@Gabriel@Denim&Venom@Acnologia@Drago Ryder Lektra Bolt, Early Afternoon, Command Center, Castle of Friendship I finished his sentence after he seemed to settle down a bit in excitement. "And Wendigos." Little did he know, those were the giant constructs that were everyone's fighting machines. "Speaking of which, let me welcome you formally to the Power Rangers: Harmony Force." I patted his head with my left forehoof as I got out of my command chair. "As you can no doubt see, you are the Green Harmony Ranger, and according to the instruments attached to the Morphing Grid portal crystal it has created the Green Timberwolf Zord for you using Bolt Solutions Magitek." He would meet it later, as well as get his weapon. "There is one other thing I would like to show you, but please promise you won't throw up like I did. It's um, disturbing and not for the faint of heart." I then turned to Sparky. "Sparky please show him what happened just before we met." Sparky beeped and whirred in affirmation, spinning his head around as he made a projection of earlier events. Just as it was finished, the alarm went off. All around the Command Center multicolored lights went off. I facehooved. Great, what else could go wrong? "Trouble in Baltimare Museum." I looked at the alarm Magitek holo panel and the timestamp as the information began to come in. "This happened a half hour ago?!" I turned to Sparky. "Why are we just getting this now?!" Sparky beeped and whirred, turning his head around as he explained. "You silenced the alarm before we left and it went off a second time just now? Why would you do this?" I turned to Rocky as Sparky beeped and whirred, apologizing for his mistake. "I'm sorry about this. I hope you're not too traumatized by what you saw, because you're needed right now." I turned to the console and the Viewing Crystal, pulling up the location of the request for help and it's exact coordinates. "We're needed, all of us. You'll soon meet the others, the ponies you saw in the projection." I then opened the comm channel to the others, passing them the location coordinates and local police department reaction, which wasn't good. Their Morpher Bracelets should make a magical holo projection of the map and the location in distress. The situation there wasn't good at all. "Rangers! A guard at Baltimare Museum was recently attacked by something, and eye witness reports are inconclusive. The guard was covered in crystal, consistent with use of an Obsidian Orb. Whatever it is is probably on the loose as we speak. Exercise caution, as those things were able to immobilize the Princesses. Hopefully it's similar and not actually an Obsidian Orb, as that was exclusive to the Storm Forces." I paused and showed them some scenes from the city, showing some blocks around the museum had damage. My tiny scout constructs had arrived on the scene but were unable to find the source of the disturbance. The Rangers would have to find it on their own. "The Obsidian Corps will have to be dealt with quickly, as there isn't much time to waste. Your new companion and I will take some Magibots with us. Try to meet us there ASAP." I paused and sighed, closing the call after giving the new mission briefing. This was a lot for Rocky to process all at once, and I trusted Luster to handle the situation at the old refinery until they had finished their current mission and transported to join us. Turning to Rocky I sighed. "I'm sorry to thrust you into things like this right after viewing a sad event that you know I threw up after, but you're needed. It's time to be a hero. Any questions before we had over to Baltimare Museum?" -

@Gabriel Lektra Bolt, Early Afternoon, Las Pegasus I bowed my head to Rocky apologetically. "I'm sorry. I really have to apologize to you. I know this is all very confusing and sudden. How we met so randomly and what I was just doing. You probably have many questions, and I promise it will all be answered very soon." I tapped my Morpher Bracelet in the 'recall' motion with my left hoof on my right, setting it for Plus One and grabbing onto Rocky. "Hold onto your lunch!" Sparky was always included in my teleportations unless things needed to go otherwise. Sparky and I were enveloped in a golden light while Rocky was enveloped in white since he didn't have his powers yet. Command Center, Castle of Friendship Sparky, Rocky, and I appeared in the middle of the Command Center, with Magitek lights dancing across the walls decoratively. My control console and chair was in the middle, as I also directed the Morphing Grid Crystal to go up from it's floor recession. I then turned to Rocky. "Welcome to the Command Center Rocky. You probably have many questions. Some of them will probably be answered by Sparky." I turned to Sparky. "Sparky please show him what happened here before with the others." Sparky beeped and whirred in affirmation, spinning his head around as he made a projection of earlier events. As the projection played out I just sat there in my control chair. Once that was finished Sparky switched off the projection and wheeled off, returning several moments later with a tray of refreshments from Sugarcube Corner and some Sweet Apple Acres Cider. "I know this is a lot to take in, but I need you to trust me and place your dominant hoof inside the portal in this crystal as they did. It's called the Morphing Grid." I'd field any questions he had after. The forces of evil don't rest. We didn't have a lot of time. There was one more thing I wanted to show him, what happened before we met, but that would happen after he joined in the program he signed up for -

