I am not sure if you care, but I have saved your threads "Democratic Communism, Revolution, Socialism. Capitalism" as well as "Behavioral and environmental determinism exist"; if you want, I could PM you the content of those threads as it appears you spent quite a bit of time typing those (assuming you do not have the content of your posts saved elsewhere).

Naw its fine. My ideas of politics keeps changing, and that's part of why my knowledge stays with me because I want to make sure I am right whenever I participate but also like operating on limited information, but also sometimes need to read material anyways because some people just for some reason can't explain it in their own words why they think x is true. But yeah went on a little tangent there lol.

The debate section caused constant problems. Nobody can deny that. Why anyone would be here only for that one section is beyond me. If you want politics, go elsewhere. Thats pretty much what Jeric said.

Because ponies are chill (other forums can have more vitriol or bias), forums are slower paced than chatrooms like discord, helps to generate larger ideas sometimes and people can actually read those larger ideas, on discord people are just like 'tl;dr lets argue with this wrong person over here with short fast responses instead' lol.

  2. Couldn't you just, be stricter on people, and keep it open? And have a warning in the post boxes people type in, and it asks them are you sure before posting. But ok uh. Guess I'm not gonna spend time here anymore? lol

If anything this means the mods are understaffed, or incompetent, not gonna lie.

  3. Dr Wolf review: this show too fast for muh brain, but don't judge it cuz toxic optimism.

Other reviews: its not fim its bad I loved fim y u do dis

2 other reviews: Kinda bad for kids to watch, kinda promoting substance abuse, at least some of the animation is alright

What I think: this is painful to watch, but I can follow it unlike some people I guess *looks at dr wolf* but its colorful and energetic and the animation is decent. I could watch it as a means to exercise some of my critical thinking skills. Like Applejack was eating chocolate and 'oh this does make me feel better' but the science says junk food making people feel better is a temporary high and it makes people feel worse long-term. And that's kinda how substance abuse works too (but the real bit is the potion use in the show). So because I'm fast enough to watch the show, and see whats wrong with it or what works, then I'll probably watch it then because its content heavy even if its shallow and painful to watch. And my mind is like 'is this satire, is this not satire, idk' its like a meta irony. Like, some shows like Moral Orel work because the characters aren't trustworthy. But a show like this kinda blurs the lines. But tbh I cannot just watch more than 3 episodes in a row. Buuut this isn't the first time MLP referenced substance use. Like literally episode one Twi getting a drink, or when vinyl was probably on a substance in one of those equestria girls shorts. The show is aware of what its implications are, and who its real audience is. But me not being a gullible child, its probably okay for me to watch.

  4. I think its because ponies kind of ARE magic. Like, when their magic is drained from Tirek they would probably not even be able to feed themselves, would prolly end up dying. So I think it means they can be the magic behind the scenes that explain natural phenomena. Because of this mythological perspective it makes sense this series was a hit at the end of the day relatively, because stories for example our minds just appreciate even at a subconscious level. Stories have been a thing since languages probably. So it has a profound psychological effect, which is why our stories if they alternatively explain the natural world in some way its more immersive, because stories were often used to explain any and everything, even if it was tall-tales. So combine that idea with the fact they are basically living magic, you could say ponies make the world go round.

  5. A 2-d RTS game (2d games are underrated, broodwar, jump ultimate stars, indie games like Celeste, etc) where you have a mode defending against random disasters like parasprite invasions and other modes to play against the changeling hive or ever-free forest creatures or etc, as different locations in-game. And each pony you recruit is from the city and has different personalities and has some rng involved, so you need to put up fliers that appeal to different ponies to try and recruit them but you need different kinds of ponies or they will all have the same flaws, so you need to come up with creative recruitment solutions to fit their needs. And if the battle migrates to the city ponies naturally panic, so you need to employ a pony with leadership quality then the disaster serves as the event to drum up support. You lose if the city is destroyed or ponies are captured.

It should be campaign style, so losses to the city or ponies being lost can cause future dynamic changes. Or like Lyra gets captured, so Bonbon pledges her support, and stuff like that.

And each pony should have emotions and interests, so their dynamics change. And each has a unique ability, then a race ability. Like all pegasi can fly (except scoots) but then Flutters can also drum up support from animals (really powerful depending on region, but she is shy so equally as hard to get going to support the cause).

And food items should be throwable, and eatable (like pies from that one episode), should be a basic ability everypony has.

And it should be real time strategy not grand strategy.

And a team should gain friendship buffs over time if they stick together mission to mission, so in the campaign you can get all kinds of parties going along, but some dynamics do cause tension between members and might be difficult to overcome.

How ponies are recruited is either the city is simulated, or you buy a poster (temporary upgrade) and ponies rng spawn from a pre-selected set that display an interest in the style of poster based on how appealing to their interest it is. Like if you have a poster that looks mean or tough or scary or militaristic it may appeal to wonderbolts but not Fluttershy. So theres a deck of ponies based on locations and previous events, and its shuffled and draws some cards and if any of the ponies like the poster you got recruits now and can manually control them.

The campaign can be something like 'chaos spread through the land, all the villains n stuff joined forces' So theres different factions based on location but if you lose cities you will have to face combined factions as time goes on, but there are more displaced ponies willing to help the more cities you lose (but that creates economic drain so you have less resources for posters, pies, or other equipment.) And if the population morale goes too low then Windigos also get involved as like a final countdown, if you have any friends or solve the conflict before the windigos fully cause winter then crises averted.

