    I have Sweetie Drops and Lyra mystery minis on my desk at work, but nobody ever looks twice because almost everybody keeps figurines or stuffed animals (or a bunch of other really bizarre things) at my workplace. Outwardly, I don't look as though I'm a brony - save for a rainbow dash cutie mark pin on my bag, if you recognise it. My house is a little different - there are pony figurines covering every surface lol.

    Snowglobe ponies and a Daring Do vinyl. Even though Celestia is still bigger, I really like that the snowglobe Celestia and Luna are more similar to each other in size than previous brushables.

Puke! - Modern house. Classic house rules, but I don't enjoy the new stuff. - Death/thrash metal. I love metal, but not if it's all screaming.

    Here are some of my thoughts... I've always been a strong believer in gender equality. I'm a biomedical scientist doing a phD, and I quite decidedly became a feminist when people began to tell me I wasn't chosen based on my academic record, but rather, because I'm 'hot', and my supervisor wants to sleep with me. Harassment plagues my workplace. T-shirts of naked women, screensavers of naked women, right in my face. If I express concern, I get told I'm an angry person because I listen to too much metal music. If it's my week to stock the shelves with lab equipment, I get told "Maybe we should help you, that's too much work for a chick." I'm not trying to bag out men; I know only a handful of men act this way, just as a handful of women can be cold-blooded [insert word of choice here]. I just never thought this sort of attitude could still prevail in this day and age. Really makes me wonder.
