look bad. I'm a shipper and I know plenty of shippers through other fandoms. We aren't exactly quiet about who we ship with who and who our OTPs are, but the majority of us aren't becoming extremists.

    Maybe I'm blind, but other than Raggamuffin kinda looking like AJ I don't see anything that implies Rarijack. I kinda took it as more of a joke on Titanic than anything.

    I would say both pony versions and human versions are vegetarian. Read the spoiler for my thought process. There may be actual spoilers since I break down a few episodes as vaguely as I can. I stay in season 1 only though since it would take too long to do as much for all the seasons. Well I'll stop now lol. Hope it wasn't too much.

    I love Starlight! That being said I do find it odd that she enslaved a whole town and gets to walk free "because she learned her lesson" whereas creatures like a bugbear has to sit in Tartarus (sorry if it's spelled wrong). I get that those creatures were probably there to make certain things able to happen. I get that's probably the only reason the animators put them there so that the Mane 6 would get the opportunity they did. I think they could have done a better job with Starlight's redemption. Everypony just seems to accept Twilight's word that she's OK now. Then she's given a big important job in later seasons whereas Discord is left to the side feeling left out. With all that said though I love Starlight. She's one of my favorites because I can connect with her on a personal level. She does seem the most flawed out of the rest of them. We also need to remember it's a children's show and we can't expect them to do a story line just for the older audience when this one works well with the target audience. I mean my niece sees nothing wrong with Starlight so it clearly worked for who it was supposed to work for I guess lol.

    I just downloaded a bunch of mods for Stardew Valley so that's my current obsession.
