So alternate worlds, DC comics has Infinte Crisis, Marvel has Secret Wars but MLP:FiM has... the human world. The film re-envisions the main characters of the series, normally ponies, as human characters in a high school setting. The film's plot involves the pony Twilight Sparkle pursuing her stolen crown into an alternate world where she transforms into a human, teenage girl. While learning how to behave as a human, yeah.... what could go wrong? The King Of Depravity here and today My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. Let's Rock! No seriously... also put some swag music on and let's get reviewing.

    Directed by Jayson Thiessen

Story and Characters- Set after the events of the show's third season finale, the newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle visits the Crystal Empire with her Ponyville friends for a royal summit. That night, Twilight's crown and Element of Magic is stolen by the unicorn Sunset Shimmer, a former student of Celestia. Twilight must travel alone, Twilight's dragon assistant Spike anxiously jumps in after her as she enters the mirror. In the other world, Twilight and Spike are transformed into a teenage human girl and dog, respectively. While struggling to adjust to her new body, Twilight investigates the nearby Canterlot High School where she encounters several human students and faculty members resembling ponies in Equestria, including her friends Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity. She befriends the five girls, helping to bridge the animosity that Sunset had created between them in the years prior to Twilight's arrival. Twilight discovers that Fluttershy found the crown and gave it to Celestia, the school principal, who mistakes it for a prop meant for the elected Princess of the upcoming Fall Formal. Twilight decides to run for Fall Formal Princess against Sunset to retrieve the crown. Sunset tries sabotaging Twilight's campaign first by uploading a humiliating online video of Twilight behaving like a pony, and later framing her for wrecking the formal decorations in the school gymnasium. However, Twilight's new friends, including Sunset's ex-boyfriend Flash Sentry, help counter these ploys and improve Twilight's popularity among the students.

At the formal, Twilight wins the election and the crown, but Sunset steals it after threatening to destroy the portal to Equestria. Upon donning the crown, Sunset transforms into a demonic creature and uses her newfound powers to brainwash much of the student body into becoming her army with which to invade Equestria. When Sunset attacks Twilight, her friends race to save her, evoking the crown's magic that protects them and temporarily gives them pony-like attributes. The magic of their friendship reverts Sunset to her human form and breaks her spell on the other students. Sunset becomes repentant, and Twilight asks her friends to look after Sunset in her absence. Twilight spends time celebrating with her friends at the formal before she and Spike take the crown through the portal, which closes behind them. Twilight and Spike return to Equestria, transforming back to their original forms on arrival and reuniting with their Ponyville friends. As you can see alot happened...

Twilight Sparkle and Mane 6- Twilight as a 'human' self was really likable in this film and it was nice to see her meet her friends again. As a character she was well written and the interaction between the mane 6 was very well done, but the run time was extended because Twilight needed to adapt to our 'human world', although this the comedy and interaction between the Mane 6 was well done. Not much else i can really say. Just watch MLP:Silver Quill he elaborates on what i say....

Animation & Sound- The music for the movie is really good, but not as good as it should be. Let me explain, the music feels like it's part of a teen drama series (not Teen Wolf) and is very 'misplaced' unlike it's far better sequel. Although that 'Equestria Girls (Cafeteria Song)' is really amazing balls! Other than that the music doesn't feel 'right' but still good songs. Animation wise this was pretty decent, nothing to note worthy though...

Villian- Sunset Shimmer, the main antagonist of the movie. She is a bitter unicorn and Princess Celestia's former apprentice, who steals Princess Twilight's crown in a bid for power over both the human world and Equestria. Yeah she felt under used as a villian and not that 'threating' other than what she did to the school, but she looks amazing!

Final Verdict- On the one hand this movie feels a little rushed but on the other hand it is still enjoyable to watch. If i would say this movie isnt the best it could offer, but the sequel is FAR better so yeah...

So we are going to do some world building... So in today's episode we have seen the return of Gilda. Let's just say that we are going to see a lot of things in this episode, and this episode displayed some of the best writing for Pinkie Pie since forever... Mares and Gentlecolts, The King of Depravity here and today "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone". Let's Jam!
Writers- Jayson Thiessen and Jim Miller

Story and Characters- The cutie mark map sends Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie to the griffon city of Griffonstone. When the two arrive, they find the once thriving city is derelict ever since a golden idol, the city's symbol of power, was stolen by a monster and fell into a chasm. The two also meet Rainbow Dash's former friend Gilda, who is still resentful from her past visit to Ponyville. Rainbow Dash goes to recover the lost idol, believing it will restore Griffonstone's former glory, while Pinkie remains to help the griffons rediscover friendship, starting by helping Gilda improve her scone recipe. When Rainbow Dash gets stuck in the chasm, Pinkie is able to convince Gilda that she still thinks of Rainbow Dash as a friend, and the two work to rescue her. Gilda spots the missing idol teetering on a nearby ledge, but she opts to save Rainbow Dash instead, and the idol falls into the chasm. Gilda and Rainbow Dash make up, and Gilda is able to use Pinkie's friendship idea to help more griffons become friendlier than before.

Rainbow and Pinkie Pie- There chemistry in this episode made this episode even more enjoyable, and the opening seen with Pinkie was really nicely done. Rainbow Dash isn’t my favourite character in the series but i generally really liked her in this, she was very calm and not super erratic or self-confident in this episode although that is part of Dashie's personality she was very tame in this episode. Let us not forget Gilda and her return as a character and she got some Sunset Shimmer style vindication and we get to see a more built up back story of her past, and let's not forget the Rainbow Dash impression of Twilight.

Animation and Sound- The attention to detail in some scenes and the silhouettes in some scenes were nicely done... as for the sound we didn’t get any song in this episode. Hopefully we will get a song in the slice of life episode, but until then... this episode's animation was top notch.

Final Verdict- All in all this episode was really good, and really balanced and very tame... world building is very good also and Gilda is far more likable now. On the other hand Pinkie Pie's writing is the best EVER! so i rate this episode 9.7/10.

So this episode was a filler, although this it was generally a good episode and a nice cool down moment for the viewer after what happened with Tanks last episode, also this is the second CMC episode in season 5... so without further a do Appleloosa's Most Wanted, lets rock!

Synopsis- So in this episode the CMC travel to Appleloosa in hopes of getting there cutie marks... untill the Sheriff says that an outlaw has been vandalising the contests and causing chaos around Appleloosa. The Crusaders go and investigate in hopes of getting there cutie marks but they run in to Trouble, literally.

