  1. I'm always happy when anything (magazine, TV show, etc.) portrays the fandom in an unbiased or neutral light.  Some of the major news stations that have done (and I am reluctant to call them this) REPORTS on Bronies do it literally from the completely uninformed side of your average anti-brony and then dare to say it's all "facts", despite them looking no further than a few risque pictures of Rainbow Dash on 4Chan.  I'm thrilled that Playboy actually wrote something that doesn't sound like the irate babbling of an Internet hater.

  2. I found some episodes to be horribly boring.  Even when I was younger, I felt they could have done so much more with certain plots.  "The Sponge Who Could Fly" was immensely dull and the fact that it was hyped to the heavens made it even worse.    "Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy IV" was also too boring because it mainly consisted of the citizens getting shrunk by a panicking Spongebob....and that's basically it.  Nothing really happened before or afterward to make it memorable.  There's also "The Great Snail Race", which can easily be compared to certain modern Spongebob episodes.  Most of the jokes weren't funny, unless of course you find Spongebob treating his beloved pet snail like crap to be hilarious.  Kind of puts "Dumped" in a different perspective if it had aired soon after "The Great Snail Race".

I can forgive all of those clunkers because at least seasons 1, 2, and 3 never came out with anything as bad as "One Coarse Meal".

  3. I've played the game briefly, but I haven't gotten past Night 2.  I've been meaning to, yet I'm always stacking up a bunch of other games to do first and I rarely get around to actually going back to FNAF.  In all honesty, I like all the lore and theories more than the game itself.  It's very intricate and exceedingly interesting, especially since the first time I saw a video of FNAF I wasn't quite sure what was going on other than what the Phone Guy said.  Then I actually looked up the story of the game and watched some theory videos.  It's funny how I'd rather watch a hundred theory videos about the game than play the actual game.  I have, however, played some parody games.

  4. I honestly prefer "Cupcakes".  "Sweet Apple Massacre" seemed to be trying its best to be as messed up as possible (and it succeeded), which automatically ruined it.  It's not really a story at all.  It's just a bunch of disturbing scenes created for the sole purpose of getting a reaction out of people.  No real substance to it, just attempts at shocking the audience.  As such, I'm not a fan of it in the slightest.

  5. Whether you like Mr. Enter's videos or not, there is one thing we must all remember about this news:  Viacom did not do this to protect their property, which is what copyright law is supposed to be used for.  Instead, they did it out of their own pure childish tantrum over someone daring to say something bad about their shows.  Mr. Enter's reviews were perfectly under fair use and Viacom is aware of it.  They just don't want anyone with any semblance of popularity saying bad things about any of their shows, even if said shows deserve it. They may not be able to get at the big, professional critics, but they can easily crush a mere YouTube channel with a reasonable following.  So beware, my friends who might try to review anything associated with Viacom:  Viacom despises free speech and will stop at nothing to destroy you if you say anything negative about their shows and it gets attention.

Sorry about the little rant. I'm tired of seeing comments on YouTube of people saying they're "happy" Mr. Enter's channel was taken down because they personally didn't like his reviews.  Apparently someone deserves to have their rights violated if they make content you don't enjoy.

  6. The only thing funnier than the video is the comments    Take a look, folks, it's a gold mine down there.

On a serious note, is this guy for real or is he just trying to get attention?  I spend a lot of time on YouTube and I can sense a troll channel a mile away.  Some channels are one hundred percent devoted to pissing off religious people, atheists, feminists, or any group of people you can think of who already get some crap.  On the other hand (or hoof), then there's people who are dead serious when they post videos about how women having rights is making men "soft" or how homosexuals are ruining America (sadly, I've seen videos that are very much to either effect).  Hard to tell which camp someone is in because some people are just that misinformed and unintelligent.

  7. Because of the whole thing about there not being romance in the show (or at least not a lot of it).  In nearly every cartoon I've watched in my lifetime, males and females were only allowed to be friends if it was going to eventually develop into a romantic relationship.  It has been well-established in fiction that any female friends will eventually fall in love with their male friends, and vice versa, by the end of the series, unless they're related.  It's annoying and cliche as hell, but its a trope that appears in a lot of cartoons.  It's very rare for me to find a cartoon where males and females are allowed to remain as mere friends without any romantic implications whatsoever.

  8. Hopefully it's as good as the first two and, like the second one, expands on the story a little.  Especially as this is likely the last game in the series.  There's absolutely no reason for there to be a fourth or fifth game, so I hope Scott is smart about this and stops with the third.

  9. Even though I'm an adult now, I still like to sleep with something.  It used to be a teddy bear, but once I bought my first MLP:FIM plushie I abandoned Mr. Teddy xD  I now sleep with my Fluttershy plushie, which is the only MLP:FIM plushie I currently have.

  10. A few things, actually:

    1.  Cancel the series without warning or a proper finale.

    2.  Everypony gets a coltfriend out of nowhere for absolutely no reason.

    3.  The characters are flanderized to the extreme (ex.  Rarity becomes a super-feminine damsel in distress and stereotypical girly girl).

    4.  Flash Sentry marries Twilight.  And, to make matters worse, he's given even LESS personality than he had in either movie.

    5.  The show completely abandons Lauren Faust's vision and devolves into a ridiculously girly, pink-laced world with absolutely no conflict whatsoever, constant references to pop culture and boy bands, and characters whose only goal in life is to make cupcakes and kiss cute bo--  Excuse me for a minute, I need to throw up  :eww:

    6.  It is revealed that Princess Celestia is Twilight's real mother........even though that messes up a whole host of continuity and canon.

