You know,I kow that you say that these look pathetic and that's great that you feel that. That means you care. Now then, I can tell that you're trying really hard to get these to feel more like I guess a traditional anime and there are a few things that are somewhat off, but in my eyes these look pretty kickass. I think what would really help out what you're doing here is if you were to make the lines taper more instead of letting them end with either a square or round shape. There are a few anatomy issues here and there but I honestly think that it adds to the style you got going on here BUT IF YOU REALLY WANNA CONQUER ANATOMY, I'd suggest you do some figure drawins on something like quickposes.com and give some anatomy books a read. I need to find my tablet because on it I have a whole bunch of art reference books that are over 100 years old and are in public domain, but they are fantastic when it comes to reference and that also means I can legally share them. Once I remember where I put the thing, I'll be sure to send em on over.

So I just doodled this up a second ago because I fixed my computer that crashed and deleted everything on my hard drive and YES I CAN DRAW WITH A CRAPPY WACOM BAMBOO AGAIN HOLY GOD but anyway this is one of the main characters from some silly iphone game I'm making. Posting on here because hey why the hell not I need to get active on here again. Anyhooo go ahead and tell me how much I suck and how I should go punch myself in the dick for making this! Personally overall this is just... meh. There's nothing that says OH MY GOD THIS IS AWESOME with this.

If you're gonna draw on it there are tons of cool apps on it that you can find for free BUT I'd recommend you pick one of these up, first: http://www.adonit.net/jot/pro/ it's basically a cheap but really nice pressure sensitive pen that will give you the accuracy you really need for art related endeavors. Unless the newer Samsung Tabs come with a pressure sensitive pen (I have the tab 2: didn't come with any stylus :c ) any normal stylus you're gonna get is going to be kind of hard to do any art with. You can still do it but it's not going to be all that precise which equals to YOU STUPID TABLET DRAW THE LINES I WANT YOU TO DRAW!!!!

Hey there! A month or two ago, I talked with my little niece and I remembered that as a kid they would would read horror stories and stuff to me in kindergarten. They wouldn't read like Stephen King but they'd read cute little Halloween stories and stuff. After talking with my niece, they just don't do that anymore at least at her school. Sooo all of a sudden, I was reminded of this one simpsons treehouse of horror episode where they did a reading of Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven and I thought to myself "you know, if I could put ponies in this and make it even more sillier, it'd be a cute little video that both kids and crazy brony people could enjoy." So anyway, I'm looking for a Rarity and Pinkie Pie VA for this. The video itself would be very similar to the simpsons thing above except less dark, more silly with more gags, and you know minus the whole Bart and Lisa reading it at the beginning and end. So basically I'd do the narration unless my voice isn't spooooooky enough in which case I'll find someone else, I'd like Rarity to do the vocal parts and a Pinkie Pie to do the Raven. I do have some storyboards drawn out I just need to get my piece of junk scanner working to show you them. I know that it's odd to ask when I just don't have much here, but I'd like to have this out by halloween. If it looks too bad I'll clean it up and release it another time, but I did like almost a whole friggin' pony convention promo in like four days and I animated all the cutscenes of some crappy upcoming iphone RPG which ended up being around two minutes of full "HAND DRAWN TRADITIONAL ANIMATION" (I hate that term so much you don't even know) in two days so I'm thinking I'll be good here with this. I also typed up a whole book which ended up being a best seller on Amazon in like a few hours so LOL So anyway I'm running fast here. I'm about to head off to target and buy like a 60 pack of redbulls with some giftcard I acquired while I was homeless in NYC last week so add me on skype my name is lordbababa and lets get this going. I'll be sure to send you the script of it which for the most part is just totally The Raven unchanged with a little bit of extra dialogue here and there. I need to post more on these forums, I'm beat and don't wanna read a topic... aaaa what do I do? Lets post up some self portrait I'm going to stop working on starting now! There are a lot of things wrong with this BUT as it currently stands I have other things I need to focus on and since this was because my school requested me do a self portrait before class actually starts I think it's about time I turn it in. I did another self portrait about a year ago and it looked pretty bad BUT I don't have it anymore but if you for some reason have it (which surprise surprise someone on here actually once had some old art of mine) go ahead an link it up for comparison I guess. I dunno I'm tired sleeptime now bye