Applejack meanwhile wants to break the record for haystacking... and Baerburn was just there as a plot device/comedic relief, after finding out that the CMC have been missing the Sheriff wants Troubleshoes Clyde caught. When the CMC run into Troublehoof says that all he brings is bad luck, and explains in his backstory that when he tried to enter the rodeo contest. (also all the judges laugh at him and it was a life scaring)

The CMC convice Trouble that he has miss interpet his mark, then they go back to Appleloosa to go to the rodeo, and Trouble is conviced that he is an entertainer, after performing stunts and everypony laughing his cover gets blown and all the town is against him then he is about to be taken away (again) untill the CMC convice the town ponies that it isnt his fault and that he destined to entertain ponies.

The episode ends with Applejack saying that its better to make a pony realise their special talent than not helping i wasnt really sure, (this is episode was also a similar ending form hearts and hooves day) and the camera zooms out and the episode ends...

The Good- the good thing about this episode is that they developed the CMC in this episode instead of having fruitless atempts of getting there marks, also we revisit Appleloosa and things have changed, also has anyone noticed the animation is amazingly better in this episode especially other than that the episode was just generally 'OK' something like a S1 or S2 episode.

The Bad- this episode reduced Applejack's role to a suppourting character and made Bearburn comedic relief other than that this episode was soild overall, but not much significance to the CMC just another attempt on getting there maks...

All in all this episode was very soild and decent, it makes sense since this is a filler episode and we did have that Tank's hibrenation episode that we needed to recover from so it only makes sense to have a filler, regardless it was very soild and i hope to see what the series bring next hint hint Fluttercord...

That is all from me mares and gentlecolts, hope to see ya next episode! Brohoof!

So in this episode we learn that Tanks will hibernate, this of course makes Rainbow Dash feel that she will have to get her way to stop winter, and well this goes sideways... Hello Filies and Gentlecolts, today we will indulge ourselves in Tanks For The Memories, let's rock!

As you may have noticed one of the writers are a fan of A Game Of Thrones... so take that as you wish.

The Good: So this episode starts of with the ponies getting ready for Winter as Autumm as finished... this is when Rainbow finds out tht something is wrong with Tanks... Rainbow goes to all her friends looking for an answer untill Fluttershy tells her that Tanks will 'Hibernate' causing Rainbow Dash to deny this and well she ahh storms of... Rainbow Dash goes threw the 5 stages of grief as if Tanks will 'die' i say die as he will bury himself underground.

Rainbow causes a argument with Pinkie and lashes out on her friends as well as trying to sabotage the Rainbow Factory is cloudsdale just to prevent winter but she speeds up the process anyway and winter comes a little early. The epispde ends with Rainbow at the winter park (i think) with Twi saying if she wants to come but Rainbow says that she will catch up and it shows her reading a book (Daring Do) to Tanks as he slumbers...

This was a really fun and very well put together episode. Rainbow Dash's song was really fun and she got the most screen time (this being a Rainbow Dash episode and all) the is one of the best episode so far.
Did i forget to say that Fluttershy made Rainbow Dash cry and there was alot of continuity call back showing that the writers care about the world building aspect of the show now.

The Bad: I didnt see anything wrong with this episode other than the fact it maybe out of season (being a winter episode and all) and when Rainbow Dash rages out she is really unpleasnt to like but still a good episode.

So what happenes when you cross Edge of Tommororw and Ground Hogs Day with MLP:FiM, you get this episode... i know mind blowing, so in this episode we have to indluge ourselves in to Applebloom and her nightmares... keep in mind that this is a CMC episode and nothing less... so time to review!

The Good: So in this episode we as i said earlier indulge ourselves to Applebloom, in the beginning Bloom is going to sleep and Jax's (AppleJack) sings her a nice little lullaby before she goes to sleep...

and may say that was really sweet of her to do so. On to the conflict! so as we go a sleep blissfully we see Bloom encouter general hardships of getting a cutie marks, but waking up she gets a Pest Control mark, which i question the economy and retrirement plans of the ponies, i mean why isnt there like a royal guard of ponies doing pest control, i guess archaic in this time, back to the topic at hand Bloom has to face her fears of acceptance cause y'know she says 'what if other ponies will hate me fy cutie mark'.. also on another note... (sorry Diamond Tiarra fans) I hate Tiarra she is mean as hell to the CMC, i know she is an antagonist to them but seriously... off topic

any way Bloom finds out that her shadow is up to this mischief and Luna explains that ponies that stress about there mark, they will be destined for this nightmare, so Bloom finds out that her friends are experince the same thing and they do an Astral Plane CMC rolecall. End (also they want to make a care package for Badseed, oops i mean BaBseed)

what i liked about this episode is that Luna had some actual diagloue, and she was very likable (unlike Celstia who just tells people what to do) i also liked the moral message this episode.. i thing it was trying to say 'dont let other people think you wont fit in' or something along the lines of that..
and Big Mac said something! i was overjoyed hearing that Big horse speak.. even though it was a dream/reailty illuison.

The Bad: Serioulsy guys i am pretty sure we had an episode similar in the previous seasons... like Scotaloo and her forest dreams or Swetie Belle and her beef with Rarity when the spotlight goes on the dresses... i mean seriously?

Conclusion: so this episode was really well, the opening permeire was really strong and the episodes to follow... Luna had actual purpose (which i am loving right now) and Big M had some speaking lines.. other than that the episode was genuinley likable, and i am loving Luna as favourite princess.

So i havce watched it, but did i like it??? being this is Freindship is Magic this will have moral lessons buy by god this episode was far better than imagined... today we review Castle Sweet Castle! letrs review!

So we start of with Twilight helping Fluttershy her clean all her animal friends b-cause well why not?? untill Fluttershy brings up the disscussion of going home... that is when Twilight obbsesivly wants to stay away form her new home and tries to to everything possible to evade the thought of returning...
In the next scene we have all of the five friends (i say 5 b-cause Twi was sleeping, no serioulsy), the friends disscuss how starnge Twi has been acting...telling how off Twi has been acting like staying at Rarity's place to organize daimonds for the whole afternoon...

After that Twi wakes up saying 'im pancake, i mean awake', which has to be one of the funniest lines of this episode, Twi confesses that she has been avoiding her house b-cause well she cant make her house a home b-cause its duanting experince for her.. which by all means its understandable.

