Hi everyone.
I'd just like to tell you about some issues we've been having with the ipad verion of the game since the Everfree Forest update. I'd come in to the forum to have a browse at whats happenning and read that people are having issues with the game rolling back, and said to my wife 'i'm glad thats not happenning to us'.
A few days after that it did, and it hasn't stopped.
Gameloft restored our game after 3 days with significantly less gems and bits as that was the save they had. Oh well, we're reached level 90 and we can live with that although we'd lost over 700,000 bits and almost 50 gems. At least the games back, right?
Over the past few weeks its become much more frequent, We had been in the situation on at least 2 occaisions to easily win a pony in events but the rollbacks took that away from us. On the 7th February we started doing our own backups in cloud but that hasn't helped with the past 24 hours giving us 8 rollbacks to the start. It's now everytime we try to go back into the app. My 5 year old is freaking out.
On the 12th February we purchased a tiny gem pack to complete a purchase for Aunt Applesauce (whom we were in line to win in an event before one of the rollbacks) and then it crashed again. We contacted Gameloft and received the reply....
'Please send a screen shot that shows proof of the purchase you have made. we'll be waiting for your relpy.' Nadya.
Who the heck takes a screen shot shot of an in game purchase of gems? If you do you need help. Honestly Gameloft, the millions you're making every week are not enough that you have to ask for a screen shot of a $2.49 purchase? Get a grip.
We have now received a total of 5 different game restores, none of which last very long before it crashes. I know our situation is not unique, with the amount of players it's probably happening to thousands. Therein lies the problem, this product is faulty and people are making purchases in good faith expecting that they are going to get what they're paying for. i don't know about anyone else but we haven't been offered anything in regard to compensation....... Absolutely nothing. On top of all this we haven't been able to connect to friends to share hearts for months.
On a side note i'm also going to post this in Gamelofts forum among the 100's of other posts about how bad this game has been performing.
Massive fail guys, massive fail.