@Gabriel Lektra Bolt, Midmorning, Castle of Friendship, Las Pegasus I raised an eyebrow at this and nodded. Clearly he was nervous. "Why no, no you're not in trouble. I'm wondering why you didn't show up earlier though, and we had to randomly bump into each other like this. Maybe the teleporter couldn't latch onto you before." I looked him over rather matter of factly. "It's nice to meet you Rocky. You probably met one of my marketing agents earlier so you know who I am, at least vaguely." I looked around at what he'd done with the place a second time. You'd never think I got sick here at all. Speaking of which, it might be good that I didn't leave yet. Heading out of the alley I levitated the picnic blanket over to Rocky to pick up, then heading back to the Old Folks Home again. "Come with me please Rocky, then we'll be on our way." Sparky rolled along behind me. I wanted to apologize to the attendant on duty but there seemed to be no need. As soon as I went in she came over to greet me. I raised an eyebrow at this. "Good that you're back, Miss." She shoved some forms in my face to sign. Grabbing it with my magic as well as the quil I started to unfold it. "What's this?" My eyes moved over the form. "A next of kin form? For five?" Oh no I hoped they weren't planning to do what I thought they were planning to do. "Mister Pomodoro and his companions want to name you their next of kin, and you will have unlimited visiting rights." She said, confirming my worst suspicions. I signed off in the right places, levitating it back for her to take back with a wing. "There you go." I said this with a smile that belied my sadness, already making calculations. It would be so much easier to get in here to get in range to 'steal' them away later. She gave me back an ID tag. "Wear this when you come back, and don't let me catch you coming in without one again." She said this with a well meaning but stern smile. "Do you understand? You could have startled somepony just wanting to enjoy themselves on the way out. We want them to be comfortable." "No no I completely get it. I'll be back later then." I said this as I levitated the ID into Sparky's storage compartment, motioning Rocky to come back to the alley. Hopefully this time I wouldn't decorate it, as I really wanted to both enjoy and digest the contents of my stomach. We'd be leaving for real this time, soon. -

@Crewman @Denim&Venom Sightly earlier, just as Rocky had finished cleaning up Lektra Sparky came whirring into view from the street, carrying a large Double Chocolate Fudge Cream Cake, chilled. It had absolutely zero non chocolate-based cake or batter ingredients in it, as Sparky knew this was the only thing in existence that could rouse his creator. Like Smelling Salts, but for her. Momentarily passing by the Earth Pony gentlecolt like he wasn't even there, Sparky moved by, whir-mumbling to himself. Noticing the excellently laid out eating environment he took the slice of cake and placed it to the side of the one he just brought, forcing it to her muzzle with a couple of comforting whirs as he then dunked her face into the side of the cake, with zero remorse whatsoever. After all, he had been asked to when things like this happened. Lektra Bolt, Midmorning, Castle of Friendship, Las Pegasus Star Swirl the Bearded. Everywhere. As far as the eye could see. I was in a paradise of a convention for the mage of old, having a fun time with my favorite pony. Just as we had decided to take a break and share a kiss, time slowed down. Twilight and I were leaning in to kiss passionately and I was anticipating and hoping for this the whole time, but then we both just stopped. I couldn't move as much as I wanted to. Couldn't move my eyes even. Then suddenly time moved again and all I smelled was my favorite cake and the sound of Sparky's whirring......... The effect was instantaneous. I groaned. "NO! Twilight! Kiss me! Don't stop!" I shook my head, fully awake. "Sparky? What?" looking around, regaining my composure and licking parts of cake off my face. I proceeded to do nothing but eat the cake slowly, noisily, but neatly without a crumb wasted. I then did the same with the slice of cake nearby. This took all of five minutes and was followed by a burp of satisfaction as I laid on my back. As I'd threw up what was most likely most of the contents of my stomach, I had been extremely hungry. Covering my mouth as I burped and relaxing from my brunch I finally spoke. "Oooop, excuse me sir. Sorry, not sorry." I winked at him with a giggle. Finally Sparky noticed the stallion. One could hear Sparky seemingly saying 'Who's this' as he proceeded to electrify his claws and move menacingly towards the gentlecolt with speed one wouldn't expect from something of that stature. I jumped between them just as he was about to do something not nice. "Sparky stand down!" Sparky was hesitant. "I said down! I'm fine, this gentlecolt seems to have saved my life." Not that he knew the way to wake me, but he did help out by cleaning me up, yuck I could still taste barf even after all this and my mouth was a bit dry, but he did clean me up and protected me in this helpless state. Speaking of which, I immediately got a reply from Luster, as if on time with what had happened. How much time had passed, exactly? Maybe the Morpher waited until I was up to hear it? Oh well, this pony heard the reply as well, not that he knew what it meant. I remembered everything that happened and frowned, my previously cheerful expression sullied. "Thanks. So who might you be sir, what are you doing here, and were you looking for some kind of reward?" I finally turned to the stranger, licking my lips of residual cake and frosting. Let's not tell him about what else was going on. Sparky whirred and bumped me. "What? I'm supposed to know him?" Now that he mentioned it, there was something about him. Sparky projected a small stack of papers in my face, the application our Ranger applicants filled out. I turned to the stallion, wondering if he knew anything about this or would recognize it, and the writing. The name was facing his face, not mine. Silly Sparky, I tisk tisked -

Lektra Bolt, Midmorning, Las Pegasus @Denim&Venom @Acnologia@Drago Ryder @Randimaxis @TBD @Buck Testa I appeared in an alleyway next to the casino and came out into a lazy morning town, ponies going about their day. I meant what I said, I was monitoring the situation. As Luster knew and the others were finding out, our Morphers also acted as communication devices. "An obsidian scythe waiting for enchantments you say? Why Clayton, you know that's what I do. If we have some downtime, we could probably get that upgraded for you." Their weapons weren't ready yet, so I hoped they knew how to fight. With help from Sparky and the Morphing Grid, I'd determined appropriate weapons for each. They were being tested in simulation still, and wouldn't be ready for a while. Maybe after this mission. Wouldn't everyone be excited to receive enchanted weapons? "Not that you'll need it." I added cryptically I was following the holomap Sparky was projecting and it led me across a couple of walkways, bumping into a couple of ponies on the way and apologizing profusely. I ended up at a well maintained building. There was a sign on the main entrance. 'Shuffling Hooves Retirement Home' I frowned in confusion. They were being held by old ponies? They had been dragged off kicking and screaming when they were captured. Why didn't they just escape? I headed in, my hooves clip-clop on the linoleum floor. There was a lavender Pegasus mare minding the front desk, elderly ponies relaxing and playing Bingo behind her, as well as some board games. This didn't look like a torture prison. "What's going on here?" I asked nopony in particular, looking around. She looked up at me, finally noticing me. "May I help you miss?" "Yes." I looked around in confusion as Sparky scanned around, pointing further in behind her and tugging my tail. "I'm looking for some friends of mine. Would you be able to help?" She pulled out a binder of names. "Sure, what's their name?" I was still confused. Why would teenagers be in a place like this? Where were their attitudes? Was my tracking system a dud? "Uhmmmm." I shuffled my hooves nervously. How do I tell her I had a magical means to track the previous Ranger team and was being told they were here? "Would you mind if I just look around?" She looked at me quizzically but didn't press further. "Sure, I'll supervise you." That wouldn't do. If my old friends were here working or something, we would need to talk privately. Someone who didn't have problems hearing could ruin the whole operation. But why in Celestia's name would they be working here? I motioned my eyes to Sparky to create a distraction. Sparky started to whir oddly and wave his claws, bumping into the table like he was damaged, knocking into the nurse and scattering her stack of papers. "Sparky cut it out." I scolded him, when really we had this kind of thing planned. "Oh dear, I need to pick this up." She said this as Sparky started to help her out. "You do that." I replied nonchalantly as I went out onto the floor, looking for any signs of the Rangers. Nothing. Just elderly ponies. I looked around, shuffling around completely confused. Nopony I recognized. That wasn't until I heard a wheezing voice of a stallion. "Lektra.......That.......You?" I turned towars his direction. He was in a wheelchair nearby, heading over. It looked like a Bolt Solutions model, in fact. Shades of green, with a stick control. He wore Magitek hearing aids in both ears. "Um yes sir, who might you be?" I bowed to him respectfully. He coughed and took a puff from an oxygen tank. I was still confused. "No need for the bow, as you'll soon see. But of course you don't recognize me. Why would you? Those buggers got us good." He could speak normally without wheezes now, his voice softer. Almost familiar. "No, should I?" I looked over the tan gray stallion with a red headband. Who is this? Red headband? Wait...... He spoke with a whisper into my ear, barely audible. "Magitek Source, Harmony Force." Then he ruffled what was left of his hair and moved his right forehoof with his Unicorn magic. It looked broken originally, and he wasn't moving it. On his hoof was a Morpher Bracelet, not unlike the one I wore. A Red gem, a dim crimson color signifying it was worthless and worn for decoration now, cracked and missing some pieces. Then he hid his hoof again under his blanket. "No........H.....How........" I let out a gasp. I knew right away who this was, but couldn't believe it. I was seeing it, but how could it be? I moved backwards, horrified. "Huck? Huck Pomodoro?" I tripped over myself and faceplanted, raising myself up slowly. I felt like I'd just gotten slapped in the muzzle and tripped on all hooves at once. He took a strained breath from his oxygen tank again. "It's me. You can stop being weird now. I held out hope beyond hope that if anypony could fix this, you could." He led me to a spare table. I sat down on a chair while he wheeled over. I could only say one word while raising an eyebrow. "Explain." I was too horrified and confused to say anything else. He took a puff of his oxygen tank again. "Not much to explain really, that I remember. You know I was dragged off by the cultists right? All of us were." I nodded, biting my lip. "Yes, and by the look of your Morpher you lost your powers." I was right that his powers had been reclaimed by the Morphing Grid, but that didn't explain the way he looked. "Are you under cover here? It's a very convincing disguise. Where are the others? Are they ok?" "Well there's more, and that depends on what you mean by ok. We're not dead if that's what you're asking, but this is definitely not a disguise." He took a puff from his oxygen tank again, a stray tear escaping his right eye. "I very much wish it was." I gasped, almost falling out of my chair. "How?" The full realization hit me like a ton of bricks. I wanted to throw up, just heave my breakfast and leave it on the floor in a mess of color. I still felt sick and was shaking, holding the gag reflex back, lightheaded. I did everything I could to stop myself. "Our life force. They took our life energy........." He wheezed and took a long puff on his tank. He was preparing to say more than one sentence. He looked like he had been saving and rehearsing it. "Someone called Void? Yes that sounds about right. Galaxy Void, maybe? Something having to do with stars. They kept referring to something called a Great Plan. Not all of them were ponies." He took a long puff on his oxygen tank as a Griffin with blue hair accents that was very old as well came over. On her right claw was a blue bracelet in the same state as Huck's. "Skyla?" I wanted to throw up again, holding it with everything I had. The previous Blue Ranger. Her eyes were completely blank, like she was blind but something more than that. She was missing many feathers in places, and her claws had no talons at all. "Lektra? I can't see you but I know it's you. Thank the sisters." She spoke in a whisper in a moment of clarity, then seemed to lose it. "Crystal! Huge! Not all ponies! Beware the Void!" Skyla yelled this out, then collapsed on her back and started to shake on the ground, ripping feathers off as orderlies ran over to try to calm her and save the poor Griffin. She was carried off on a stretcher, breathing heavily as she was given a potion to drink while the second orderly gave her a massage on her chest to even try to calm her a little. The last I saw of her she stared at me with tears in her eyes, as if begging me to hear and understand, or maybe to put her out of her misery myself. It was confusing, but I had to get as much information as I could for now. "Huck, what happened to Skyla?" I shuddered to think about this, unsure I wanted to hear the answer. "Skyla was horribly and brutally tortured....." He wheezed and took some more oxygen. "They broke her, literally. None of us really knew anything of use to them, so this was a complete waste. This was before they even took our life force. She was a bloody mess the next time I saw her, brought back into our cell barely alive. These cultists don't play around. Don't underestimate them." He wheezed, took some more oxygen, and I could see tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry." I was tearing up as well at this point, as well as trying very hard to not throw up all along. "I don't know how long I have, but it doesn't look like I have much time. Celestia Almighty, please tell me you have a way to fix this? I could feel my mind going, what sanity I have left. We all received a degree of torture both physical and mental. Last time I saw Swirl she didn't look like she had a lot of time, less than me. She could go any day now." "Swirl........." She was the Yellow Ranger. How do I tell him age spells weren't my specialty? How to tell him he really didn't have long and I couldn't do anything? I looked over the stallion, the desperate look in his eyes, the completely broken right hoof he was now concealing again. I hung my head in sorrow, unable to say anything. "I...." "You don't have to say anything." He started to wheeze and took a puff from his oxygen again, then coughed. "I understand." He started to cry on the table. "Huck I promise I will find a way to fix this. I don't know how yet, but I promise I will try. If you don't make it, I promise I will avenge you." The elderly unicorn coughed and raised his head with a happy smile, his eyes teary still but hopefully those were tears of joy. "Thanks, that's all I ask. Now get out of here before the nurse kicks you out. We'll try to hang on as long as we can and play some Bingo." I nodded solemnly. I then hugged him delicately and headed out, by which time Sparky had helped the nurse with her paperwork and she seemed to have forgotten about me. When I was leaving she looked up with a remembering look, but seeing as I was leaving she said nothing more. When I was safely back in the alley about to call for a pickup, I realized I'd left my comm open. The others had heard everything. With a gasp I spoke into the bracelet directly. "What....what do we do guys? How do we save them? Can we even? Luster love, please advise." I was so distraught I just sat down and all that could be heard was sobs. Sparky attempted to pat my head with a claw as I finally threw up, my breakfast ending up on the clean morning ground. Discord's comm was getting this also, though I hadn't heard from him in a while. -

Lektra Bolt, Morning, Castle of Friendship, Ranger Command Center @Denim&Venom @Acnologia@Drago Ryder @Randimaxis @TBD @Buck Testa The alarm went off on my console, as well as smaller ones around the Command Center. As the system showed us, one of our old Labs was being attacked by constructs from a rival company that had been trying and mostly failing to reverse engineer our work. In his beeping whirs one could hear Sparky exclaim from where he was cleaning the dish that previously had refreshments on it that I'd helped myself to. "Aye yai yai yai yai yai yai!" "I don't usually act like this, but rivals who try to steal our work are to be eliminated with extreme prejudice. Do what you need to in order to get rid of them. I will monitor the situation remotely." I hit a button on the console, activating the teleportation function. As their colored magical energy gathered around them I spoke a word of warning. "Follow Luster, and May the Power Protect You." The three of them were sent off to the location displayed, and would arrive at their destination soon. I turned my attention to another location displayed on the magical projection map. A smaller one I'd been tracking in Las Pegasus. Familiar energy. While their powers had been reclaimed by the Morphing Grid, the residual energy was something I could still track. The previous team of Power Rangers had been found! Again I activated the teleportation function to send Sparky and myself there, enveloping us in gold energy. Time to search through a city in the sky, and by search I mean go directly to the location since I could track them wherever they were held. There were walkways, so it's not like I'd fall through the floor right? -

Lektra Bolt, Morning, Castle of Friendship, Ranger Command Center @Denim&Venom @Acnologia@Drago Ryder @Randimaxis @TBD @Buck Testa I had by this time climbed up into my swivel chair, and hidden the Morping Grid Crysal back in it's floor indentation to link up with the instruments again, and to read it's output better. Turning to Luster I answered her question. "Well you know how well that worked out for me. My Zord and suit are very damaged. That's what happens when there's no time for repairs in between fights. As for why? That's simple really. You weren't ready at the time, and were indisposed. Someone had to take care of things." She might remember that she had just recently been accepted by the Morphing Grid, after intense training. A couple of days ago. "You're definitely correct Dawn, we're vigilantes. We have no approval from the Princesses or any government agencies, and we should maintain our secret identities. Twilight doesn't know we're using one of the castle's spare rooms, and I'd prefer we keep it that way for as long as possible." I looked her over in her armor. It looked good and fit perfectly snug. "Are you feeling good with the suit? Getting used to the Heads Up Display? Any complaints of misshapeness? I can fix that." "That's right Clayton, you're a smith. I looked over your files before, the info you provided upon signing up. There might still be mysteries to you guys that you chose not to disclose, but I remember you were encouraged to be thorough." I winked at him. "We're all friends here, and your skill might come in handy to help me in repairs." I looked him over. "How's the suit treating you? Getting used to the Heads Up Display? Everything good and snug? Enough room in the crotch department? I can fix if it you need an adjustment." I paced around them, admiring my work. I had built these previously for them and the Grid put it on when they transformed. Finally satisfied, I spoke. "You guys know how to transform now. Just do what I did, like powering down. The three of you are still wearing your suits." I nodded nonchalantly. "Just say Power Down to make it disappear." I assumed they would know a cool pose was recommended as well. Luster would show them the ropes, probably. The only thing to do now was to wait for another attack to happen, or some other unforeseen thing -

Lektra Bolt, Morning, Castle of Friendship, Ranger Command Center @Denim&Venom @Acnologia@Drago Ryder @Randimaxis @TBD Reaching into the odd swirling vortex the two could feel a warm energy envelop their hoof, like a gentle hug of a parent. The energy solidified into bracelets as their hooves were lightly nudged back out, the new jewelry gleaming in the light. Then there was a flash of energy as the bracelets ignited in magical light matching their colors and enveloped their owners while floating in the air, activating their Ranger Forms for the first time. I floated a clipboard out of Sparky's storage container. "Very good, the Morphing Grid has judged you worthy, as I thought it would." "Miss Dawn, you are the White Harmony Ranger, and you will command the White Dragon Zord." I noted that down by what the instruments were telling me, moving on to Clayton. "Mister Clayton, you are the Blue Harmony Ranger, and you will command the Blue Wendigo Zord." I noted that down as well, turning my attention to my daughter next. "My dear child Luster is the Red Harmony Ranger, commanding the Red Manticore Zord. She's going to be your leader and is a tactical genius. You would do well to follow her in combat. The last group didn't, and their powers were reclaimed by the Morphing Grid." I raised my right hoof, a similar bracelet gleaming in the light of the room. One could see damage across the bright golden jewel in the middle, and it made some light sparks. "I must try this one more time before I temporarily retire, for their sake." I whispered this under my breath, stepping forward and tapping the jewel with my left hoof, making it gleam as I raised up my right hoof. "Magitek Source, Harmony Force!" I was enveloped in a bright gold light as I floated up, Sparky changing as well as if in response. "Gold Ranger Power!" Yelling this out while inside there, I reached my hooves out as pieces of the armor appeared around me, attaching and activating. Finally the helmet appeared on my head as I crossed my forehooves, my mane folding inside it as the HUD activated, showing me important information. Lastly, Sparky attached to my back in a new form that gave me wings. I landed back down, a momentary whoosh of mana-jets turning off, a feature only I had. I had been a couple of feet off the ground. I landed on the floor with a clip-clop of enchanted steel on crystal. One could now see the armor was heavily damaged, with gashes across many parts. The inside mana circuits could be seen, as well as the repairs being conducted as the armor was self repairing. Light gold sparks occasionally blew from the damaged parts, signs of the armor trying to repair itself. The whole transformation had really taken two seconds, but to me it felt much longer as I could perfectly see and feel it happening. Posing dramatically with the Horn Enhancer Module's mana circuits gleaming as the floor lights danced around me, I raised my right forehoof and floated up, daring an invisible enemy to come get me. Unfortunately I had no time to spare before my HUD started to warn me I had to power down, as 80% of the suit was still heavily damaged. Reluctantly I complied with a sigh. "Power down." As I said this the suit disappeared as quickly as it had appeared and Sparky returned to normal as well, my turning to the new Rangers like that was a routine thing for me. It really was though, and they'd quickly get used to it also. "So, about those questions? I'm sure you have many?" -

Lektra Bolt, Morning, Castle of Friendship, Ranger Command Center @Denim&Venom @Acnologia@Drago Ryder @Randimaxis @TBD (Format guys, please) Speaking to the figure upstairs, whom I knew very well, I looked up. "Where exactly did you get your pessimism from, dear?" I put my right hoof to my head for a moment to think. It wasn't her other 'mom' Twilight, the one who almost never spent time with her or encouraged her. "Nevermind, don't answer that. I'm often pessimistic, but it's upsetting you're embracing that facet of my personality so heavily." I then looked over to Sparky, frowning and returning to my chair, swiveling in it as if we didn't have guests. "Really Sparky, what have you been doing with your sister in your spare time?" He beeped and swung his claws around at me, which I understood perfectly. "Oh really, you're going to be pessimistic too huh?" An affirming beep was my reply, to which I replied with a sigh as I turned to the questions of the recruits who had finally spoken up. I'd chastise him later, and I swiveled around to our recruits, getting out of the chair. "Welcome everyone. I am Lektra Bolt, and this is Sparky. I made him, and you might recognize him as something of a robot, but I prefer the word 'construct' really. For now, pay no attention to the figure up in the girders." By my horn magic an expensive looking tapestry moved in as a cover. "I'm having an important meeting. Can we talk later? You will be able to see them, but they will not be able to see you." The tapestry had a one way mirror-like spell on it. I turned back to our recruits. "I'm glad you all decided to apply to the program and joined it without much information to go on." I began to pace around them, my horn magic turning on lights around the room, exposing expensive artifacts gathered from around the world. Dormant for now, but potentially useful. Not dangerous. "Before we get started, may I interest you in some refreshments?" I motioned a hoof to Sparky, getting a rather joking beep in response. "Not oil for you or something for me. For them, Sparky." Sparky understood and wheeled out. I stopped pacing and moved to the center of the room, crystals on the floor moving with me and making a bit of a show. "I'm sure you have many questions and I promise you I will answer every one, but first I need your help. Because without you, our world, our way of life......" I paused for dramatic effect, having practiced and given this speech before. "......is going to be destroyed!" I moved to pace around a particular recession in the actual center of the floor, the floor crystals lighting up the recession as a crystal on a pedestal appeared out of it. "Please direct your attention to the Viewing Crystal." On the Crystal played out recent events from the past couple of months: The arrival of the evil forces all over the world, the monsters being summoned, citizens running in fear and panic, the fighting, the previous team being kidnapped, and my fighting alone for the past couple of weeks. Cultists hooded in robes, the abominations who led them, all for an unknown purpose. "This has been happening for a while now, and frankly, I'm tired. I really need help. We don't know when the next attack will happen." He was taking his time, as he usually did. I called out loudly, echoing over the crystal of the room. "Sparky!" There was an affirming beep heard. He had gone up to hang out with the figure in the girders, as they usually did. I'm sure they were both bored, having heard all this before. "These guys and who knows how many crazy abominations will attack again." At this point Sparky brought in the refreshments. Various types of drinks, and cookies from Sugarcube Corner. I drank from my levitating coffee cup instead, placing the tray on one of the tables. "Our military, the Royal Guard, have been so very useless, the Elements of Harmony have fared no better. Our heroes haven't been able to deal with these threats. I'm rich. Even if I buy an army from overseas, it wouldn't be enough." I wasn't going to tell them they had been randomly chosen and were probably the only ones left that had applied. Best not to kill self esteem, with how dire the stakes had become. "You have the physical, mental, and magical qualities needed. I'm also sure once others see that it is actually possible to defeat these world threats, more will join the cause." This wasn't a lie, just wishful thinking. So far we had been winning, the cost and toll it was taking excluded. Another smaller pedestal appeared from inside another recession inside the floor, this one having a web-like magic light glowing on it. A view of a much larger area could be seen, and this was just a tiny portion of the real scope. It looked like a portal but was really another enchanted crystal. "I have the Magitek and the money to fight this evil. I can turn you into Power Rangers!" I posed triumphantly, with the floor lights dancing around me. This whole concept had come to me in a dream. All of it, yes. I'm probably crazy. Completely batty. "You only need to reach your hoof into the Morphing Grid, and let it handle the rest." "So, what do you say? To refuse would doom the world, and you don't really want to prove the figure in the rafters right, do you?" Crazy-looking scientist pony asking you to trust her. Nothing odd about this. Seems legit, right? -

Lektra replied to Lektra's topic in Everfree Roleplays