So the friends make Twi go on a spa day and keep her away form her house, also Spike why so feminine? i mean seriously he acts more like a girl in this episode...
So the gang get to work but it doesnt go well so good... lets talk about there musical number/montage; first of the song is quiet good, and really catchy but i like there second one near the end but thats off topic.

Now Twi is at the salon and one of the most funniest moment happenes, you know besides Twi's radical hair, i mean mane.. its Bulk Biceps, so Spike orders a manly muscle massage and then well the scene explains itself also Spike has a Rarity plushie nice call back to continutiy.

Meanwhile the guys are trying to organize the mess that they have made, they come to an agreement and tidy everthing up.. this time realising there mistake early without the help of Twilight, which is far better in my opinion. As Twi is retuning home after the massage well Twi reminisce as they lost there old home, meanwhile the gang try to set up a plan (spoiler) they will use the roots of the golden oak library to make a swag looking tree chandelier, as the friends celebrate thier accomplishments over the past seasons..

All in all i liked this episode, the jokes were well timed and funny as i said, like the Twi hair or Spike's inner female or Muscle Moments... but this episode returns to the slice of life comedy that we are all used to.. i loved this episode, y'know after communist ponies incident... #StarlightCommunsim.. in layman's terms the episode is really good and very well paced b-cause of it... what do u guys think>?

is the episode good? or do u have a vendatta with this episode?

POST thoughts below, and plz have discretion when giving ur opinion, we all have our own thoughts and if thy wishes to swear b-cause why not? plz use ***** , k?

THIS IS MY FIRST REVIEW, I WILL IMPROVE OVERTIME SO EXPECT BETTER IMROVEMENT IN THE FUTURE! THANKS FOR READING.... Why did i put this bit in caps?!

I really have enjoyed the first season of this show (I finished it very recently). I reallly love this show's comedy, and its way of suspense (I binge watched it within 2-3 days) and now, the newest episode of season 2, episode 1? It was pretty good, I must say; and the newest opening song.... now the openings are awesome. I will link it a bit later. But first, the impressions!!!!!!!!! Let us rock!

Plot - In the second season of Noragami the main focus is on Bishamon, god of combat. She has many shinki due to her being unable to abandon spirits attacked by Ayakashi. She has a large group of shinki with her as leader, causing her trouble as she sometimes cannot tend to all of them properly, especially when one of them gets sick or is in pain. She has a strong hate for Yato, as a dark past binds the two of them. How will the horrifying events dated hundreds of years ago in combination with current evil happenings affect Yato and Yukine?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVkrSp05uPw

(Events of episode 1): Now, this episode takes place a few months after season 1, and its a new year, a new day. And well.... Yato is called to a baby-sitting job. Hiyuri tags along after her soul slips out... again. She and Yato and Yukine slay the phantom caused by the child after finding out it was created via room mirror. After that Yukine is off on his own all alone while Yato goes somewhere, all of this is going on while Bishamon it suffering from nightmares of the past and her pyhsical strain of handling so many regalia. Yukine meets an 'apparent' regalia of Bishamon and seems to be that he is working with the doctor that Bishamon called earlier in the episode.... Yep, this wont go well.

Animation and Sound: Animation generally looks better than last season; there is no real way to explain it... but it looks better. Music wise, its good. Same quality of music before, the music is good.

    Characters :

Yato - "Gods can do anything they want. Including hurting someone... Or taking their lives."

Yato is a god who attempts to build his own shrine. He wears a jersey and so-called fluffy scarf and refers to himself as "Yato God" (Yatogami). When his current Shinki (Divine Weapon) quit, he was unarmed until he met Hiyori and Yukine. He calls himself "delivery god" and often puts his own cell number on several common places in case someone needs his help. He usually charges for 5 yen, what Japanese people usually give when praying at a shrine.

He used to be a feared God of War, known as a "God of Calamity." Bishamon despises him for killing Toma, her Shinki, that she vows to take vengeance for.

    Kofuku affectionately calls him "Yatty."

    Yuki:
He died at a young age, making him miss his normal life as a middle schooler. He acts like his age, and was once stealing money from people with the excuse that it's okay since he's dead. After being "saved" by Hiyori, he becomes more obedient and respects Yato and Hiyori.
When he was alive he had trouble with his father as seen by Yato when he first obtains Yukine.

In a katana form, he finds Yato's sweaty hands so disgusting that he calls him "Drippy."

    Hiyori Iki:
Although the daughter of a respectable family, she's a martial arts-loving junior high-school student. After being saved by Yato, she becomes more prone to having out-of-body experiences. (She is a half-phantom)

She has an older brother. She also has a pink tail emerging from her body whenever she falls asleep.

    Bishamon:
The strongest Combat God who possesses many Shinki due to being unable to abandon spirits attacked by Ayakashi. She wants to kill Yato because in the past he supposedly killed one of her Shinki, Touma.

I watched season 1, I liked it, besides a 'few' animation derps, season one of Owari No Seraph (I watched the Funimation Dub) was good. Season 2? Now the first episode knows how to rock the boat when it comes to who you shall trust. Yep, no words can describe who you could root for in this episode. The Demon Company or the Vampires? YOU WILL NEVER KNOW.

Plot - Yuuichirou has reunited with Mikaela at the Shinjuku Battle. But Mikaela was turned into a vampire... To save the "family," and to protect his fellow members, Yuuichirou needed to gain knowledge and power. He searched for ways to bring back vampire to human beings, and at the same time, trained hard working on the Cursed Gear.

Meanwhile, Kureto calls Guren and tells him a shocking truth. That in one month, the main unit of the vampire will start attacking Tokyo. To get a head start against vampires, Kureto orders Guren to go to Nagoya. The noble extermination mission is about to open fire!

Events of the episode: (The opening scene was Shinoa interogating Guren about her sister) This season takes place after the "Shinjuku Battle" as stated in the plot above. In the after-math we learn that most of the crew (Shinoa's squad) are taken in for an 'inter-view' and well this doesnt pan out well for Yuu as he is well.... let's just say; he and his friend kimizuki and Yoichi are taken hostage for leverage because apparently Yuu is a 'spy'. We later find out that spell craft 'experimentation' causing what happened in the last episode to become for clear; Yuu and Mikaela are living subjects of the 'Hyakuya Sect' infamous for using oprhans (in there care) to expose them to apparent 'Serpah Gene'. What happens in the interview dear reader? Well Yuu meets the famed Harigri family (founders of the Demon army) and well let's just say; IT DOESNT GO TOO WELL. But they make it out alive. And now Yuu and friends want to master there Cursed gear to kill all vampires.

