If you had the power to expand the MLP world, what things would you add? For example, you could add locations like new areas in Equestria as well as new nations outside of it. Also, you could add new races such as original races like Diamond Dogs and Changelings, as well as regular races like deer and kirins. You can also add in new major characters that would play major parts in the world's past and present. Also, you can expand the world's history and come up with different events that happened in the past.

More like something out of a book in the reference section, just a bunch of information and stuff.

Are there any good places online that have heavy emphasis on worldbuilding ideas involving the MLP world, such as Equestria and places beyond?

Let's imagine that the MLP movie will close FiM once and for all and Equestria Girls hasn't been made yet. After the final season of the show has finished, you're all exicited for the movie. After watching the trailer when it comes out, you find out that it's Equestria Girls, and not the epic adventure that you wanted to see. How would you feel if Equestria Girls was the finale of the series?

Do you think they'll make additional shows and movies after they wrap up FiM? I'm sure there's plenty of stuff they could make to tell more about the MLP universe, as FiM would be just the beginning of it all. There could be a show about Twilight Sparkle being in Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, or a show starring dragons that have their own adventures.

What would you like the new MLP movie's plot to be? 1. I'd like it to be about the griffon empire ending their peace treaty with Equestria, then going to war with them. The mane 6 would have to put a stop to it all. 2. There could be a Chrysalis-Sombra team up. One of the changelings infiltrates the Crystal Empire vault to retrieve Sombra's horn, so Chrysalis can resurrect him with it. When they team up, they start taking over Equestria. All the heroes would try to save Equestria from it. Also, there could be a point when Sombra turns on Chrysalis and takes Equestria all for himself. 3. The mane 6 would go on a space travel adventure on board a Spelljammer style ship, finding different planets and alien races. It would be heavily inspired by the third season of Sonic X.

Yes I know that there's already Legends of Equestria, but that's based on FiM. I'm talking about the idea for an MMO game that has ponies, but is a completely different world and IP. The game's world could be similar to the FiM world (yet way more extensive), like having other races such as dragons, griffons, zebras, minotaurs, deer, kirins, etc, as well as other mythological NPC creatures. Would also have many different locations, some more advanced than others (compare Ponyville to Manehatten). Of course, the three playable races would be earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi. They can all have their own classes as well.

Even so, I'm hearing that other movies he wrote weren't so good either, not to mention that he doesn't even have a resume. Alot of people are now worried that this movie will have poor writing, which may hurt the film's chance for being a critical success (though it will undoubtedly be a commercial success, but I'd take the critical success over the commercial success any day of the week). The question is whether he has even seen the show and that he is confident that he will deliver a solid script that will appeal to both children and adults alike.

I'm just going to say that I've never seen Ice Age Continental Drift, or heard how bad it is, or know absolutely nothing about the writer, but why would they randomly pick some writer who has absolutely no experience with the show to do the script for a film adaptation? It's like they're presenting a huge missed opportunity, and them not picking any of the show's writers could be a huge mistake on Hasbro's part. And if the writer really is that bad, then the film already has a higher chance of sucking, and would end up being the biggest disappointment since SimCity 2013.

I'd love to see a season that's purely about the mane 6 traveling through space being on different planets and finding extraterrestrial races. It would be kinda like the third season of Sonic X.

Would be cool if there could exist things like alien races from the reaches of space. Would also be cool to see the mane 6 sent to another planet John Carter style, or go on a space adventure aboard a Spelljammer-style ship.

Anyone wondering that if this isn't indeed the conclusion of the series, this would be a first entry in a potential series like the Pokémon films?

If there was a story you wanted to see in a fanfic, what would it be? I'd like to see a revenge fic where after several griffons kill some filly's parents, she vows to get revenge as she grows up. Another story I'd like to see is when Ponyville gets ravaged by a pack of bloodthirsty monsters and there's a high body count, with lots of gore.

Without a doubt. It could be about the Griffon Empire ending their peace treaty with Equestria and start going to war with them. The Mane 6 would have to put a stop to it all.

What do you think FiM would be like if he wrote the show?

Too right. Of course, since all such pony stuff would be original content, we wouldn't have to worry about copyright. We could see more animations and games too.

I think ponies should evolve from the FiM fandom and be a whole different style of art, just like furries. Furries in general aren't actually based off of a single product, just as I'd like to see ponies not actually being from a licensed material like FiM. Think about it, just imagine seeing tons of content, like webcomics, being about ponies, but not as a fanwork of FiM. It's always been that way for furries, it's a completely individual thing. While there are many single products with anthropomorphic animals, furries is basically a whole fandom for that style. Ponies would be the same thing, FiM may have ponies for characters, but a whole fandom based around ponies themselves could be a whole new art form.

So we already know about the mane 6. Twilight Sparkle is a nerd who does magic and like to read and learn, Rainbow Dash is a tomboy and likes to be competitive, Applejack is very strong and hardworking, Rarity is a perfectionist and likes fashion, Pinkie Pie likes to make people smile and laugh, and Fluttershy is shy and likes being around animals. But if there was another mane 6 that was different from the others, what could their personalities, archetypes, and interests be like?

How about a tyrannical griffon emperor?

Just imagine Hasbro letting the entire fanbase create MLP content professionally, whether it be animations such as shorts, TV shows, and movies (theatrical, direct-to-DVD/Blu-ray, and made-for-TV), published literature and comics, video games that would be distributed by game publishers, music that would be signed by record labels, and radio dramas that would actually be on the radio. EDIT: Also, artists being able to make MLP art professionally. How do you think all that would turn out? Would it be a step in the right direction for the fanbase or would it be an absolute disaster?
