Is it okay if I say: neither? Because internet friendship can go pretty far, even to a loving relationship with some time, like in real life (well, that girl is an exception, she's exceptional)... but then,  real life friends are really special, you get to see, touch, really interact with the person, and that's really special; something you don't have with internet friends

I don't think there is much to say about them, maybe that's the reason? I mean, they're unicorns, parents of a prince and an alicorn princess... they may be skilled in magic, explaining their children's facility with it, but apart from that... even so, the other parents made a pretty minor appearence each, sooo it's maybe not THAT important you know?

I know it's an old topic, but DB is my love... and no, Tirek is barely close to Master Roshi, this old dude destroys the Moon and moves at super sonic speed (read the fight against Krillin in the early manga, you'll see); Tirek doesn't stand a chance

Sometimes adults can't help but look too deeply into something meant to be simply, light-hearted and meant for children. Everyone speaks English because if they didn't it would overcomplicate things. Rest assured, if MLP had the characters speaking some alien language, the charm would have been lost.

Some people (not me I swear ... or? :DD) just like to complicate things What, it's not because it's a children's show that we can't talk about multiverses... right?

Might the idea of the 'multiverse' theory be an option? Being that one specific choice was made and bled out? There's nothing that says that while you could watch it in one language, the exact same thing is happening in another language, with the same consequences? *looks around  worried* I've jumped ship havn't I( and didn't quite understand then question?)

That could be true if we think of it with the multiverse theory... but then, it would be very hard for the exact same thing to happen in another language, because it means that the first ponies or species whould have had to learn another language than english from the beggining of their existence to understand each other, and that would change these universes farrrr too much for the exact same thing to happen in another language... I consider that by imagining the show, the creators "created " this multiverse with one specific language to the ponies, english. Yeah, I love to think that every show/movie/series already happened in a separate multiverse each, and that the creators just thought of the exact same thing... I know I'm weird :3 

Facility for screenplay; because what, you don't expect them to create a whole show you don't understand, do you?

I almost thought that "artificial" alicorns aren't immortal, and this brings another question: are Celestia and Luna natural alicorns? I recall Celestia saying that wasn't any natural alicorn birth known to date in Equestria (I think that's what she said), but I can't recall if they existed before or after Equestria... if it's before, then I think they're natural Alicorns and live a very long time (without immortality), but not the artificial ones who live normally, and if they existed after Equestria, then as they are like Twilight and Cadance, Artificial alicorns live a very long time (without immortality) but we don't know about natural alicorns :33

Well, technically it's a magic show, I think in MLP it's to show the level of your "show magic" or "stage magic" (how Starlight talked about it in their episode), so it's not for hiding her magic I think, on the contrary, she wants to be better at magic... :3

Yeah they surely can, by taking your exemple in Winter Wrap Up, Twilight was a bit far from AJ I remember, and her horn wans't glowing that much; imagine this situation being in the snow and all, I think I understand why AJ didn't see a thing :3