Animation & Sound: All good, no faults; both music and animation is just really great and the same level of quality as last season, so all in all, very good.

    Characters
Yuuichirou Hyakuya (百夜 優一郎): Yuuichirou Hyakuya is a member of Japanese Imperial Demon Army's Demon Moon Squad and the main protagonist of the Owari no Seraph series.

He was abandoned by his parents since he was a child and he ended up at Hyakuya Orphanage. Since then, the kids of this orphanage were his only family. A bit after while he was still a child, the vampires took him and the rest of the orphanage to their city to become "livestock." After Michaela gets possession of a map of the underground, both of them decide to escape the place with the rest of the children of the orphanage. However it is revealed that is was all a plan of Felid Bathory, one the Seven Founder, and the attempt to escape is frustrated leading to death of all the family except for him. After getting to the outside world he is found by Glen Ichinose, a captain of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. In order to take revenge for his family, he decides to join the Japanese Imperial Demon Army to gain the power he needs.

Yuuichirou possesses the "Seraph" gene, which is relevant to the forbidden taboo and the focal point of the story, "Seraph of the End". He possesses a mysterious power (revealed in episode 11) that causes him to try and attack everyone calling them 'sinners'. It is suggested this power may be called 'Seraph of the End'

Mikaela Hyakuya: Mikaela is the 2nd remaining survivor of the Hyakuya Orphanage, and best friend of Yuichiro. He was thought to have died when escaping from the city of vampire, but was alive and turned into a vampire. He fights to rescue Yuichiro who is been used by humans. Refusing to drink human blood, Mikaela drinks from Krul's blood instead

Guren Ichinose: Guren is Lieutenant Colonel of the “The Moon Demon Company”, Vampire Extermination Unit of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. He has led Yuichiro to join the Japanese Imperial Demon Army after he escaped the city of vampire. He is secretly attempting something to reform the Imperial Demon Army governed by the Hiragi Family. He plans on dethroning the Hīragi family. He was Mahiru Hīragi's lover, but when her experiments led to her become insane and transform into a demon, he killed her. His Demon Weapon is Mahiru-no-Yo, a possession-type demon weapon which takes the form of a katana and Mahiru herself.

Ferid Bathory: Ferid is the man who killed Yuichiro's family when they tried to escape the city of vampire. As a Seventh Progenitor vampire, he has much power but many times, he speaks nonsense. He seems to be plotting something with human behind everyone's back. He is extraordinary strong but rather laid-back and usually speaks nonsense. He warns Mikaela not to underestimate humans because they are greedy, sneaky and tricky

Shinoa Hiragi: Shinoa is the Squad Leader of “The Moon Demon Company”. Her origin is Hiragi Family who takes control of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, and is the real sister of Mahiru Hiiragi who developed the Cursed Gear. Is a subordinate of Lieutenant Colonel Guren, and was appointed to supervise Yuichiro Hyakuya.... and maybe falling for him.

Yoichi Saotome: Yoichi is a member of the "The Moon Demon Company” fighting vampires with Yuichiro. His sister has been killed by a vampire, and joined the troop for revenge. Although he is kind-hearted, he has a strong will and stand up against difficulty at times of emergency.

Shiho Kimizuki: Same as Yuichiro, Shiho belongs to the “The Moon Demon Company”. He is clear headed with excellent combat ability, but is cynical and is treated as a trouble maker among others. Has a sister ill in bed, and enlisted in the army in order to undergo the treatment. H also has a friendly rivalry with Yuu.

Mitsuba Sangu: Mitusuba is an elite who belongs to the Vampire Extermination Unit since 13 years old. Has known Shinoa for a long time. She thinks that she let a member die because of her selfishness, and since then focuses on teamwork during battle.

    Now... want the trailer???

This show reminds me alot of Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront) only with a wild twist. This takes an interesting twist for our MC; Saitama. Instead of over-coming a OP villain, its put the other way around, he is too powerful for his own good; hence nothing is good for him anymore; no battle worth his time. He feels empty.... or is he???

Plot - The story takes place in the fictional Japanese metropolis of City Z. The world is full of strange monsters that mysteriously appear and cause disasters. Saitama, the protagonist, is an exceptionally powerful hero who easily defeats the monsters or other villains with a single punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored with his powers and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can fight him.

On his adventures, he meets new friends, enemies, and his own disciple, the cyborg Genos, and joins the Heroes Association in order to gain fame for all of his efforts to defeat evil. Despite defeating many strong monsters that even the Heroes Association’s top members are unable to defeat, Saitama struggles to gain respect. Most people look down on him due to his plain physical appearance, and some accuse him of being a counterfeit hero. Only a small number of individuals recognize his incredible talent and humility towards others.

The show goes too much on moster attacks; it doesnt really provide us with a 'daily life of...' aspect of Saitama although, in the first episode we find out the how and the why he wanted to become one. We also near the end of the episode we see a number of different monster attacks.... along with that; at the end of the episode: We see a strange cyborg figure who is 'apparently' called: Genos (The Demon Cyborg).

Animation & Sound: Madhouse has done the animation.... and it was awesome. Just very amazing, very scene is fluid and lively, every scene was detailled. Just so, so, good. Music wise its pretty catchy, the opening theme song for One Punch and.... the the general tone of the music is awesome. Just awesome, just amazingly awesome.

The show takes an interesting turn for the super-hero genre, it feels somewhat parodied (at times) the show's humour (in my opinion) I find funny, although you cant take this show too seriously it would take away from the enjoyment, this show along with K:Return of Kings and Asterisk War I am looking foward too.... Looking foward to this season of anime for sure.

Asterisk War Review/Episode 1 Thoughts : https://mlpforums.com/blog/2448/entry-18204-the-asterisk-war-fall-anime-premiere-1st-episode-reviewthoughts/(please comment or somethin')
  10. Jeremiah
So, this was an upcoming anime of this fall: Was it good? Well yes and no. Don't get me wrong the first episode is really strong, decent at best. But... we'll see were this show goes. Expectations wise; not too high but not too low.

Plot - The Academy City on the water, Rikka (otherwise known as Asterisk) is the world's largest stage for the integrated battle entertainment, "Star Wars Festival." The young boys and girls of the "Starpulse Generation" belonging to the six academies made their wishes with Shining Armaments in their hands, vying for supremacy—Amagiri Ayato is one of them.