Lektra Bolt, Morning, Castle of Friendship, Ranger Command Center @Denim&Venom @Acnologia@Drago Ryder @Randimaxis ---- "Love, you know very well that the weapon stores we have are finite and take time to build up. Magitek cannot be mass produced in a factory. It requires actual proprietary spells being casted by actual practitioners of magic to build and enchant afterwards. If I had authorized your use of those weapons, sure it would have helped turn the tide quicker, but where would we be afterwards? Thousands, perhaps millions, of bits poorer. We didn't become the company we are today by using our resources unwisely. We make quality products that are meticulously tested and the big things you speak of are only used when absolutely necessary. I just felt it was more economical to go in alone, and you're right, I won but for all intents and purposes got my flank kicked." I thought about all the repair work I still had to do and how much resources that would cost. "This method hit our caches less hard than what you propose, but it's also not working and maybe being more proactive with our resources would be better next time." I sighed, looking her over, pacing around the new arrivals. "I honestly don't know what we'll do next time. The Zord is not ready for another battle and my suit has taken too much damage from all this ongoing fighting as well. Doesn't really matter the Morphing Grid allows for near instantaneous travel and transport of the means necessary to fight these invaders if we can't repair fast enough. What's your proposal? Perhaps it will work out better than what I've been doing." I continued to pace around the new recruits, looking up at her in the highs of the Command Center. I then took a long sip from my floating coffee mug. -
OOC: Let's do it guys! Follow my format! Two paragraphs minimum! (Other rules are in the OOC thread) @Denim&Venom @Acnologia@Drago Ryder @Randimaxis @TBD ---- It is five years in the future of all the events of MLP: FIM. Peace and friendship has spread all over the world, but not all is as nice as it seems. Sinister forces have begun to invade in the past month, bringing with them destruction and distrust in the Princesses to be able to contain the problem. It has proven too much for the Mane Cast to handle, and they have been soundly defeated, laughed at. Even Discord with his seemingly limitless power can merely hold these forces at bay, though not defeat them. Enter Bolt Solutions, the multi billion bit corporation providing affordable Magitek to improve the lives of citizens. In secret they have thoroughly researched a way to fight the invaders. Crafting the Morphing Grid, Lektra Bolt granted this power to five chosen citizens who passed rigorous qualifications. Unfortunately, they were defeated as well. Kidnapped and dragged away. Now all hope seems lost as the forces of darkness threaten to overtake the world. Lektra and Discord have been fighting world threats for a couple of weeks now, the wear and tear starting to take it's toll both mentally and physically, with no time for rest. One more time she attempts to choose five world citizens to help her in her quest. Forgoing the rigorous tests this time, she chooses from the list of applicants completely at random. You have been chosen as the B Squad, teleported to the Command Center in the Castle of Friendship, and meet Sparky the Magitek constrcut. Maybe this group will surprise her. Maybe this group will be different. Maybe this group will save the world. Take up your morpher! Pose dramatically! It's Morphin' Time! ------- Lektra Bolt, Morning, Castle of Friendship, Ranger Command Center --- I had just gotten back from yet another fight. Sure I'd defeated the monster, but the Golden Phoenix Zord had seen enough damage this week that it needed lengthy repairs, and my suit as well. I'd be out of action for a while. What was I to do if another attack happened? Talk about being the last hope. What happens when the last hope needs a last hope? Is there such a thing as last last hope? As these thoughts went through my head I was moving around in the hangar repairing part of the Zord on the floating girders. It could be miniaturized, but I needed it full size now. One of the wonderful things about the castle was that it was bigger on the inside. How did no pony notice it was only as thick as an old tree but huge on the inside? Could I get it repaired enough to last through another fight? I needed help. Really I did. Where did Discord get off to? He was always popping up somewhere. Let's go play the lottery. No time for pleasantries. With the Zord as good as she's going to get for now, I headed out to the Command Center proper with my floating mug of coffee. Light clip clip being heard on the polished crystal floor. The coffee was the only thing keeping me focused, but if I had too much I'd get too sleepy. "Sparky has the mainframe finished yet? We need those new applicants." I looked at him sternly, determined and sad I'd need to throw more ponies (or other species) into harm's way. Sparky beeped affirmative and I pressed a button on the half circular panel, there being a whoosh. The 'winners' of the lottery materializing in front of Sparky while I laid back in the executive chair monitoring the situation. What, only two? Was this all that were left? All that applied? Did no pony else care for the world?

Why even have this then if you're copying and pasting? EqE versions are perfectly allowed to play in EvE, as per the rules. It's just that the reverse is not true, and people usually have different, more strict to canon versions made for EqE. Sorry, just trying to help.

Rave is an example of an evil character done right, even if it limits his RP options. Always wanted to say this and kept forgetting. Rock on.
