Thanks for your feedback, and I will look into the request thread. I was basically including some general information, here's some more:
She and Twilight separated a while before she came to Ponyville, and so they didn't really recognize each other much when Novele found the school, while they were still little foals. They weren't close much after they split apart, because Twilight thought Novele died when she fell into a water rapids. That's why they didn't write to each other, because Twilight thought Novele died, and she knew that, so she didn't want to scare Twilight knowing that in Twilight's mind, Novele died. She managed to get out of the rapids and travel to Baltimare, thinking Twilight abandoned her. There she grew up and had journals she wrote day-to-day experiences in and such. One day, she found a unicorn talking about Celestia's school and decided to enroll. She spent a lot of time with books growing up, and self-taught herself some magic by that time, so she managed to get in. Neither Twilight nor Novele knew the other was in the school , they weren't able to see each other much, and in those times, neither hadn't been able to notice the other as more than just another pony. Novele moved to Canterlot, so she could be closer to the school. She found her studies fairly easy, and was able to practice a lot of the time. Most of the rest of her time was dedicated to reading, and she found herself to love books even more. Soon after enrolling, Novele got her cutie mark by writing her first short story. It was a fairly good story, with a good story-line base, but with poor writing style. She finished it while waiting for her exam, and she looked up after writing it to see a few people staring at her. One pointed out her cutie mark, and she turned to see a quill and ink bottle with a book on her flank. She is almost finished studying at the school, and plans on moving back to Baltimare to set up a place to live and work as a professional writer. For now, she just plans on letting things happen as they should, and should something unexpected come up, she'll work her way out with her skills.