Ayato arrived at Rikka at the invitation of the Student Council President of the Seidoukan Academy, Claudia, and right after that he incurred the wrath of the "Petalblaze Witch" Julis, and ended up having to duel her.

(Events of episode 1): After the duel between Julis (there 'duel' is made void by Claudia), Ayato is taken to Claudia's office suite were he says that sister 'attended' Asterisk Academy although school records show other-wise, but combat data from the wepaon she used was still somewhat presesnt (and in the opening intro before the opening credits, we see 'her' in a under-ground battle of sorts). Ayato after goes to class; Julis says that she 'owes' him one after getting her hankerchief back (which caused the fight because... fan-serivce) and Ayato makes a new friend: the member of the newpaper club (sorry, forgot his name) and learns some back-ground history on Julis.

Yeah. Just your avergae set-up episode... but they went and explained most things straight of the bat along with some incredible action scenes (opening fight between Ayato v Julis) and leaves the mystery of Ayato's sister. We also know the ranking system for the 'Genestalla' race: Along with getting information on how Julis became top dog of the school (she didnt get along well with others; most people took it she was being anti-social hence Julis rose thruogh the ranks within weeks). At the end we see a rival for Julis calling for blood claiming he would 'surpass' Julis then saying Julis fights for 'fun', Julis annoyed then shows (sory forgot his name; info about the show right now is finite at best as of right now) showing her flames that she means bussines. By the way Julis is a 'strena' Genestalla; also known (in english) a 'witch' her most people know her as: Rank 5 of Seidōkan Academy and also known as "Gruene Rose" or the 'Witch of the Resplendent Flames'. The episode ending with Ayato saying her full name in curiousty.

"The greatest academy battle entertainment, begins here!" (A Hunger Games based-like tournament to show which academy has the best of the best; broadcast all over the world. The battle is called: Festa)

Animation & Sound: The animation for this looks amazing! A-1 Pictures has done an amazing job when it came to the effects of the 'Genestalla' powers and weaponry, as well as making the city of Asterisk look JUST AMAZING. 3D CGI is meh though (you see a little at the early through the episode).

The OST (Soundtrack) for this show is just amazing, the techno rock vibe I get from this is so awesome. Also 'duel' music for the show is awesome. (duels are the 1v1 battles; Julis V Ayato is a duel) the music for this show is awesome, visuals just as awesome. A-1 Pictures done good in both departments. And the ending credits song, man.... listen to it. "Brave, new world" sung by Shiena NISHIZAWA sounds brilliant but music is subjective so, its your call on that.

    AYATO AMAGIRI:
A scholarship student who transferred into Seidoukan Academy High School. Although he's carefree and upstanding by nature, he can also be somewhat boneheaded; a newbie at romance, he's quite clueless. Born to a long line of practitioners of an ancient martial art called the Amagiri Shinmei Style, he's been a student of the style since childhood, and his skills are elite. Although he was born with an extraordinary amount of mana, that power has been sealed.

    JULIS-ALEXIA VON RIESSFELD:
The first classmate Ayato encounters at school. With bright rose-colored hair and blue eyes, she's a princess of a small European country called Riesstania. Prideful and strong-willed, she has few friends, but at heart she's gentle and sometimes sweet. As a Strega (magic-wielder), her skills are among the best in Asterisk; able to manipulate flames at will, she's a member of the Seidoukan Academy's Page One (Top Twelve), Rank #5. Also known as the Witch of the Resplendent Flames (Glühen Rose)

    CLAUDIA ENFIELD:
The president of the student council at Seidoukan Academy. She is the daughter of an executive at the conglomerate that supports Seidoukan Academy. Always with a smile on her face, she's mild-mannered and courteous to all, but underneath it all she has a calculating personality. A member of Seidoukan Academy's Top Twelve (Page Ones), Rank #2. Her alias is the Master of a Thousand Eyes (Parca Morta).

    SAYA SASAMIYA:
A childhood friend of Ayato's, who lived next door to him during grade school. The daughter of a meteor researcher, she entered Seidoukan Academy hoping to extol the virtues of the Luxes her father built. Though laconic and devoid of expression, it's not as if she has no emotions; she just doesn't show them. She's an expert when it comes to handling guns, but she has little interest in combat, and doesn't take part in any official ranking matches.

    KIRIN TOUDOU:
A first year at Seidoukan Academy Junior High. Born into the founding family of the Toudou Style, which has numerous disciples, she possesses natural-born talent when it comes to sword skills. In fact, she's even better than Ayato, but she's a timid, withdrawn girl, befitting of her age. She's undefeated in both duels and official matches, and reigns as Seidoukan Academy's Rank #1. Her alias is Lightning Blade Speed.

Overall: Concept sounds cool, set up was average; I will be watching this, I personally think this will end up a farly good series. All in all: It looks promising.

Ah. This episode was just amazing, its message. The episode was just amazing, just amazing. And guess who returns? Coco Pommel! So... shall we get started??

Plot - The map summons Applejack and Rarity to the city of Manehattan, where they find their friend Coco Pommel in need of help reviving her neighborhood's community theater. Unable to find any volunteers to assist, the two offer to help Coco by themselves. Applejack takes up the task of repairing the derelict theater at the local park, but she fails to finish before her scheduled time. She instead builds a small stage outside the park, where they attract passersby with a play depicting the original theater's creation. The play is a success and inspires the citizens of Manehattan to do more for their community.

Its message; its really sweet, I think. Even the smallest of labours can help a community. I thought it was a nice message. Now Rarity was just awesome, classic Rarity + Manehattan = This episode was awesome. Seeing the episode list I am really hyped for this season, so...I am looking foward to this season. Applejack? She was alright, I liked her in this episode, she was just being AppleJack, yeah... not many words to describe her in this episode although her reaction to the 'big city' was nice, its good to see AppleJack still having fears of the big city even after she moved back. BTW I HATE RariJack ship. RIP: AppleJack's hat 2010-2015.

We also got a little insight onto Coco Pommel backstory as she grew up with the community theater... So yeah. And last but not least; PONY DIVERESTY!

    RANK: B+

    *insert KP review here*

Sorry I had to make this a short one y'all.

So, I came optimistic into this show, and boy did that pay off. This show is amazing and isnt crazy with its vulgarness, it keeps it fresh, and funny. I never truly like 'South Park' for a numbe rof reasons... but this show is awesome, everything I wanted in this show is awesome!

