  1. The opinion of a hater should never factor in to what makes you happy. It would be like letting someone tell you what your favorite color is. Only YOU can decide what is right for yourself. Why waste time with topic after topic devoted to things that don't matter? Just do your thing and don't worry about the rest.

  2. Sorry about that I didn't mean that to be offensive in anyway i respect homosexuals.

Basically my parents hate Bronies period and that sucks for me.

I totally get that. I knew you meant well. Tricky wording is all. I don't understand why anyone hates something that has no effect on their personal lives. Doesn't make any sense. -_-

  3. You know all my parents think all the old people who use this sites must be pedophiles or homosexuals which is very Stereotypical of them i wish they'd understand that "Normal" people use this site too both young and old!

I know you didn't mean to offend, and I'm not offended per say, it just teeters on the border of offensive for us normal homosexuals. ;)

  4. Ummm I am 18 years young if that counts as old.............................................What's that? I have to be honest? DARN IT!!!!!!!!!!

I am actually 29 1/2 years old with a Birthday coming up in December. This forum does tend to bring fourth a lot of younger Bronies. But there is no specific age that you have to stop being a Brony. I am probably gonna be a Brony my whole life. God I feel soooooo Old right now. Let me tell you this it's gonna be a sad day when I turn 30.

How come? I actually thought it was cool when I turned 30. I still feel the same, look young, and am technically still a young man. I embrace my age fully. I've learned and become who I am today thanks to all those years that came before. Youth is awesome but I would never want to return to my teens or even early 20's, because I was so unsure of everything back then. I like being a confidant, pony lovin' adult. :)

  5. I'm a owner of many dogs and cats and I can say without question that cats are perfectly capable of having strong bonds with their human owners and expressing loving attachment. They think and feel just as any other mammal does, just not the same as us humans. That's our problem, we try to humanize everything. Are cats more independent than dogs? Most of the time, but even so I have known some very clingy cats. It's really all up to individuality, because just like with humans, animals differ wildly in personality. I've always felt cats get the short end of the stick when it comes to love and appreciation in the pet owner world, and this topic helps demonstrate that. To the topic creator, if you met the right cat, I have no doubt your perception of them would change.

  6. MLP rightfully has a ton of young fans, but are there any bronies out there like myself who are of the older persuasion? I turned 31 in August and vividly remember watching G1 when I was a little boy in kindergarten. Just curious.

  7. I kept hearing and seeing things about this show. Memes were showing up EVERYWHERE. At one point, Gagadaily (a big Lady Gaga fan site) started using pony emoticons. I simply had to check it out so I downloaded the entire first season. It was currently in an off season before the second. I fell in love and was so impressed with the animation and most importantly, the characters and world in which they live. MLP was successfully rebooted and vastly improved itself over its former incarnations. That's not an easy feat. So, in other words, I was super happy and enjoying the pony ride. Still am to this day. B)

  8. I am not a hardcore drinker but I do enjoy the occasional drink or two. My fave is Midori. That stuff is like candy but has a rather high alcohol content. And it's such a pretty green color. As far as taking shots or anything like that, I have personally come to the conclusion that whiskey is the only way to go. Vodka doesn't settle with my stomach very well when I shoot it and it sits there like a foul tasting rock whereas whiskey does it's damage and quickly leaves my taste buds. Hennessy all the way. B)

  9. I have plenty of things that bother or annoy me but mostly ignorance because it's what leads to all the evil in the world (bigotry, etc). Know-it-alls, rude, hypocrital, pushy, snobby and materialistic people bother me to no end. As a gay dude, homophobes who hide behind the old and out of date bible to which no one can live up to and use religion as a weapon to hate and discrimate SUCK ass! The list could go on and on but I choose not to dwell on it too much because negativity is also something that bugs me. This world has far too much negativity. The internet is especially filled with it. Those internet types that hate on everyone and everything and act as if their own poo doesn't stink really sets my buns on fire. So yeah, that's about it I think in a nutshell.

  10. Nope. I am me. Always. That sometimes gets me in trouble. I'm very open and honest about things and typically unafraid and unapologetic in my opinions. That doesn't always work in my favor and can rub people the wrong way. Even so, I've learned it's always best to be yourself. I don't want to make it sound like I'm a hardass, because I'm not. I'm generally a very nice and compassionate person. It's just that I refuse to put up with BS or be treated unfairly by ANYONE.

  11. Why does anyone really need to tell or confess they are a brony to anyone, let alone parents? Unless you want to. I don't understand why so many seem so concerned with what others think of them and their likes. Who cares? You're opinion is the only one that counts. As a gay man, I learned that lesson. You can only live the life that makes you happy and you don't have to share everything with everyone, unless you want to. It's up to you. Basically, do what feels right for you and to hell with the rest. Ya know?

  12. The person who installs it is the only person who can actually see it. So it's visible only on your own computer. :)

Oh, that's pretty cool then. I'd like it for my own personal laptop but not for the entire world to see. No, not because I'm embarrassed but simply because there is more to me than ponies.
