    My brother had given my his old electric guitar that he doesn't use anymore. When I saw the guitar I thought it looked an awful lot like Rainbow's in Rainbow Rocks. My initial thought was to just stick Rainbow Dash's mark on it as a tribute to her and the fandom. It was later that I got this idea. Why don't I try to make my guitar look like Rainbow's?
     
    I've only gone the first step into making the guitar like hers, but even though there are limitations on what I can do, I'm confident I can do her justice.
     
    I have the whammy bar set up and am currently ordering lightning bolt stickers to use for the fret dots.
    I'm also thinking about painting the headstock blue to match the body.

    I will occasionally upload some URLs to videos or sound clips I made recording myself on one of my guitars. Be warned; not every song will be MLP related.
     
    This will be the main place where I will be posting my music material periodically.
     
     
     

    The first one here will be something I just recently started working on. It's a really complex tune called "Mediterranean Sundance" that I'm just in the realm of decent on it. (Around the edge)
    This is just the steel guitar solo part. I'm still learning to play the nylon string part.

    So I took the personality test that determines what character you best match as and... I can't really say I'm surprised. I probably should have expected it considering the way I act and the amount of animals I have in my house which includes one of those. Yeah. Can't believe I didn't realize it until now.

    We just moved into our new house in a nice little community and gosh is it going to take a while to settle in.
     
    You know, I thought I would feel a little sadder to be moving away from my old home that I've spent my entire life in, but I've realized I've been prepared for this by not just my life, but the show as well. That episode where Twilight has to come to terms with living in a new home helped prepare me for this moment and stands among the reasons why I think this show is great. The lessons it has taught me will definitely help me in my life.
     
    It's the memories you've sown that give meaning to our lives and I'm hoping to add you all to that list.

    So we were digging through closets and cupboards to move things to the new house and we found some things that I thought were pretty cool that I had to share.
     
    My brother had moved out of our house a while ago and he left a bunch of stuff behind. When he came back to clean his stuff out we found some stuff that was decided to be given to me.

     
    It turns out that he used to play electric guitar, so I now have another guitar to play on.
    It also has a resemblance to Rainbow's guitar. (It's not just me right?)
     
    I had also just learned my brother used to play the flute when he was younger, so now I have an even more different instrument to learn to play.

    After waiting for two months I have finally been able to get my new guitar from Sam Ash.
     
    The guitar I decided to get came out recently. It is a flamenco guitar built as a tribute to Paco De Lucia, one of the fathers of modern day flamenco. He unfortunately passed away last year, but remains as one of the reasons why I play my guitar.
     
    As I was looking up songs played by him I discovered he had played with Al Di Meola, a latin jazz god.
    And that's when I heard this song that will probably take me to the end of time to learn how to play, but I'm working on it.
     
    Anyway; the guitar is beautiful and I can't wait to start practicing more.