NOTE: I have seen season 1 up till this point, and have seen the first episode of season 2 by the time of this blog

Plot: Rick is an eccentric, elderly, alcoholic scientist who has moved in with his veterinary surgeon daughter Beth's family. He spends most of his time taking his young grandson Morty (and later his granddaughter Summer) on dangerous, outlandish adventures throughout the cosmos and alternate universes. Compounded with Morty's already unstable family life, these events cause Morty much distress at home and school.
Each episode (except for the pilot) ends with a post-credits scene that completes each episode.

Animation and Sound: The animation is something like Regular Show or Adventure Time. Nothing too amazing but its really cool, soundtrack... its ok, the opening theme is all cool... but some episodes end in a different end credits song... which is a nice twist.

    Chracthers:

Rick Sanchez (voiced by Justin Roiland) – A genius scientist who is the father of Beth Smith, and the maternal grandfather of Morty. His alcoholic tendencies lead his daughter's family to worry about the safety of their son Morty. The series is often retroscripted for Rick's lines. He displays "diagnosable qualities of various mental illnesses." An extremely intellectual character that views his time as valuable, he eschews the usefulness of many ordinary human conventions such as school, marriage, and even love. His reaction to the mundane requests asked of him by Morty and other family members suggests he considers himself wholly superior to them, though in several instances throughout the series he shows a lonelier side. He frequently 'burp-talks' words in the middle of a sentence while speaking, presumably as a result of his alcoholism. He is identified as being the Rick of Dimension C-137.

Mortimer "Morty" Smith, Sr. (voiced by Justin Roiland) – Rick's good-hearted but easily distressed 14-year-old grandson is frequently dragged into Rick's misadventures. He is often reluctant to follow Rick's plans, and he often ends up traumatized by the unorthodox methods Rick uses to 'fix' situations. The Morty of C-137 is referred to as the "Mortiest Morty" by Rick, due to his courage, which nearly every other Morty lacks due to their main use being makeshift cloaking devices.

All in all, i would keep watching. (Sorry for the short review; but first reactions are generally shorter then normal so... deal with it until i make a FULL review)

This is a top 10 of my favourite anime ending songs... this is my list so yeah, and if you cant view these songs well I am sorry but Youtube makes up the rules... so yeah. Now on to the top 10. If you want to listen to the songs, click on the name of the song like 1. _______ and then click on said link. This list is in descending order.

    1.
    (Namae no Nai Kaibutsu)

I love this ending because it has an energy and techno vibe in it, and you cant skip it. It has an addicting beat to it, and Synthesizers and a awesome singer (Ryo- Supercell), so yeah, it is awesome, I you shouldnt skip this one. No. 1 for real

    2.
Zetsubou Billy by Maximum the Hormone (Death Note ED2)

This ending is hard-core metal and just awesome, really breath taking when it comes music wise.... its got a dark tone, and lyrics you cant understand.... and the band name?! What's up with that? You cant skip it... I have linked the full length version though.

    3.
Trust me (Durarara ED1) - Yuya Matsushita / Never say Never -Three lights Down Kings

    (Durarara!!x2 ED1)

This is the only exception as I cant choose between these two, both have an awesome beat, and melody to it, and Trust Me is too damn catchy and just it gives me those feels and well... Never say Never is well it sounds like a rush of excitment with a hint of awesome Synthesizers to boot.

    4.
    - Sawano Hiroyuki (Owari no Seraph - Seraph of the End)

This song has that post-war time vibe to it, which is very fitting to the anime, and this works well every-time the anime ends... not much to say other than its slow beat is almost hypnotic, almost.

    5.
    - Sawano and Mizuki (Aldnoah.Zero ED2 S1)

The only reason this song is number 5 is because isnt shown too often in the show, only episodes 4, 7, 8, 10, and 11. But it is to awesome, even the techno beat gives you that feelz. The amount of energy and fore-shadowing this song brings to each episode is really awesome though.

    5.
Wired Life - Ao no Exorcist (ED1)

This song has it all a jazz beat, an awesome visuals to boot, and a wired beat to it, although its hard to find so... yeah, I found a version of it that isnt speed up so... yeah.

    6.
    - UNISON SQUARE GARDEN (Kekkai Sensen - Blood Blockade Battlefront)

I love this song because its like a bitter-sweet party song, the chorus is catchy and it hits you with the feels... its a perfect fit for this anime, and some times listening to it gets me a bit sad, but its a biter sweet song, so what can you do?

    7. Akame ga Kill ED -

I love this song because its tragic, very melo, very sad... it hits you with the feels, and the piano one I found (hyperlikned) is also very good. I suggest listening to this.

    8. Gangsta. (TV) ED -
"Yoru no Kuni" (Country of the Night)
    by Annabel

If you have watched the anime "Gangsta." well this ending song is the perfect fit for the show. It's sad, its melody and slow pace along with the singing is amazing, and it just draws you in after it's done playing.

    9. Charlotte (シャーロット) - Ending / ED Yake Ochinai Tsubasa

I love this show, by the time of this top 10, they have aired the last episode. This song is just amazing, hands down I love this song.

    10. Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan Ending:
    Hallelujah
    By : la la larks『Sky Wizards Academy』

Due to copyright reasons the video is muted, the YouTuber is called
Aeons Line and the video has been muted, sorry for that. But... this song isnt THE BEST. It's catchy, but that is all. Yeah, I don't see any depth to this song for the show. Hell, the opening song is better. But yeah. That is my top 10, folks.

There will be an upcoming 10 anime of THIS YEAR coming soon in December. want to see what anime of this year was/is?

Ah... I ship Cadence with Spike. Oh.. The King Of Depravity has left for the day, greetings! I am the King of Despair, our former King is on a 'trip' as he says, so I will take thy audience... Today we marvel at Princess Spike! Let's Jam! Also on a side note; Cadence X Spike was bound to happen...

    Story-
Princess Twilight is left exhausted and falls asleep after hosting a large delegation in Canterlot, and Princess Cadance asks Spike to make sure no one disturbs Twilight. When delegates begin making complaints to Twilight, Spike makes his own decisions on Twilight's behalf instead of waking her. He soon becomes power hungry and tries to complete Twilight's other tasks in her place. Spike's poor decisions quickly lead to a chain of disasters across Canterlot, and a mob of angry delegates go to confront Twilight. Spike manages to keep them out of Twilight's room, but Twilight awakens refreshed and discovers the problems Spike has caused. Spike apologizes to the delegates, and they forgivingly help him fix a ceremonial statue made from gemstones to show Spike that no matter how big or small their role, they can work together to create something beautiful. But we end on a cliffhanger sneeze....

