Short post is short. Didn't want to make people read a huge post after everyone else's novels up there -
The white unicorn gasped as so many things seemed to happen all at once. Discord breaking free, so many ponies injured, and SiFi failing the group. She lowered her head and allowed a single tear of frustration to roll down her downy cheek. She knew that the others needed her now more than ever. Cantering over to Peach she laid down next to her and laid her head gently over her light orange back in a gesture of gentle reasurance. "We tried our best. That's what counts. You're stronger than any of us individually... thank you for your sacrifice." She hoped this would stop the tears. They all needed to heal and regroup and think of a plan. Dex was exhausted, but she would not rest until the others were seen to. She had seen Peach try to get up before and knew that she was too drained to get up on her own. "If I can help you in any way, please tell me..."

Dexterity's vision blurred and swirled. Stumbling to a halt, she shook her head. What just happened? Upon opening her eyes she realized that she was no longer in the cellar of the inn; she was outside, where Peach had disappeared. How....? Dex turned around and saw the other ponies in an epic battle with Discord. Upon seeing him, she remembered all of her fillyhood teachings. She remembered who Discord was and what he had once done to Equestria. She remembered the elements of harmony. The ponies were calling out for help. I want to help, but how? I'm just a silly crafty pony. I'm nothing special. That's right. You're just a regular ole Ponyville citizen. There's nothing special about you at all. They don't need you. You should just leave. Sadness creeped into Dexterity's mind, But I want to help. No! It was then that she realized that the voice in her head was not her own. It MUST be Discord. She stomped her hoof and put a determined look on her face. A smile slithered up when she realized that she WAS special. She always wanted to help other ponies. This was her chance. She heard the others calling out their elements and she then knew her element, sincerity. "I'm coming guys!!" Dex galloped towards Peach and the others as fast as her cloven hooves would take her. She skidded to a stop and focused all of her magic on Peach, unleashing a mighty blue beam. "Peach, I'm here for you. I won't let you down." Her sincerity could be felt by all who heard her. She was going to help them win this war. She willingly gave Peach all the power she had, knowing that soon the battle would be over. When she was nearly drained, Dex turned her focus on Discord. Running at full steam, she aimed her curved horn at him and hoped it would hit home.

I'd like to take the Element of Sincerity or Empathy... not sure which I prefer. -
Shaking her crimson mane, Dex sighed and looked into the now grey pony's eyes. "I have no master and I didn't teleport you anywhere. I think you were hallucinating. Think about it. I have no reason to harm you. I don't even know you. I just woke up from a nap and you ponies were here at the inn. If anything, I have more reason to believe that you came here to harm me. But I won't think that. I was raised to believe that everypony is inherently good inside. I'm just trying to be your friend, but if you still think I'm here to hurt you, I'll just leave you alone. You just have to say so." She turned to the neon green pony and looked at him sadly. Dexterity had never come across any situation like this and was baffled at what to do.
-
With a small nervous smile she said, "Now calm down Mr. Crazypants. All I did was give you a tiny shock to bring you back to reality. There never was a library..." Dexterity pawed at the floor with her hoof. "I just came down here to let you know that Peach has disappeared." Dex could see that the bearded pony was getting angrier and angrier by the minute and this frightened her very much. She had never experienced this from anypony before. Dexterity seemed to shrink in upon herself, trying to appear as small as possible. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you..." She looked back at the new pony in the room. Dexterity, you're surrounded. This is bad. You don't know these ponies, and they are all acting weird... You could get hurt. "I... ummm... I didn't do anything." She laid her ears back and lowered her head; she was so nervous she felt like she was going to jump out of her own coat.

Sorry for the huge delay guys... I woke up with a terrible migrane and couldn't get out of bed. I'm hopped up on Vicodin, so if any of my posts seem out of the usual, that's why. -
Looking at the slowly desaturating pony, Dex gasped. He was staring at something in his hooves... something that wasn't actually there. She stepped towards him. "Excuse me, sir.... there's nothing here, but you and me... what are you looking it?" A light blue light began to emanate from her horn as she got closer. She was trying desperately to get through to him, and hoped a little shock would do the trick. Dex lightly tapped him on the withers with her horn, hoping the static charge would bring him back to reality.
-
Dexterity listened to Brave, sniffled, wiped her face with her hoof, and got up. He's right. Freaking out and crying won't bring Peach back. I should let that other pony who went into the cellar know what's going on. Dex solemnly walked to the cellar door and down the stairs. Midway down she softly called out, "Umm... Pony that went down here, I've got some news for you." She waited for a response.

Peach said to act as if she's gone for now and to keep posting. She's out running errands and will be back soon -
"Thank you," she meekly mouthed towards Serah. She was encouraged that another pony had the same idea. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a bearded pony sneaking off to the cellar. I should follow him and see what he's up to... But Peach's outburst got her thoughts back on the grumpy pony. He completely deserves the verbal reaming he's getting. But deep inside she hoped that they would all just get along soon. She didn't want to see how bad it would get if they continued bickering. In a split second the door that Peach was guarding shattered, Dexterity jumped forward to grab her, but it was too late. Dex gasped at the situation, taking several steps back. "I... uhh..." All of this was getting too much for her. Waking up to many new ponies in the inn, the bickering, the untrustfulness, and now Peach disappearing.... Dexterity slowly walked away from the group of ponies and let the tears silently stream down her white face. Making her way to the corner of the room, she knelt down on all fours and tried to make herself as invisible as possible. I just want to go home.

