I used to believe Luna was best pony, but I changed my mind over the course of the show and now it's Celestia. Just wish they had done more on her past or gave her more screen time (so to speak).

What's this? The Rarity fan club isn't as active as I thought it would be. She earned a fair amount of respect from me by the end of the show. Shame she isn't getting as much love as she used too.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. She hit and stayed top of them all at the very begin when she stood up to and talked down the dragon. In all of fiction, that is the first time anyone/anything had done such a thing. Then she goes and out stares a cocktrice not long after that. Two things that should be impossible; done by a creature classed as weaker and she has a personality that I like, how can I not love her? In fact, how can anyone dislike her?

Like I said, my chances of ever supporting the ship were slim to begin with.  I only found out about the ship after having watched the Season 4 Finale when Discord betrayed all of ponykind (and in the process, Fluttershy) to Lord Tirek and was adamantly against it from that point on.  After a while, I could kind of see where people who supported the ship were coming from with episodes like Discordant Harmony and (in some parts) To Where And Back Again, even if I didn't support the ship myself.  But then the writers pulled that BS in Season 9 that made me hate the ship with a passion, much more than I'd ever hated it previously.  I'd ship Fluttershy with literally anypony else before even thinking of shipping her with Discord.

I honestly forgot about the whole Tirek thing that surprising happened a fair distance back now. Personally, I only saw those episodes as a deep friendship thing, nothing else. I think it's best we don't go too far with this stuff though, flames tend to happen and get far worse before they finally go out.

I never cared for the pairing in the first place; just didn't seem right, but the end certainly put a knife in me ever considering it. I also want to say that I didn't really care for the outcome of that, I wanted the characters to face a truly dangers enemy and yet 'that' is what we get instead. A real disappointment and waste of a good opportunity. Doing my best to be spoiler free here, for those that don't know.

Thanks MLP forums for pretty much cutting Fluttershy out of the banner. (sarcasm alarm) I would also like to take the time to say that even though the main show has ended, I am still a major fan of MLP and Fluttershy will forever live inside my heart; what's left of it. Also, I still don't ship her with Discord.

Call me mad, but I will be getting this when I can. Couldn't care less about the price I will have to pay for it.

I just want to have my say in this, but I really don't think people should take what was said about the marriage thing too seriously. It came out of Angels mouth for one thing and things like this have been hinted before, but never really meant anything. As much as I'm a fan of both characters, I'm not really a fan of the ship; it just doesn't seem right.

When people go through things like that, they probably will have several negative emotions buried in them. After deciding to act more assertive, she ended up letting those negative feelings out in not so good ways which ultimately lead to the lashing out scene. Often times we say some pretty nasty things when we're really angry. And by the end of the episode, she now learns the right balance between kindness and assertiveness.

 

Very well said, and I can tell you put in a lot of thought into what it is you wanted to say. Anyway, as I believe it is normally said; welcome to the herd and anyone who likes Fluttershy is automatically great in my books.

Hello fellow pony fans and I am here to pretty much advertise my Youtube Channel. Normally I don't like doing something like this, but I do want to make myself known and maybe get somewhere with it. I'm not sure if this is against a rule, so if it is then please close or even delete this thread. Moving onto the point, I have been playing games since I was not even five and I still play a lot to this very day (now 29). I like to play most types of games and can be pretty good at them in most cases, though fighting games seem to be the exception to the rule; so to speak, because I am really bad at them. I have a wide range of consoles and even have over 320K Gamerscore for Xbox. This is why I thought that maybe it would be a good idea to record and share my gaming with everyone, rather than just have it as a long going and none profit based hobby. I'm still learning and adding things to improve the video quality (First lot of videos aren't great quality because of not having a strong enough device), but things have improved now. I am also looking for any feed back and advice on what to do better and any support is very much appreciated.

Also going to say, there will be nothing MLP related on the channel so I can keep it a channel that everyone would like to go too. Some people are easily scared off because of seeing even the smallest hint of MLP. Don't get me wrong though, I am still a fan of the series (G4) and won't give it up for anything.