    Animation & Sound-
It came standard with most MLP episodes... animation wise, but sound wise it was the same. What I was saying is that it was the same, nothing special but... it was just 'nice'. On to the juicy part.

    Positives
Not much here just I thought it was 'meh'.

Candence/Spike- There dynamic between them was really well done in my opinion, and I the King of Despair would totally ship them both

Working Class- I liked the emphasis on the working class ponies and all in all thee reactions came standard.

    Negatives
As for Spike he came he came of like a generic tyrant, normal Spike abuse nothing more, I really dont know after watching the epside it was just very lack-luster....

Sorry for the lack luster review but this episode wasnt the best... So instead watch this video and enjoy! May Despair be our reckoning!! See you next review

This show is really over the top, action packed but very out-landish at times but still very fun besides that it is based on the anime fighting game called 'BlazBlue', so... humans the King of Depravity is going to review BlazBlue Alter Memory episodes 1-3, lets Rock!

    Story & Characters
In the year 2199, humanity eagerly waits for the dawn of the new century, following the end of a series of devastating magic wars. Word spreads that Ragna the Bloodedge, an SS-class rebel with the highest ever bounty on his head and a powerful form of Ars Magus known as the "Azure Grimoire", has appeared in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. To collect the bounty and his Azure Grimoire, a motley array of fighters converge on Kagutsuchi.

Ragna the Bloodedge- The main protagonist of the BlazBlue series. Also known as the Grim Reaper, he is feared by the NOL for being the most powerful individual to have ever rebelled against them since the Ikaruga Civil War. His actions, which included destroying countless number of their branches, have labeled him the most wanted criminal and caused him to receive the largest bounty ever in the history of the NOL. He possesses a powerful form of ars magus called the Azure Grimoire, or simply referred to as the titular BlazBlue, which is often either the secondary or primary target of those after him and his bounty. His ultimate goal is to destroy the NOL, for he blames them for destroying his family. He is Jin Kisaragi's biological brother, whose rivalry with him stems from an incident that happened when their sister Saya was presumably killed. His right arm is mechanical because his real one was cut off by Terumi, who had taken control of Jin's mind. He was resurrected by Rachel as a Dhampir, causing one of his green eyes to turn red and his once-blond hair to white. The BlazBlue he possesses is only a fragment of an imitation; the true Grimoire is actually destined to be wielded by Noel Vermillion.

Noel Vermillion- A young girl who was found amidst the burning fields of Ikaruga where she was rescued, and then adopted by the family of Vermillion and is the main heroine of the series. It was because of her outstanding combat activity that she became a high-ranking member of the NOL using the Nox Nyctores revolver Arcus Diabolus: Bolverk, which apparently does not fire actual bullets but rather inflicts damage by creating distortions in dimensional space. Noel also seems to be extremely reliant psychologically on her guns, to the point where she breaks down crying if they are taken away from her. She was made Jin's subordinate by the NOL, although Jin treated her poorly due to her resemblance of Saya. When Jin rushed off to hunt down Ragna without permission from the NOL, Noel was assigned to stop him and bring him back to his post at the Library.

    Animation & Sound-
The animation is very fluid and generally really nice looking, the action/battle scences are really well done but sometimes do fell underwhelming at times but they are very well done, sound wise the scence music is 'meh' and I hate the ending song, but the opening song is 'ok' I guess but it isnt the cheese of amazing the soundtrack as for this department is fairly ok here, nothing to special I guess.

The english dub casting is fairly well done, although i havent seen the sub, it is a fun show to watch so give it a try if you want.

Romace anime has never been my strong suit, but this anime opened my eyes... This anime is a breath of fresh air for me, I dont know about you but this is just a really fun show, both comedy and romance aspects are handled really well so far... Today The King of Depravity will semi-review; The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan episodes 1-3, lets jam!!!

    Story and Characters -
The setting is based on the alternate universe depicted in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, in which Haruhi Suzumiya never formed the SOS Brigade. In this world, Yuki Nagato is not a stoic alien but rather a shy and tentative girl who is a member of North High's literature club alongside Ryoko Asakura, her best friend, and Kyon, who she has a crush on. The series follows Yuki and her companions as she develops feelings for Kyon and becomes involved in some strange mysteries herself.

Kyon- The narrator and main male protagonist of the series. Kyon is a student who unintentionally runs into Haruhi and is the only normal human in the SOS Brigade. Even though Haruhi is the title character, the story is told through Kyon's viewpoint. Through narration and dialogue, he provides his insight, perspective, and opinions on events. Kyon is often annoyed by Haruhi's demands, but also thinks that a world without Haruhi would be uninteresting. Kyon is also "John Smith" from Haruhi's earlier memories, and was the one who painted the hieroglyph in the field. Very early on, Yuki, Mikuru and Itsuki each individually, revealed what they are to Kyon, after which, they begin on many journeys throughout time and space. In an interview with Nagaru Tanigawa, the author admitted that Kyon was supposed to be portrayed as an esper in his original conception, but while writing The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Kyon was instead changed into an ordinary student. He is also the main character of the spin-off series The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan.

Haruhi Suzumiya- is the title character, the main female protagonist of the series, and leader of the SOS Brigade whose energetic and eccentric character proves to be the driving force for the series. She has a mind for adventure which often leads her subordinates to be swept into her plans. While being smart, beautiful and energetic Haruhi was eyed as an oddball ever since middle school: she had set all the desks from her classroom out into the hallway, painted stars on the roofs, and even painted a huge hieroglyph out on the school field. Haruhi cannot stand boredom so she comes up with various activities for the SOS Brigade, making them participate whether they like it or not.

Yuki Nagato- . She the main heroine of the spin-off series The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan in which she is not an alien, but a shy girl who has a crush on her fellow literature club member, Kyon.

    Animation & Sound-
The animation is really good for this show, and I like the background music it plays in the scence, it really works for it, although this I dislike the opening and ending song.... it a dread to listen too. Other than that it ok in this side.

Other than that it reallly good, and worth a watch in dub or sub.

Anime and supernatural genre go hand in hand when it comes to anime as a whole... we have Hellsing Ultimate, Black Butler and etc... but today we talk about demons and devils because in this anime to things rule. Exorcism. Pain. Today Ao no Ekusoshisuto or Blue Exorcist. Let's Rock!