    7.  Hasbro releases a soundtrack of MLP: FIM songs.......all sung by Justin Bieber.

    8.  All the background characters are given canon personalities.....and Vinyl Scratch hates dubstep!  BLASPHEMY!!!

    9.  Hasbro claims that they invented the term "Brony" and therefore own it.   :okiedokielokie:

  11. I'd shake my head sadly and never watch the show again.  It pisses me off when writers assume that the only way to appeal to adults is to saturate their episodes with as much sex, drug references, etc. as possible.  The reason I like MLP:FIM is because the humor is simple, the storylines are interesting, and it can appeal to people of all ages as a result.  The writers understand that you don't need sex and massive violence to pull in an adult audience.  If the writers suddenly abandoned that mindset entirely and went the same route as shows like "Brickleberry" and "Mr. Pickles", that would be the end for me.  Few things could redeem the show in my eyes if they did that.

  12. Unfortunately, I doubt there would be "no violence, no racism", etc.  The truth is that, even though a lot of Bronies do try to "love and tolerate", the simple fact is that the Brony fandom is massive and it's made up of all kinds of people, just like any other fandom.  Not all Bronies take the lessons from the show to heart.  Some of the fandom are blatant hypocrites or racist, sexist, homophobic (which is ironic, considering the stereotype surrounding the fandom having to do with homosexuality).  I'm sure at some point there'd be some kind of war of Bronies vs. Cloppers, with the Bronies that absolutely cannot stand cloppers battling against the cloppers themselves and those who support them.  And be aware that some Bronies and/or pegasisters despise other Bronies and/or pegasisters.  It's not very common, but I have seen people claiming to be in the fandom stating that they hate the fandom as a whole or certain aspects of it.  Giving Bronies their own place to live is about the same as giving homosexuals their own island, an idea someone actually proposed:  It wouldn't accomplish anything and it suggests that the group is somehow a race that should be isolated from others.

  13. I wondered about this when I recalled my first ever Markiplier video (which happened to be "My Little Foundation").  During one of the videos in the series concerning that game, Mark mentions that he's not a Brony and he will never watch the show.  It sprang to my mind that he probably just saved himself from a bunch of people unsubscribing to him with that sentence.  Considering how Bronies sometimes get treated on forums (being banned for having a pony icon, for example), I imagine it would cause a major stink if a popular YouTuber declared he or she had joined the herd.  So, opinions? And please don't say "If they don't like them being a Brony, they'll just ignore it unless it pops up in their videos".  Sadly, that's not how the Internet works.  You can devote 99% of your channel to everything else under the sun, but if a pony pops up anywhere there's going to be hate comments.  I've seen the comments posted on some major YouTube channels that made one (literally ONE) video concerning ponies, as opposed to their thousands concerning other stuff.  Needless to say, there was much swearing and cursing those "dang-blasted pny fgts fr infectin evrything!!!".

  14. Morty from "Rick and Morty", although he'd probably hide it.  I can imagine him sitting in his room with his computer, relaxing with some pony videos after a long day of adventures.  After all the messed up, bizarre stuff he's seen on a daily basis, I'm sure he'd like something as relatively "normal" as talking ponies having magical adventures.  Rick would of course know about Morty's love for the show, but he would be totally indifferent to it.

Chris from "Dan Vs".  Obvious reasons.  And Dan himself, although he'd pretend to hate it.

L from "Death Note".  Imagine the first official encounter with him in the series, except his room is filled with pony merchandise and he has music from the show playing while they all discuss the Kira case

Mordecai from "Regular Show". Rigby would probably mock him endlessly for it, but Mordecai wouldn't care and would just keep watching the show.

Tootie from "The Fairly OddParents".  A small ray of sunshine in a world ruled by her evil sister.

Steve from "American Dad".  Secretly, of course, because his father would probably freak out over it.  Hailey would be the one person who knows and she'd agree not to tell because she likes the show as well.  The two of them might even watch it together when everyone else is out.

Steven from "Steven Universe".  He seems like the kind of guy who'd like to watch ponies.  The Gems would probably be confused

Anais from "The Amazing World of Gumball".  She's shown to love ponies.  Gumball and Darwin, however, absolutely despise ponies, as seen in the episode where they have to rent a movie about ponies for their sister.  Also Carrie, since she confessed to liking the pony movie after watching it by accident.  But she would be hesitant to admit it to herself because she's a goth.

  15. There are a lot of really good fan-made games, like My Little Foundation: Containment is Magic and My Little Investigations.  Both of these are really BIG projects that took months or years to complete.  Thinking of them made me wonder:  Why isn't there a Rainbow Factory game?  The story presents the perfect storyline for a horror game.  The way I see it, it could be like this:

You, the player, are Scootaloo escaping from the Rainbow Factory.  You have to navigate through the facility without being caught by any of the guards.  If a guard sees you, he or she will chase you and you have to either hide or (later in the game when you find a weapon) fight back.  It's your basic horror game, except instead of blood splattered everywhere there's puddles of rainbows.  To escape, you have to go through every floor until you find the exit.  As well as the guards, there's Rainbow Dash herself, who pops up when you're near the end of the floor and tries to stop you.  Since you can't beat her in combat or hide from her, your only chance of survival is to get to the exit before she catches you.  Once you see the exit, you'll only have a few seconds to react before she spots you.  But once you get into the elevator, you're safe until the next floor.  There are also a lot of imprisoned foals all over the facility.  You don't HAVE to rescue them, but the more foals you rescue the higher chance you have of getting the good ending.  The good ending is where you escape and destroys the Rainbow Factory in the process.  The bad ending is where you are just about to escape, but Rainbow Dash grabs you at the last minute and you get a cut scene of Scootaloo being killed.

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea how to make a game like this, but hopefully some people in the fandom realize the potential.  So, what do you guys think of my premise?  Anything you want to add?  Would you play a game like this?
