    Drowning nightmares I feel ya man One time I had a nightmare when I was in the middle of the ocean and a doppelganger pushed me further down further, posed as me drowning so a life guard would come to save him and not me I've also never came even close to drowning so my fear is probably a result of me being unable to swim

    I must say I do enjoy going to places like waterparks and such but since they basically rely on you to know how to swim I can't go in water deeper than my height and I'm pretty short. I guess it's really more a fear of drowning than anything else That and the fucking ocean not for the creatures but it's so deep even someone who could swim could easily drown in the ocean

    The thing is that I did try to learn to swim by taking classes, but when we went to a deep end to learn how to say tread water the fear of sinking and drowning overcame the fear of learning how to prevent said drowning from happening while my brother is a great swimmer and me being the only person in my family unable to swim. A weird thing is I can't help to think that if I learned to swim I would enjoy it very much and do it whenever I can *sigh*
