  1. Watched part 2 and 3 of friday the 13th.

I would say Part 2 was better than the first one with a bit more action going on, but the ending sucked and kinda ruined the experience. It didnt feel like they really defeated Jason in the first place, so the Cliffhanger is kinda annoying, since there was no payoff to begin with.

Thankfully though i watched the third part right after, which not only was even more intense and engaging ( hope that word is spelled correctly, cant take a look while on phone ) to watch but also introduced Jasons Hockey Mask.

However i am greatly disappointed that they didnt include a scene in which he puts on the mask, he just wears it at some point. I mean it is shown where the mask comes from but i still wish we would have seen it when he puts on the mask for the first time seeing how iconic it got.

However the ending is way better than the second part, part 3 is overall my favorite one at the moment followed by part 1.

  2. I fullfilled a long dream of mine and finally started to watch the Friday the 13th Franchise, starting with the first one from 1980, since you can buy them pretty cheaply on Amazon Prime now instead of overprized collector Dvds for hundreds of dollars.

I enjoyed the first Movie, even though it really feels like a Halloween ripoff at times, but the movie had suspense and like i expected an interesting end fight.

I was entertained, looking forward to watching the second one. :fluttershy:

Silent hill 2 is far too overrated and pyramid head is a lame monster.

Also, silent hill 4 is way better and scarier and has an overall more interesting plot than 2.

And here i was thinking i was the only one that thinks this way.

I actually go a step further and say Silent Hill 2 is easily the worst in the series for me, even one of the worst Horror Games i have ever played.I think the story is predictable and has nothing to do with Silent Hill, the Otherworlds that exists in practically every other SH game are here pretty pathetic or nonexistend, i find it boring that every Monster looks like a human, the game design overall has way to much of the color grey in it and it is basically just a more frustrating running back and forth than it was in Silent Hill 1.

Overall Silent Hill 2 is not my game at all and i have never played a more boring Survival Horror game and even though some fans wanted to convince me otherwise by saying the game and monsters look the way they are because of their symbolic meaning: Okay, thats nice and all but sorry, i still find this game to be boring looking even if the boring looks make sense.

I am sorry i just dont feel it with this game. :worry:

However, i do think the Silent Hill Historical Society Level is pretty awesome, i just wish more of the game would have been as weird as that one, also i have to give the game credit for basically inspiring Silent Hill - The Arcade, which is a pretty neat spinoff in my eyes, so thanks for that one. :fluttershy:

The Maria Bonus scenario also wasnt that bad even though i dont understand why they didnt used the Directors Cut Version they got greenlight as a chance for adding the missing Other Worlds that they apparently lost due to a power outtage, what a wasted opportunity the basically unchanged Directors Cut is. :okiedokieloki:

  5. I used the chapter selection a few times, mostly on DVDs on which Episodes are broken due to scratches on the Disc for example, than i would skip the broken part and open the next chapter.

I actually had the broken Episodes thing quite often on my DVDs, since for most DC Shows i have to buy Import DVDs which are not always compatible to Pal DVD Systems, even when the seller says it should work.

I would buy everything online of course, but i cant even do that since a lot of DC stuff is still only available on america-only streaming sides or not available at all. :okiedokieloki:
