You can't post in the Canterlot Castle, nor can any other member that isn't staff here, IIRC, as it's only for announcements and updates. I'm sure that whatever topic you wanted to make, there is a relevant section for it somewhere on these forums; what was the topic you had in mind about, may I ask? Maybe we can find the appropriate section for it to be posted in for you.