You get game over in campaign from the Windigos or losing all the cities then losing the main invasion against the baddies (if you lose all cities there are all factions present as well).

This would add alot of replay value, and alot of dynamics into the game. You could get alot of challenge runs, like 'bonbon n lyra only' or 'let all the cities get destroyed then win'. And to incentivize that we can actually offer different endings, for no cities destroyed or some or all.

Your ponies in your party level up based on friendship style and level, and can gain more abilities the more types of friendships they have. Like Fluttershy can unlock different bonuses in a party or abilities due to being shy, or due to liking animals. So compatible friends when leveling up can learn animal abilities themselves or protective abilities or moral support thanks to fluttershy.

And I want the game to be winnable with either good control, Or good planning, but a chaos mode (basically hard mode) where you need both to win (and multiple factions can be present in any battle, even if defeated before).

    Edit:

And if you don't capture the villains they can support next battle if they escaped. And it costs resources to keep villains captured (but you can make posters to generate resources too) and if the train doesn't get destroyed when the town hall does, ponies evacuate into the next area based on random deck shuffling, but all get captured if the train station gets destroyed in that city. The more captured ponies the more changelings there will be, either attempting infiltration or because of more love draining there are more changelings available as enemy units as time goes on if more get captured.

So like, as the next city lets say gets displaced ponies from the train every 2 minutes, its going to be random cards from the first city a few at a time from the deck of ponies of ponyville who weren't captured, or such. Then if that city is also destroyed except its train, then only those who arrived were added to the city deck (the same deck the posters may recruit from) then now its the edited city deck can send displaced ponies into the next. But the displaced ponies who have determination will auto-support when drawn. And the ponies who have the hopeless tag, can't join even with a relevant poster. Its based on type of disaster and personality type if they get either tag. But if you have the right ponies (leadership) you can change hopelessness into support from refocusing their disgruntlements, so relevant posters make them change to a determined tag even if hopeless, which effects future dynamics.

But changeling infiltrators can try n sow disharmony as well (or if you have very poor attention back at the city while controlling ponies, they can even kidnap ponies that you draw from the deck to apply the poster effects on.)

@NiceVillains Are you accusing Stanton Friedman of falsifying documents, or a witness? If you are just going to accuse people of lying then what can I say? If that helps you sleep at night then fine. As for you math, that is irrelevant. Stanton points out in one of his books that there were people who mathematically "proved" that heavier than air flight was impossible, and that putting an object into orbit was impossible. People "proved" that an atomic bomb was impossible. You can prove whatever you want if you make the right assumptions. We don't know what technology someone a million years more advanced then us might have. A million years is nothing on a cosmic scale. As far as it being too difficult to cover up, that is also irrelevant. That is trying to prove a negative. We have no idea what the government does or does not have in secret. It doesn't change the fact that there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that cannot be explained by misidentification or lying.

There isn't overwhelming evidence, just fake documents and people who mistake random flying school projects for alien spacecraft.

The facts are there, read them if you want.

The facts are we got a guy with potentially falsified documents, selling them and books for money instead of releasing them. I can demonstrate how other 'reknowned doctors' have sold books that contradicted science before.

Upon doing math, I found it wouldn't be likely for aliens to visit us for another 140 million years (and that's assuming their planet is 60 million years older than ours, the age of our sun, getting a headstart). Only thing I couldn't factor in is how relatively old/young. Then once you consider, they don't have infinite resources, theres small ranges of angles they would need to see us, they may find other earth-like planets first, so it has to be a closer solar system rather than further, so its probably going to be the same age, so its going to be 200million years (and that's assuming they can move 500,000 mph, we can only hit 100,000 mph so far. And that's entirely ignoring, again, them stopping at other locations first, having limited ships or fuel, etc. It'd take us near a billion years to find life and that's assuming we don't run out of fuel, and don't need to stop, and don't get into an accident.

But because of the planning fallacy, all of those things would happen.

Which means it wouldn't be for multiple billions of years that an alien would visit us.

Or you believe a guy selling novelty books and falsified documents. Not to mention the required cover-ups in the modern age of cell-phones, like look how far the Christchurch shooter video spread before being censored, and you think they can censor stuff indefinitely? Its not real. I have nothing else to say, but its certainly not a fact you shared.

  9. @Meson Bolt I would bring along this 1337 h@x0r

Jump in the caac. Bust in while the guards are busy with the naruto runners. Let Meson hack all the guards to death and bust the aliens out. But they aren't aliens they were zombies. So I pour bleach to impede their sense of smell and we set a nuke to go off once the zombies breach to prevent humanity coming to an end. Then we jump as the nuke goes off so it launches us out of the base.

Then I'll retire n take a nice vacation on a beach getting a tan with shades on.

  10. I need a few things from you.

1.What is your strategy for entry

    2.Who are you going with

3.What happens when you are there

    4.How are you leaving.

    5.What are you doing after.

    My post/example.

Going to use my Legend of Zelda Flute for the twister to port me safely in with John Mcclane, stuff the aliens in my Fallout 76 canvas bags, and fly away in a spaceship. Then I am going to set the Aliens free but one comes back to be my friend n play videogames all day n help me sneak away from the FBI.