Dexterity looked towards the injured silver unicorn with an inquiring look as he approached the windows. She hoped he would know what was going on. Apparently there was a pony called Peach here. What a funny name... I wonder if she works at a peach orchard or something. And who is this Discord fellow? Dex heard a response to her question and looked towards the voice. She saw he was a grey pegasus and he was as shaken as she was. All of this was becoming overwhelming. She gazed out at the swirling purple haze. Although frightening, it was beautiful in its own way, she thought. She was shaken from her thoughts as a tan unicorn with a gorgeous mane and tail shouted something at them. She hadn't heard the words, just the loud noise. But the purple haze was calling her back and she couldn't help but stare into the swirling wonderment. Her feelings of bewilderment melted away. It was then that she heard someone speaking to her and it snapped her out of the trance like state. Dex looked at the peach unicorn and realized that she must be 'Peach.' The pony was getting closer and closer still with a very funny look on her face. Dex's shyness overwhelmed her and she slowly backed away, her ears pinned back and her eyes wide. Her legs didn't seem to want to work correctly. They tangled and she fell on her rump. "I'm Dexterity," she sqeaked. The tan pony was speaking again, this time about Celestia, somepony named Discord, chaos, and a transmission. Dex was so confused. She looked questioningly towards Peach who seemed to know what was going on. Dexterity became distracted as she heard the dark grey unicorn with a muted red mane speaking. He was being very cynical and mean. Dex didn't know any of these ponies, but she certainly wasn't going to stand for anypony being mean. None of the Ponyville ponies were like this, friendship above all else and whatnot. Dexterity rose up from where she fell, stomped her hoof, and snorted while glaring at this unusal pony. "And who died and made you king of all Equestria? Where do you get off being so cynical? We're all ponies here... and while I'm confused as to what all just happened, we ponies got to stick together. Did you sleep through the class on Harmony when you were a colt?" She then realized that she was being very mean and dropped her head. "I'm so sorry for judging you... ignore me," she pleaded with her eyes.
-
Dexterity paused just inside the room where the majority of the ponies were. She started a bit when a dark red pony with hot pink mane and tail walked past her. Her heart beat faster and faster as she contemplated introducing herself. You've got to do this, Dex, if you want to know anything. "Umm, hi everypony," she said in a timid voice, swishing her unkempt tail nervously. With a small smile, "I'm Dexterity, but you can call me Dex. Can anyone let me know what's up with the weather?" Dex saw the purple haze outside and widened her eyes in surprise. "Ummm..." She cautiously stepped towards the windows and peered outside. "What just happened?!"
-
Dexterity groggily awoke and stretched all of her sore muscles. This bed wasn't as comfortable as the one she had at home, but at least it was a place to catch a quick snooze. She blinked slowly, as if to ward off the feeling of sleep which threatened to overtake her.But what woke me up? I'm this tired still; I should still be asleep. Dexterity listened to the sounds of the inn. Ponies! I wonder who it is. Dexterity finally got out of bed. She collected her belongings in her navy saddle bags, and trotted down the hallway towards the sounds of the others. She silently hoped they were friendly as she rounded the corner and saw them.

I would very much like to join this RP. I'm a friend of Peach! Here's my character: Dexterity - http://mlpforums.com...0433-dexterity/ EDIT: Pony from birth preferably. -
Name: Dexterity (Dex for short) Age: Adult (in her 20s) Gender: Mare Species: Unicorn Appearance: Dexterity has boyish face with light grey freckles, large blue eyes, and a slightly curved unicorn horn. She has a white coat, crimson mane and tail, and black cloven hooves. Her mane is cropped short and lightly styled, while her tail is rather unkempt. Cutie Mark: Dex's cutie mark is a purple heart, symbolizing loyalty, with a teal symbol inside of it, which symbolizes creativity. See the above pictures for visual examples. Personality: Dex is a bit of a tomboy, with a bit of a girly side she tries to keep hidden. She's a very talented artist, who enjoys sculpting, sewing, and sometimes even jewelry making. Dexterity enjoys making new aquaintences, but is very shy at first and takes a while to accept a true friend. She warms up quickly in conversation though, and when she does choose you as a friend, is loyal to a fault. Backstory: Dexterity grew up in Ponyville, and was often teased as a filly for her coltish appearance and actions. This only made Dex shyer and slower to friend. She was a late bloomer and one of the last of her class to obtain her cutie mark. Her teacher brought in some clay for the class to play with one afternoon, and it was then that she discovered her artsy side. Her childhood friends already knew of her loyalty, as she would defend them in any situation. After reaching adulthood and moving into her own home in Ponyville, she opened a small gift stall. She uses her magic to create small beautiful sculptures, dolls, and jewelry. Dex retains a small group of ponies she considers friends and is quite happy about that. She's very content and just wishes to please everypony. Other: She has a pet rat (blue blazed berkshire) named Galen. He's often found on top of Dexterity's head.
