Indeed, it's a very short story, but it does a very good job of bringing out Gilda's side of the picture. I'd like to see a longer story by you, because you show promise. Honestly, the only problem worth noting that I can find is that it's so short, a bit short even for a short story. I'd say, keep writing, it looks great so far.

Decided to post it here in a topic my um,my first writing

Apparently there are grammar errors,but according to the people that said it,they arent that...eye sore.So you shouldnt be bothered by them that much,I guess.I think

I got the inspiration while watching Griffon The Brush Off again,after watching The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone(my fav episode of season 5) for like,the 10th time.Did I said I love that episode?Because I do,and I love Gilda too,fantastic episode :grin2:

Anyway,before I fangirl over Gilda more than I already did,lets move on shall we?

Also,I hope Gilda is in character and everything.Is a...short story,but hope you will still enjoy it(warning tho,apparently even if its short it can give you feels still .You had been warned )

Plenty of reason,including

- I like the fact they never state why she is the way she is,so you can have your own headcanon

For instance mine is that while her and Dash were besties,Dash was the "cool" pony and you could get popular automatically if you were friends with her and stuff.And when Dash leaved Gilda,she began to be bullied for not being a pony,so she turned herself into a bully so she will never have to deal with that again

- She yelled at Fluttershy(I...dont like Fluttershy.So points to her for that,I love that scene )

-I just like her generally.She is a very interesting character for me and I could love to see her again(and considering a future season 5 episode is about the map sending Pinkie and Dash to a place full of Griffons,there is a possibility :grin2: )

Actually I would consider both Rarity and Pinkie as the most faith driven of the Mane Six. Now Rarity is obviously not a Christian, because how the Hell would that be possible in a world where Jesus never existed?

 

Rarity has more than once espoused an idea of "destiny." Her cutie mark story has her as a filly, putting faith in her magic leading her somewhere for a great distance, her faith is tested when it appears to be a "dumb rock" but is then rewarded when it turns out to be something beautiful, and leads to her discovering her cutie mark and thus her destiny. So if one pony was to have an idea of spirituality and look to Celestia as a kind of epoch or paragon of such, it would be Rarity.

 

Meanwhile Pinkie also strikes me as very faith driven, sure she has her Pinkie sense and her belief that it just works, but that doesn't strike me as faith. She knows that it's going to work even if she doesn't connect the method with the meaning. No Pinkie's faith comes from her nature as the Element of Laughter. Even in the face of abject doom, Pinkie never stops laughing and smiling, some call that obliviousness but I think she's smarter than that. Pinkie, to me, just has hope that things will always work out even if she doesn't know how or if they will. She's even a good example of the "practically religious" in that she may believe in a good outcome but she always comes prepared for adverse circumstance.

 

"I've stashed X all over Ponyville, in case of X emergencies." Sure those "emergencies" tend to be silly, but she was right in needing each implement.

I dont really know,hence sometimes I dont believe in afterlife at all and in the next minutes I do.However when I have moments I believe in afterlife ...I know it will sound stupid,but I view it as a hotel (yeah,yeah I know ) or something where the persons that did good souls are going in luxurious rooms and the bad ones get dirty ones with shitty services or something.Again is hard to explain,I dont really know how to view the afterlife better than that

And when I dont believe in it I sorta imagine is the same um....feeling to before you were born,so to speak.

Oh well,guess I will find out when my time will come.With a little bit of luck,maybe I will have a fancy bed in my hotel room

Please do not be deceived by the image and title, this fanfiction is an impressively written defense of Princess Celestia against those fans who have criticized her actions and decisions in the show, against those that have suggest she is a tyrant, troll, puppet master, or simply an incompetent leader who risks the lives of others... all under the disguise of a story focused on Twilight having to resist and stand again a figure who is filled with hate and anger against Celestia.

 

One who seeks to convince Twilight that her beloved mentor is an evil and manipulative tyrant who doesn't care about any pony but herself, a princess that must be dethroned and Twilight take her place or if not another, preferably Princess Luna. Yet Twilight will stand her ground, defending Celestia and making counterarguments to everything offered by the hooded figure.

Im atheist(I do however believe in afterlife,just not that i has anything to do with heaven/hell).Im like this for many reasons,oh well

I want to apologise for my fellow atheists that make you feel bad you believe in what you believe and such.Exremists are bad no matter the religion,oh well.Not everyone of us is like that though and we definely arent demons from hell or something as some people label us.All some of us,at least,want is to dont get "You will burn in hell" messages when we state our opinions and views

And dont listen to our stereotypes either please!Everyone is different but I assure you that some of us dont hate all christians/religious people of any kind just because they are religious(this is the most common stereotype I've seen for my people)

Again,some of us just want acceptance.Sure,we have extermists too,but we also have some really sweet people that are being labeled in some of the most wrong and bad ways just because of their belief(or lack of)

I personally dislike just extremists when it comes to religion.

Again,dont listen to the stereotypes,some of us are really caring people if you give us a chance and dont judge us blindly by our lack of belief and views

and countless questions on this.Religion is a very touchy subject on media,because if you use it wrong or right it doesnt matter.You will still have people being offended/mad/angry/whatever about the fact you used that religion and not theirs or stuff

Besides why yes,Celestia for instance just you know,raises the sun(and even raised the moon for sometime) which makes living in Equestria possible.Of course she is worshiped.She a great leader that tries her best to make her subjects happy.THEY adore her.Hence,I could adore her as well I sorta do it already.Best princess in my opinion
