  1. For the longest time Twilight was always best pony. I most identified with her and my favorite color is purple. Then, somehow... Rarity is best pony. I fell in love with her character over the past season and she's absolutely my fave by far. I appreciate all the mane 6 for their strengths but Rarity gets me. Her personality, her mane, the voice, her dramatic antics... LOVE her!

  2. I was wondering about Twilight's height as well. I think she looks noticeably taller in some shots and the same height in others. I'm not really sure what is going on but I think it would make sense if she did become a little more proportional to other alicorns.

  3. Where can these awesome MLP plushies be ordered from? I absolutely adore them and MUST collect them all or else I'll die a thousand deaths. A little dramatic, but it gets the point across. :-)

  4. I've never understood why ponies rarely have cutie marks on both sides. It doesn't make any sense. I'm glad Funko is correcting that. Cutie marks or not, Funko makes the best ponies by far. I love their cartoon accurate style. It's also nice that their not too expensive and the ponies are nice sized.

  5. wow! ok today i want from feeling like the luckiest brony ever to being the saddest brony ever in a matter of moments. i went to Toys R Us today and what do i see on the shelf, Funko Spitfire and Bon Bon!!! i snatched them up and went to the checkout. when i get there they wont scan so she calls her manager... the manager sais they cant sell them because they shoulden't be on the shelves until 9/9/13. i must have looked like this no__don__t_cry__lyra___it__s_too_sad____by_cthulhuandyou-d4gpa5r.png on the plus side she is holding them for me until they can be sold.

so i can give everyone this info. the street date is 9/9/13. n it dose say Sweet Drops on her box not Bonbon. also Spitfire looks really cool she has this very cocky expression on her face that's just perfect. n we can assume the next release will be Octavia and DJ-Pon3 together.

(i had to edit this because ether i was blinded by excitement n missed the name on the box or there are variant boxes but i was probably blinded by excitement).

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I even tried other TRU stores and got the same treatment. I was persistent and eventually did get my BonBon and Spitfire. These Funko ponies are way cool. Definitely my favorite pony merchandise to collect. :-)

  6. My top three ponies have always been Twilight, Fluttershy, and Pinkie. Well, until recently. After rewatching the series with my fiance, Rarity has inched her to the top as well. I can't pick a single pony but Rainbow and Apple are definitely my least fave. I don't connect with them.

  7. They look pretty cool: I'd like to buy some of those as I loved the Equastia Girls movie was pretty aewsome

What store did you see the dolls in?

I found them at Toys R Us. The rest I ordered online from Target so I'm good to go. I can't wait to get them! I also ordered the bluray. :-)

  8. I'd really like to collect some of these Funko figures! I've seen Funko sold around my area, but no MLP figure yet sad.png

Are these going to be the future bobble-head figures? The look really cute in the illustrations, but I just can't translate it to real life... I'm very curious as to how they'll turn out.

(I found this image on google btw)

    ADORABLE!!!

  9. Guild Wars 2 is a great innovative game. I love that I can pick it up and leave it when I want without worrying about monthly fees. I play or don't play and I don't suffer either way. It's a great feeling. I love all the characters and classes. The game is simply beautiful to stare at. I'm thinking of starting up another character and so if I do, I'll drop my information here so I can buddy up with my fellow bronies.

  10. Behold the entire reason why this mishap happened in the first place. All hail the toy giant that is Hasbro. Hooray for blatant marketing ploys.

I don't understand this attitude. The show isn't ruined, the episode was arguable rushed, but good, and a movie is on its way that is full of possibilities. What happened to bronies being positive and supportive like Twilight and her best friends are of one another? Can't we enjoy this little show for what it is and not try to ruin it for others? I know you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not happy about all the negativity leaking in to the brony fandom.

  11. First, I just want to say I'm not an angsty, depressed teenager looking for affirmation or anything of the sort. I'm a grown man with a wife, a house, a successful career, and a love for nostalgia and good TV shows.

As I said when I introduced myself to the forum one week ago, I just recently discovered MLP:FiM and the community that had grown around it. When I decided to embrace the show and the concept of being a brony, I realized that, to me, it was something beautiful. It made me feel like a kid again. It was something I wanted to share with others, to be a part of, because I realized it had had a profound impact on me.

I referred to discovering this forum as feeling like I'd moved to a new town, with new, friendly neighbors to meet and get to know. (Thanks, Sesame Street. :P)

But over the last few days, I've read at least a dozen topics over Hasbro shutting down Fighting is Magic, people claiming the show's going downhill (particularly because of Alicorn Twilight), and that the community is fracturing and dying. I'm seeing a ton of negativity, bitterness and drama. And like with all such things, it's not just much ado about nothing, but it feels like a big blow. I understand people poured their hearts into Fighting, and I understand people are concerned the show will change drastically with Twilight's apparent ascension. But at the same time, the backlash on both these fronts is turning fans against each other. And I apparently happened to walk right into the middle of it.

Did I just choose a particularly bad time to join the fandom or something? By all indications, things were going pretty well even just a few weeks ago. But honestly, it feels like half the topics on this forum (that aren't just fluff) are turning quite bitter. It feels very hostile to a brand-new brony like myself, who really just wants to make friends.

I'm a pretty reserved person, emotionally, and to the best of my knowledge, I'm emotionally and mentally stable. But when I discovered this fandom, I was elated - it really did feel awesome and wonderful. And less than a week later, I feel like crying. I hardly ever have this happen.

    I hope it passes.

I appreciate your thoughtful post. I think many have noticed this epidemic but it's important to realize this is par the course any time there is change. It doesn't matter what the subject matter is, human beings always fear for the worst. Alicorn Twilight could end up being the best thing that ever happened to the show, but we won't know until it happens. Freaking out doesn't help anyone at all. Try to ignore the negativity and concentrate on the positive. MLP is still a great show and has one of the best fan bases EVER. We aren't dying, we aren't fractured, we're just going through the motions. It's always a little rough but the bumpy ride is worth it for the eventual embrace of change. Hang in there everypony! *hug*

  12. Even though I don't understand or even want to understand the whole clopping thing, I very much believe we should all live and let live. As long as no one is being hurt, why should it matter what someone else does with their free time? Some people probably think I'm a freak for being a grown ass man who watches MLP. So what?

  13. I honestly think that the "clopper" side of the fandom is creepy. Sorry, I do. That's just me. However, I don't let it bother me because it's not my business and not something I can control. So long as we can get along and accept our differences, all is well. You don't have to like everything that others do, just tolerate it. I know my opinion may ruffle feathers, but I feel I am entitled to it, so mod if you must.
