Lost love: Rarity and Spike fan fiction, by Discorded hooves Spike always loved rarity, no matter how much she threw him aside, even by the time he started to grow, he still followed rarity around like a puppy dog, he went to her to help her with her next season of fashion, she still used spike as a pin cushion, he walked over to rarity "Need a needle?" He asked, while blushing "yes, thanks Spike..." She said, destracted, she got a needle and started to sew the dress together, Spike went and sat on a chair "are you stressed?" He asked her, she took off her red glasses "a bit" she sighed, she glanced at Spike "but I have lots of work to do so, shoo!" She said, waving her hooves at him, he looked at her, she started to walk out of the Boutique, he walked to Twilights kingdom, the alicorn was sitting on her throne, she looked at Spike, he looked sad, she guessed it "Rarity?" She asked him, he looked up at her and nodded, he sat on his throne, that was right next to Twilight's "I try so hard! But she just throws me aside!" He cried, Twilight put a hoof on the dragon "that's Rarity, don't worry, I'll always be here" she said, as she gave a picture to spike, it had Twilight as a filly and a purple and green egg next to her, he hugged her, "thanks.." He mumbled, he got up, Twilight looked at him "where are you going?" She asked him, he turned around "back,to Rarity's place" he said, and walked out, Twilight returned to her royal duties "I hope he doesn't get crushed" she said. Spike went into Rarity's house, he looked around "What is it NOW?" She asked, he looked at her "I'm just here to help" he smiled, Rarity went to her third dress "Than help me, go get my blue fabric, and some sapphires, don't eat any!" She said, spike went and got her the stuff, Spike got one sapphire and put it in his mouth "here" he said, handing it to her "thanks spike" she said, not thankful of his help, she got the needle and sewed the sapphires onto the blue dress, she put the dress under the sewing machine "I'm so tired" she mumbled, Spike looked at her "I could finish the dresses while you take a break" he suggested, Rarity looked at him "Umm.. I guess.." She said, she trotted to her room "don't mess them up, Spike! My life depend on it!" She said dramatically, and she started snoring, Soike looked at the dresses, they were fancy, he didn't quite know how to make dresses, he got a purple dress with a shade of pink tint, it was not sewed and it had Ruby's by it, he grabbed them, then he started to sew it, he didn't quite know how to sew, he wasn't the type of dragon who did that, he tried to sew the dress, it looked like a mess, carefully, he picked it up, he put it on a hanger "maybe Rarity won't notice?" He said to himself, as the dress fell apart "great.." He sighed, he picked it up and tried again, he watched Rarity do it, it didn't seem so hard then, he tried to do it, he messed up the dresses Rarity worked so hard on, Rarity came down and looked at them, she gasped "Spike! You ruined them!" She screamed, she was a bit sad, Spike looked at her, "I'm sorr-" Rarity cut him off "why? Why didn't you tell me you didn't know how to sew? I could have done it myself!" She yelled at him once more, spike looked at Rarity "I'm really sor-" she glared at him "shut up and get out! Your nothing more than a scaly pin cousin who follows ponies around all day! You can't do one thing right!" She said, Spike looked at her, he started to cry a bit, he ran out, he quickly got to Twilight's house, he ran up to her "Did you even want me, Twilight?" He asked, looking up at her "of corse!" She said, getting up "what made you think I don't?" She asked him, he stared at her "Rarity says I'm worthless" he said, he looked at the ground "it's true, isn't it?" He asked her, Twilight didn't answer, she looked at him "why would she say that?" She looked at Spike "I don't wanna talk about it.." He said, looking at Twilight, "I need to go somewhere.. Refresh my mind" he said, he ran out, Twilight watched him run out, she sighed, then went downstairs to find where spike went, Spike ran through ponyville, he ran into the ever free forest, he looked around, he got to the castle of the pony sisters, he looked around, he saw Luna's old room "I'll just stay here.. Then I won't effect any pony" he said. Twilight knocked at Rarity's door "Where's Spike?" She asked Rarity, she looked at Twilight "don't know.. I don't care either!" She said, crying a bit, Twilight looked at him "What did you do? Spike was only trying to help.. You know how Spike feels about you.." She told her, she went on "and I know you feel the same.. Why did you do it?" She asked her, Rarity looked up at Twilight " I don't know! Now my spikey- Wikey is gone" she cried, she looked at Twilight "I'm sorry.. This is all my fault.. All spike was trying to do was care and help.. And I sent him away.. And now I probably won't see him again.. Ever.."
