So, lately I got the idea of creating a exploration, dungeon crawling based RP with some "not of this world" enemies. For now, I got this idea: 4 characters have been hired by an archaeologist to explore a pyramid made of gold and black obsidian with four shorter pillars around it. Inside, the group will be trapped and, getting deeper, will find a mysterious, crimson colored icosahedron that... speak to them. The voice says that he knows the exit, but is located deeper in the pyramid, but for getting out, they must help it back: the hexagon is the key, and they must follow what i say. But... will be that a good thing ? What you think ?

Goal

<< yeah !>> Rockshield pumped himself and started to speak into a grossly heroic tone << let's show those Titans what true equestrians warriors are made of !>> No one said a word. There was just a very awkward silence. << ... yeah, uh... Captain ? What should we do and... go ?>>

Is a sign of your rank in the Radiant Sun Order, and then what should I use to protect me from, I don't know... fire and other kind of weapons ?>> asked back Rockshield to Rose, while grunting a bit and pulling off the cape for putting up his heavy armor. << I'm not really practical on modern stuff, they don't cover enough body parts, and are so terribly plate to even watch. Now, are you some kind of knight or soldier ?>>

<< Maybe I should take off my armor. I want to wear it properly .>> And with quick movements, Rockshield took off the upper part of his heavy, thic armor. under it, he was wearing a chainmail and so the rest of the group could see his more horse-like muzzle. The cape on rockshield looked a bit shorter then expected, but now that he could feel it, it was realy confortable and pretty. << Well, may me be damned. It is well manufactured !>>

<< Well...>> Rockshield pulled one of his hooves hout of his armor, and touched the cape. It was very soft and warm. << Indeed, my friend. But... this experiment of yours... last time one experimented with strange juju things I ended with my mane all burned .>>

Rockshield jumped by the surprised, without knowing what his new friend wanted to do . << Hey w-what are you doing ?>>

(sorry) << Hm, I see .>> Rockshield said. Then the stallion watched Clyrossa.<< now, uh... what should we do ?>>

Rockshield aproached Techno, looking at her cape. << Hm... what a peculiar protection you have there . Tell me, what kind of things can do ?>>

<< Hah, I'm sure a Titan will be not stronger then a Ancient Dragon. And is a while my shield don't parry something of his might .>> Rockshield lifted his shield and prepared himself for the hit. The shield was covering all of him, and in his head, he gigled. << Come on, Captain: show me what a "titan" is capable of.>> Clyssora started to levitate at midair, and charged her horn, emitting so a blinding light. Then, she shotted a mighty magic arrow, more powerful then any recorded and so strong that the impact on the shield created a huge, thunderous explosion that shaked the ground. When the cloud of dust and smoke disappeared, everyone saw Rockshield at 4 meters from where he was, and the shield was still intact. Contrary to what was around there, burned and incinerated . << Well, Captain .>> started saying from behind his shield the stallion, while lifting and walking towards Clyssora.<< I think I was wrong. Not even Dagghart's magic and fists where that might, but I'm happy to have you on my side for fighting this... monsters.>> And so, he bowed with a respect only a knight should demonstrate. << And remind me to never bother you, ok ?>>

@Sir Xarthas VI @Techno Universal Rockshield was listening in silence her captain's story, and was amazed by the age of the alicorn and her knowledge about Titans. Then, he felt that was time to present to the rest. Without any sign of fatigue, he literaly planted his enormus shield of rock on the ground, and started to speak with his deep voice muffled by his helm. << Well then. As may or may not know already, I am Rockshield, send by the royal order of the Radiant Sun as your shield and expert in enemy crushing . Now, I don't know what a titan is, Captain, but I bet his head isn't harder then a dragon .But most importantly...>> with his left hoof, the stallion pointed it at Techno, and with a confused look asked:<< what in Dagghart's name is a human ?>>

"Ugh, should have known to wake up earlier ." thought Rockshield, while trying to figure out where the meeting point was . While walking in what should've been the right direction, he started feel embarrassed by his situation and for not being clever enough for asking directions or finding someother of the group in Canterlot to walk with. Clearly, orientation wasn't his speciality. "I bet the rest of them is already there... I know I'm near there... I think ." Without another good idea, Rockshield was ready to call the rest of the group, shouting, but for fortune's sake, he managed to see them, already speaking to them. Without any second to loose, he started to accelerate his walking .

Hey there to all. I was thinking for the future to make a RP, but I need help for some tips about actually not for creating the "backstory" of the RP, but most for understand to guide a RP, since I'm new to this kind of... stuff ? Game ? Multi-hand story ? Anyway, I have in mind the story of this RP, the villain and what should happen, but I really get into anxiety thinking of actually start it, since I don't know what a DM should do. I'm actually reading other's open RPs to understand how RPing goes, but, long question shorts: how the DM and the Player(s) decide what to do? does they send MPs to each others or find themselves on the internet (or just in the OOC section) ? They post the ACTUAL action in the RP section and discuss in the OOC section what will happen to their characters ? Yeah, I'm just that confuse about RPing. any kind of help is welcomed.
