    music Metal.

I love almost all music, but I suppose I like the "punk" aspects of metal in particular.
  3. Because you go into fits of spastic passion when you actually say her name?
  4. "Hey do you like the cartoon horses? I like cartoon horses."
  5. I press the button with the picture of the popcorn on it.
  6. I think both episodes with themes concerning siblings/pseudo-siblings, "Somepony to Watch Over Me" and "Owl's Well That Ends Well", are incredibly touching.
  7. My brother used to enjoy the show a lot, but now he's stopped watching it pretty much. My boyfriend likes the show, if that counts.
  8. "Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone". I guess it was fun enough. My boyfriend and I just wanted to watch something together.
  9. Jeez man that sounds painful. I'm glad you can laugh about it now, though.
  10. I think it might've been an old PS1 side-scroller named "Rapid Angel".
  11. I think I relate to all of them at least a little, but I most related to Twilight in the first season, when she first learned the importance of friendship.
  12. They've released the EQG films on Blu-Ray, but yeah, it'd be nice to see the main series on it too.
  13. I've noticed a lot of passionate folks posting on this site, which is good. But I've also not seen a lot of that passion put into the finer details of discussion. I mean, there's a lot here to discuss! And with how much we love the show, we can surely provide some in-depth examples. So, in this thread, I want to ask three things: 1. What's your approach to average show discussion, and what do you hope to get out of it? 2. What's something you absolutely adore about the show, and why? Go in as much detail as possible. 3. What's something you absolutely despise about the show, and why? Again, as much detail as possible. Remember to be respectful and patient toward others, and try to swap some ideas. That's what we're here for, after all.
  14. I realize I'm not a mod here, but I think it's pretty clear that Dulset had never intended to be offensive or insulting. Maybe it'd be best to just tell him why his posts are bothersome? On topic, I think I can cite Testin' as an example of the show being more complex in its lessons.
  15. Something I've also noticed is that the problems have gotten more complex and relatable, though whether they're relatable obviously depends on who's watching. Still, it's one of the things I'm happiest with about MLP: that it tackles subjects in a way that other children's shows don't.
  16. Talking with individuals about the show, I've found that most of them seem to believe the show changed in some significant fashion. As for me, yes, things happened to the characters and world, but I don't think that really had an impact on the show or how it was written. Going back and watching the earlier episodes, I'm honestly not noticing much difference in the show at all. It still places more emphasis on emotions and interpersonal interactions than consistency or story, and there's still brief spouts of world-building or neat plot devices. The changes look to be mostly inconsequential differences in a show that never really seemed to be about events in the first place, so much as the emotions caused by said events. But what do you think? How has the show changed, and what did you originally enjoy about the show? Is it still present?
  17. Because people with a different set of tastes than you watched the films, and said films clicked with their tastes.
  18. I was pretty unappreciative of games as a kid, but the first game to really touch me was probably Nier.
  19. A simple poll with a simple yes or no answer. Are you above average in intelligence and why? Simply for curiosity.
  20. Either Sunset Shimmer or Twilight, but it's harder for me to relate to Twilight than it was before.
  21. Well, it is a topic for favorite Seasons, but I can say that I also liked S4 the least. I still enjoyed it, though.
  22. I completely avoided Three's a Crowd, so you've got me there. I just wasn't interested in the episode at all. And I wouldn't mind hearing.
  23. A lot of videogames come to mind. Not because they've become cool yet, but because I deeply hope they will. Sometime.
