    Yeah, overthinking much? I doubt a TV-Y rated show like MLP will ever touch upon such an issue. I'm all in for an unhealthy amount of discussion about colorful ponies but this is kinda pushing it.

    I honestly don't understand how anyone DIDN'T have any problems with this episode. Usually you'll get a bunch of people who pick out the flaws in every episode. I can do it right now! How about this: - the Ponyville dwellers switch their allegiance on a dime. - So Pinkie Pie is not a bumbling idiot this time (people act like she wasn't a bumbling idiot since season 1 unless an episode focused on her). Ok, but... why does it feel the rest of M6 was dumbed down, especially Rainbow Dash? - Cheese's "plan" to imperss Pinkie doesn't make any sense. - Cheese's "superiority" doesn't make any sense. Pinkie already made a party similar to the birth-versary. In the Canterlot Wedding. - Oh, and the story structure? Happy! Sad. Happy! Sad. Happy!

    Cheese's motivation still confuses me. Didn't seem like he was particularly interested in impressing Pinkie specifically. It felt like he came up with his "true backstory" to make PP feel better or something.

    Nice try? What? You're the one who's trying to prove a movie you simply didn't like is not canon. By that example I was just trying to show that MLP is NOT above continuity derps. Those things happen all the time. It's not Polsky's fault the one line he derped out on you were able to exploit with the butterfly effect. --- Equestria Girls was an official release from Hasbro, was made by DHX, it's music was composed by Ingram & Anderson, ALL the voice actors reprised their roles and was even written by McCarthy, the present most important writer in the show. If that doesn't scream "canon" then I don't know what does. Oh, and I'm pretty sure no one from the crew has ever said it was not canon. Au contraire, McCarthy did say it was canon. Ps.: Meghan had nothing to do with Flash's return. And even if she did, there was no way she was going to tell the truth about S4 that wasn't even out yet. Embargo and all that.

    With so much teasing of foregin lands... yeah, I would love to finally see one! There are so many choices - the lands of Zebras, Griffons, Saddle Arabia, Maretonia, Mustangia... And I really hope the VIP area from Equestria Games was a promise of seeing those places in the future.

    Funniest - Discord Most competent - Sombra Most effective - Tirek --- When it comes to "lower level antagonists" I like the fact most of M6 got their own, personal nemesis. Trixie/Sunset (TS), Suri (Rare), Flim&Flam (AJ) , Glda (PP), Lightning Dust (RD) and perhaps even Garble for Spike. Now if we can get a legit villain for Fluttershy in Season 5...

    No idea why people think Pinkie Pride is oh so much better than Magical Mystery Cure. That damn celebrity bias. The story structure is weaker, the conflict is superfluous and everyone besides PP seems flanderized. Or at least blind.

Ok so pic #1 is from Magic Duel and pic #2 is from Twilight's Kingdom pt.1. --- When you compare the 2 pics you can see they're not extactly the same - certain assets have different shapes. However, they still made structure of the alley look identical - the windows, the doors, the carts...
