if i deleted some frames  filesize would be smaller but it wouldnt be so smooth

That is certainly a good possibility. But if it is a copy and paste element of unity, it seems lazy from the writers. That is how I would feel about

 

Though, in some way, I do feel that the mane 6's cutie marks are reversed engineered and they have to come up with an acceptable reason for each one. I am thinking about this from the writer's point of view and I think there is a value in setting up the CMC to get their marks at the same time and they have to miss out seeing each other getting their marks. What do you think about this angle as a response to a possible link like the sonic rainboom of the mane 6, like you said.

I can see that angle and it could lead to that point where the Crusaders  "disband" their group and "give up" on finding the cutie marks going on their own paths  and it is when  the link event happens and  they get the cutie marks around the same time

There could be a mane 6 like element when Rainbow Dash did the Rainboom everyone got their marks, though  I don't know it could be a reference to that on a smaller scale

Well I was wondering about that too but after I took a peak into the the stats and how many lines she has been speaking we can see that While she still has quite many of her family episodes there still are episodes with her friends, where she is speaking.

"Apple Family Reunion"          a Family episode for Applejack and the episode where she had most lines in speaking in all Applejack episodes

I assume that the Everfree Forest where their old castle lies was the center of the ruling back then and they ruled Equestria from there and after Luna was banished I think Celestia moved to Canterlot which away from the old castle that held the painful memories  of her sister.

I think Canterlot was more of a "Unicorn city" back then. I seen lot unicorns there. And I assume it came the "centre "of the Equestria after Celestia moved there.  though this is just my own observation based on my own interpretations of the evidence that I've gathered by watching the show.
