Just wonderin', any of you guys make music? It doesn't have to be pony-related. Preferably EDM, but I'll listen to anything. If so, mind posting a link to your YouTube channel so I can stalk it? Thanks!

Thanks so much for all the info! Looks like I've got some reading to doWhat are the plots of these stories?
Here are the summaries.
Hard Reset: Twilight isn't having a very good day. An experimental spell blew up in her face, an army of changelings is attacking Canterlot, and she just died. Yet somehow, it looks like it's going to keep going downhill from here.
Given the chance to correct what's gone wrong, Twilight swears she's going to fix all this even if it kills her. Which it will. Frequently.
The Immortal Game: Long ago, in the magical land of Equestria, there lived a powerful King and his dark Queen. Immortal and ignorant, their end came at the hooves of their daughters, Celestia and Luna, who sought to build a better future for ponykind.
Now ponykind’s old gods have returned.
Twilight Sparkle is trapped inside her own mind, slave to a cruel and impulsive consciousness built from everything she is not. Powerless and voiceless, she must find a way to stop the being that calls itself Nihilus from destroying everything she holds dear.
Luna is tasked with assembling the remaining Elements of Harmony in hopes of freeing their leader. For if ponykind is to have any hope, it is in Twilight Sparkle. And if Twilight Sparkle is to have any hope, it is in her five friends.
Facing her father in mortal combat, Celestia must do everything she can to ensure that ponykind has the tools to survive before she falls. With inevitable defeat bearing down upon her, she makes the first move in the oldest and deadliest game known to creation.
What are the conflicts of these stories?
Hard Reset: Twilight is fighting another changeling invasion, except she's caught in a time loop and keeps dying.
The Immortal Game: In the beginning, a pony called Nihilus Nix Naught is in Twilight's body and killing everyone, and mindf$%^ing Rainbow Dash. At the end, Equestria gets caught up in a completely massive war against Celestia and Luna's mother and father.
Who are the main characters?
Hard Reset is Twilight Sparkle, and The Immortal Game is told from various different perspectives, but at the start the main character is Nihilus Nix Naught (She's pretty awesome, and isn't exactly an OC, but she's as creepy as hell) and at the end it's Twilight Sparkle
Are they completed stories?
Yes, both of them are.
If you had to rate the gore of these stories, what would you rate them?
Both aren't too gory, but they do have violence and a bit of gore. It's not cupcakes or Rainbow Factory level, but perhaps a bit below Fallout Equestria level.
-
I agree so far. It is pretty straight forward on what happens. And the gore, oh my, the gore is pretty bad too.I read that and was pretty disappointed. It's just not terribly well written and has practically no tension, surprises, or rationality to what happens. Definitely gorey.
Woah, sounds pretty alright, definitely gonna have to check this one out laterThe Time Loop Trilogy (Hard Reset and its 2 sequels) are less gore but straight up very dark epic time travelling adventure. Let's just say that Twilight becomes her own worst enemy in effort to defeat an invading Changeling swarm and become an abomination and that gets more attention in parts 2+3. It's not technically grimdark but it's a wonderful gutrenching story.
-
I've never read Fallout: Equestria, but everybody who has says it's really good. Right now, I'm actually reading another Grimdark fic called "The Experiments of Twilight Sparkle". Oh my God, this story is so creepy. I'm only on the third chapter, and I'm already debating on whether or not I should keep reading it.Fallout Equestria and The Immortal Game. One takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where it's kill or be killed and the other is dark to the point of straight up Nightmare Fuel. The second chapter alone has Rainbow Dash mind raped into a obedient servant by a demonically possessed Twilight, who was turned dark by have a shard of darkness forced through her eye.
-
I am quite interested in reading these two. I have actually never heard of them, but the names seem pretty promising. Do you mind sharing some details?Hard Reset and the Immortal Game.
Note, the last one is an epic, but by god is it as grimdark as hell. Rainbow Dash and Twilight's perspective in the beginning is just... dark. You'll know why if you read it. I mean... it's just creepy.

I like gore, but I don't like too much of it. Especially if it's all gore and nothing else.

