  1. Aside from liking MLP:FiM, I have a feminine personality. I have a fashion sense. I also get overly emotional when something goes wrong. And I'm fascinated with kawaii. A lot of things that men typically like don't really interest me, such as sports.
  2. I know that the US has Black Friday, Canada has Boxing Day, and China has Single's Day (11.11). Now Black Friday has come to Canada in a way, most likely because they don't want us to go across the border for deals that are worth fighting for (literally). I understand why some of you don't like Black Friday. I'm just curious to see if there are any discount shopping day in any other country than the US, Canada, and China.
  3. I was born in '90, so that makes me both a 90's baby and a 90's kid. I spent my childhood in the mid-late 90's and the early 2000's; I have fond memories of that time, growing up with shows from Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney, as well as some anime. We didn't have those channels in Canada at the time, so we got those shows on Canadian channels YTV, Teletoon, and Family, because of the CRTC requiring a quota of "Canadian content" for children's TV channels. I was pretty unhappy about that, to be honest, but still, I got to enjoy some of the best cartoons ever! Also, I didn't get into gaming until the late 90's with the PlayStation, so I missed out on some classics like Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, TLOZ:OOT, and Super Smash Bros., but I did play Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and Final Fantasy VIII (didn't get into it). My sister was born in '88, so that makes her an 80's baby and a 90's kid.
  4. Sony Pony. I started gaming on a PS1 and have gotten every generation of the PlayStation console ever since.
  5. Planet Dolan just made a countdown video of knockoff foods (not just restaurants).
  6. Personally, I want to wear an awesome-looking mask in public without getting weird looks or people wanting to take selfies with me (that happened one night at BronyCAN 2016, and not with other bronies). I don't want people thinking I'm going to commit a crime such as a burglary. I do want to wear clothes that are not out of the ordinary but also unique, like an "assassin's" jacket (no, seriously, look it up). I live in Canada, too. Even in the small city/town where I live in, I sometimes see people dress up in attire outside of the norm, and that brightens my day.
  7. I remember one episode in season 1 or 2 there was a cow in Ponyville who said hello to Pinkie Pie! She actually talked! Then one or two episodes in later seasons, including the latest one, "It Isn't the Mane Thing About You", the cows were more like farm animals, only making bovine sounds like, "moo". Am I the only one who found this out? Sure, we have other talking 4-legged animals, such as zebras, donkeys, mules, buffalo, yaks, and of course ponies, but not cattle? Pigs, chickens, sure; they never have spoken before in the animated show. There was also one episode where goats only made goat sounds and only Iron Will understood what they were saying; they even had jobs. But one cow did speak, before. Sure, they have been on the show very rarely, but it still doesn't make sense to those of us who have been watching the show since season 1 to reduce cows to farm animals from another sentient race. Why not make cattle talk anymore?
  8. We have a restaurant similar to those restaurants that you talked about in my small city in Canada. It's called, "Milano's". Before, it was another Romeo's restaurant, but after disagreements with the Italian restaurant chain, it became independent. So, in a way, it is a knock-off. Not as much of a knock-off as oMc McDnoald's, facefood or Michael Alone. The food there is still good. I'm not sure there are any ponies here from other, non-English-speaking countries. I understand that this is an English-language forum and I just wanted to hear from ponies who are from those countries and can speak English, if there are any.
  9. I live only a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest strip mall which includes a grocery store.
  10. One night, I had a dream that me and my family stopped at a McDonald's knockoff restaurant off the highway, in Canada. The food was bad and they even sold cheapo toys. Then I woke up and realized that I've never encountered any fast food knock-off restaurants here in Canada, the US, or any other Western country. No Mak Dak, Pizza Hat, OFC, or Starf***s. The only knock-off restaurant/outlet that I've ever encountered in my life was Dollibee, which was a knock-off of Jollibee, in the Philippines. And that was 18 years ago! I am aware of the fast food knock-off restaurants and outlets in other, non-Western countries, such as China, Russia, and Iran. Would I try any of their food? No way! But, I have a slight interest in knock-off products from China and other non-Western countries.
  11. I have so many electronics in my home with various brands, some of which are Chinese electronics, it's hard for me to tell which brand is the dominant one in here.
  12. I live in the state of emergency. Everybody's evacuating! Jokes aside, I don't live in a state; I live in Canada.
  13. Politics? What's politics? Apes throwing poop at each other? Not in my vocabulary, but the quiz is a little interesting...
  14. When I think of rabbits, I think of the wild rabbit population all over my town, especially at the university where in the past people left their pet bunnies.
  15. I used it regularly until 2005/06 as well, when I switched to Firefox. My sister's boyfriend at the time showed it to me and recommended it over IE, and I never looked back. Now, I use Chrome and Maxthon.
  16. I've had my iPad 2 for 6 years, now. Sure, it was slow at some point, crashes apps occasionally, but it still works for me most of the time. It has a good battery life, and I still use it for Spotify, TuneIn, etc. Everything but gaming and web browsing. It is especially slow at loading heavy websites such as IGN, crashes the tab and reloads quite frequently. My iPad 2 is the first and only Apple product I have ever owned. I don't hate Apple, their products are very good IMO, at least for Average Joe's who are not very tech-savvy. My furry friend on PSN absolutely prefers Macs over standard PCs running Windows, because he's had a poor experience with PCs in the past. But, I personally prefer Windows over OS X mainly because there are more apps and games available for the aged OS. Same for Android over iOS. Also, if I want style for my tech, I'd just buy a cool-looking case for my desktop PC and install it, as well as a case for my phone.

animation The last Anime you watched?

Started Fairy Tail recently. I know, I'm late to the party, lol
  18. I'm playing mostly single-player games, for now at least. Now, I'm playing Sly 3 on PS Vita.

  20. I usually wear watches, because I just don't want to pull out my phone just to check the time. I'm right-handed and I wear watches on my right wrist. I have a cousin in the Philippines who is left-handed and wears a watch on her left wrist. It depends on where you feel more comfortable wearing a watch.