On a side note; all first reactions blogs are small reviews on the first 3 episodes of the show, not the first 3 seasons or anything. This is my general thoughts on ___________ show and is not a full blooded review. (Spoilers... Obviuosly)maybe))

Story and Characters- The story revolves around Rin Okumura, a teenager possessing abnormal strength and endurance who, along with his twin brother Yukio, was raised by Father Shiro Fujimoto, an Exorcist. One day, Rin learns that he and Yukio are the sons of Satan, the strongest of all demons. Witnessing Shiro dying to protect him, Rin ends up doing what his guardian asked him never to do: draw the demon-slaying blade Kurikara, which restrains his demonic powers, from its scabbard.

From that moment on, Rin not only gains permanent demonic features like fangs, pointed ears, and a tail, but also the power to ignite himself into blue flames that can destroy almost anything they touch. At Fujimoto's funeral, Rin has an encounter with Fujimoto's friend Mephisto Pheles, who agrees with Rin's wish to become an Exorcist like his guardian to become stronger and to defeat Satan. Rin enrolls at the prestigious True Cross Academy, which is actually the Japanese branch of an international organization dedicated to protect the human realm, Assiah, from demons and other creatures from the demonic realm, Gehenna. Rin takes part in a special Exorcist course, the existence of which is known only by a few. Much to his surprise, he finds that his brother, Yukio, is already a veteran exorcist and becomes one of his teachers. Thus Rin's journey to become an Exorcist begins, accompanied by his brother and his fellow students who quickly become his friends and comrades-in-arms.

Rin Okumura- Is the fifteen-year-old protagonist of the story. He is a son of Satan born from a human woman and is the inheritor of Satan's powers. His powers were sealed at birth into the demon-slaying blade Kurikara by Mephisto Pheles, the True Cross Academy principal, allowing him to live a normal human life for nearly 15 years with his twin brother Yukio and his foster father Shiro Fujimoto. Rin becomes aware of his true identity after Kurikara can no longer seal his powers.

Yukio Okumura- Is Rin's younger twin brother. When it was discovered that the woman impregnated by Satan was going to have twins, it was believed that Satan's powers would be split between them. Due to the weakness of Yukio's body, however, he did not inherit any of Satan's powers, thus being born fully human with the full extent of Satan's powers going to Rin.Yukio did. Yukio secretly trained to become an Exorcist from the age of seven in order to protect Rin through the help of Fujimoto. While both Yukio and Rin are in their first year at True Cross Academy, Yukio is already an instructor at the Exorcist cram school.

This plot is awesome, and Depravity can't wait to see the outcome in the finale, the ending of an anime is paramount. The story execution was very well done in the pilot and it lives the King lingering for more... Also comedy and humour work well for the episodes and our protagonist is very likable and his attitude although Depravitity can't say the same for his brother Yukio. He is cool and BA but he is very dull sometimes but still a great addition to the cast

Animation & Sound- The series was adapted into an anime television series by A-1 Pictures during 2011 and adapted into an anime film, Regarding the animation, it is very soild in presentation, action scences are well animated and the blue fire effect is really cool (eye candy). As for the music, the opening theme is really catchy and but I don't like the ending song, it is just 'meh'.

Also the dub is so awesome! Funimation has done it again... The casting for the dub is perfect I like the over the top reactions by Bryce Papenbrook, very good dub I say.

Inspired by a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, Kato tried to work the angle of brothers fighting monsters into a story. She eventually decided on making the story about demons and exorcists, thus conceiving Blue Exorcist .Due to exorcists being the main idea of the story, the manga features a lot of Biblical references... so yeah facts!

I can't wait for what is to come from this series, also theree is a guy in this show called Mephisto Pheles (Chairman of True Cross Academy's Japanese branch) and is called Johann Faust V and well is quirkyness reamins me alot of Pinkie Pie, so yeah...

I will watch this series and Trinity Blood and enjoy both at my leisure. Look out for Blood Blockade Battle-Front first reaction and Serpah of the End first reaction later this week, good day to you all! and may Depravitiy run by you... and for the record most of these animes all have english dubs so yeah, any anime i talk about here is in english so don't worry.

So in this episode we return to Equestria but this time the Gala has returned and the Mane 6 are invited but Discord is well... he is Discord, So John De Lancie has done one of the best performances ever in MLP in this episode but does this rack up better unlike our filler 2 weeks ago... Let's Rock!

What Happened- So in today's episode Discord is having there 'tea time' (on tuesday) untill Fluttershy broke the news that she is going with another pony to the Gala, this of course displeases Discord which then causes him to over react and do things he may or may not regrets...

First he creepely visits pike to ask where in Equestria is Twilight, then he pays a visit to Rarity and AJ and asks if anyone wants to go to the Gala with him... of course he becomes to shy and he misses the chance. He later visits Pinkie at the Cakes shop... where he orders ALL the cakes and then cancels his order after seeing Fluttershy with 'Treehuger', this makes him mad and well you know... he was being all jealous etc...

Then he is at home murrmering to himself until he gets an envlope saying that he invited to the Gala, and then he get The Smooze with him... He goes causing dissary at the Gala for example Rarity, Slime everywhere you see where i am going with this...

The Gala is run a mock when The Smooze is inside, and is sent out 2 times before turning into a hulking juggernaut of slime and messing with the Gala before Treehugger quite litteraly tames the beast with 'sweet vibes'. Discord angered goes all MLG evil on Treehuger and almost puts Tree the 4th dimension (where evil takes form of a sock puppet). After that the episode ends in clarity as Disocrd realises his mistake and apologieses to Treehugger and Twilight also makes an apology to Celstia after this Gala gets ruined but Celstia says she enjoyed the company of Discord even laughing to one of his jokes

All in all this episode was the best so far...

The Good- this episode was really awesome and this episode showed John De Lancie's perfomance as the spirit of chaos to be the best so far, also the Gala costumes look amazing and the comedy being very well placed like that Maud joke, also there was good continuty on Fluttershy "I met her on the trip to see the breezies". also there was a 'cutie mark' hinting in the AJ and Rarity Carousel Boutique.

The Bad- so in this episode there was few things wrong with this episode, for one the Crusaders were just being annoying but they did have a sweet moment with AJ and Treehugger in my opinon isnt my favourite pony in this episode, she was a bit too hippy for me other than that Discord's friendship was tested.