I forgot a bunch of others...
11.) When someone asks me what am I listening to, and I'll probably tell them Hip Hop (because it's what I listen to most of the time), and they tell me it isn't "real" music. You know, I think you are a rude asshole. How dare you disrespect my preference of entertainment. Yes, you are entitled to your own opinion, but what evidence can you show me to prove your statement to be true? If you cannot provide it, then you can use the rectangular hole in the wall to exit the conversation.
12.) People who hate on things without having any knowledge on said topic. Have you ever done a thing called research? It can help you become less of an idiot.
13.) The God-awful stinch of someone's sweaty armpits.
14.) The use of the word "pony" in place of the word of "person".
15.) People who hate the newer Pokemon and say things like "The people who design Pokemon are seriously running out of ideas. A trashbag for a Pokemon, seriously?" The first generation had Grimer, which was basically a puddle of sludge. They also had Exeggutor, a coconut tree.

1.) When people ask me for my opinion, and then tell me I should change it.
2.) When I'm walking around my house with socks and I step in a wet spot.
3.) When people keep on trying to speak to me while I have my headphones on.
4.) When someone asks for a piece of my food, and then takes basically all of it.
5.) When I'm sleeping and someone wakes me up just to ask for a favor.
6.) Not having enough time to do what I originally wanted to do because I was to busy doing something for someone else.
7.) When people step of my shoes purposely.
8.) When it is 95° in my house and someone says to turn off the AC.
9.) When someone takes the last of something I wanted, and doesn't even use it.
10.) When I walk into the bathroom, only to find out someone went all R. Kelly on the seat.

I have only read a handful. Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, Cheerilee's Garden, Scarlet's Harvest, and Sweet Apple Massacre. I don't personally think Cupcakes was THAT bad, and I don't think it deserves all the hate it gets. Sure, it was pretty gross, but I think Sweet Apple Massacre was creepier. But, my favorite of these would probably be Cheerilee's Garden/Scarlet's Harvest. They're interesting enough to make you want to keep you reading them, and dark enough to put you on the edge. What's your favorite Grimdark fanfic?

His animations were so good that when I first watched them, I was stunned to find out they were fan creations. In fact, they were so well done that it rivaled the animations from the actual show. Hasbro did not like this. Nobody in the fandom besides Jan has ever been able to compete with the actual works. I think this is why he was hit with the C&D.
-
I really like his style, and I want to find other artists who make music similar to his. I watched the YouTube video showing him, along with several other brony musicians, at their BronyCon panel, and Glaze said he makes a form of EDM, but I'm curious as to what exact form it is.
-
Thank you for clearing that up for me, I don't really use the website, so the only way I can really know is if they put it in their video description. Have a brohoof.
-
I was looking through the descriptions of his pony material, and not one of them has an Equestria Daily post. Not even Nightmare Night, which has 3,000,000+ views has one. So, my question is, is Glaze acknowledged by EQD, or does he just choose not to put the links in the description?
-
What are bronies? Did you mean brownies?

Unfortunately, I didn't know about the fandom's musicians until after H8_Seed left. So, why exactly did he leave? Also, what was your favourite H8_Seed track?
-
Plan world domination with it.
-
I remember my teachers making us watch it in 3rd grade, but I never watched it on my own time.
-
I voted for Glaze, but ElectroKaplosion is a close second.
-
Is he really still making Pony-related music? I heard somewhere that he had to stop because of a contract or something like that.
-
Glaze and ElectroKaplosion are my two favorites. God, I wish they would collaborate.

Pinkamena. She tortures ponies for as long as possible until their heart stops beating, and makes creepy jokes while doing it. Then, she makes the said pony into cupcakes, and feeds them to everone. That's pretty sinister.
-
I didn't hate it, but Rainbow Factory is better in my opinion.
-
I'm pretty sure Notch is a brony.

Favorite/Least Favorite Glaze Tracks And Why?
in Sugarcube Corner
Just wonderin'. My favorites are:
Rainbow Factory- That bass drop was so insane I almost had a seizure. And I thought the violin fit perfectly.
Awoken- One of my favorite songs in the fandom. Amazing lyrics and a sick instrumental.
Lost on the Moon- Great vocals/lyrics/instrumental and the powerful solo to top it off.
There are only two songs by Glaze that I can say I genuinely don't like:
Avast Fluttershy's Undercarriage- I dunno why, I guess this song just isn't my cup of tea.
Pinkie's Lie- The instrumental is pretty sweet, but I generally don't care to much for songs that use words from the actual show.
What are your favorite/least favorite songs by Glaze and why?
