Thanks! Okay, now to get more than 3 friends on my list. Though, it feels weird when I don't actually know the person, you know?

  3. When your niece is waching TV with your sister, then an advertisement for the NEW PRINCESS TWILIGHT SPARKLE comes on, and then... "Mummy, uncle Arpeggio would like that!"
  4. I love both Equestria Girls movies. I don't know why I love them so much, I just do. The fact that the first brony meet up I attended was the first Equestria Girls at the cinema might have something to do with it. I had a blast. I love the way the audience was positioned to relate to Twilight being new to a school. I have felt that feeling of "this strange new world" many times. Love all of the songs, the villains were intense, human versions of the ponies was a fresh, interesting take. I love the movies so much, I've been watching bits of them every single morning during weekdays, for about a year and a half. Every. Single. Morning. And Flash is a nice guy, I like him he's cool.
  5. Well, to be honest the high school motif/metaphor is one of the things that makes it so relatable, personally. Though, I get that some may say it gets a bit predictable after a while, you know: "Okay, evil person comes in to hypnotise the school to do their evil bidding, Okay? Good." Thankfully, it never gets old for me, for some reason.
  6. I freaking LOVE the first one, and I love the second in a different sort of way. I enjoyed the first slightly more than the second. I love them so much I watch a bit of either of them just before I go to work. Every. Single. Day. The intro to the first, especially. As for RR not having a main character, I was comfortable with that because it's more like an episode where that is very much the case. Both Sunset Shimmer and The Dazzlings had me on the edge of my seat in terms of a villains, but Shimmer seemed so sinister and unpredictable.
  7. They don't necessarily have to have lived for 1000 years. But they have to have lived a long time certainly, to have lived in the Starswirl times. Unless of course the whole time travel thing happened. Personally, I like the approach that the fan fic, An Open Door had on it. It just implies that they've lived for centuries, and that the gems kept them youthful.
  8. Thanks for the warm welcome, everypony, I greatly appreciate it! /)
  9. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy How did you find MLP Forums?: Google, while looking up BABSCon, think. It looked like a pretty sweet forum. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: My friend told me about it on Skype, and I was like "oh, so that's what's been getting around?" First clip I ever saw was Rarity whining and then Fluttershy raging at the Gala. "huh. Looks pretty funny."I watched the first episode, laughing at this little purple unicorn using magic to get books down from library shelves. Didn't expect it to grow into one of my greatest hobbies. Hey, there. I call my ponified self Arpeggio Sweep which is a musical term, because I play guitar and I'm in a metal band. I like metal and pony music, electric guitars and video games. I believe I became a brony in the middle of 2011. The first time Equestria Girls came to the cinemas was my first meetup. Since then I've been going to meetups and conventions, met some of the VA's and writers, made a ton of friends in the community, and have had a blast of a time. Australia may very well not have it's single MLP convention again because of the low number of attendance, which makes me very sad indeed. So one day, I hope to attend a U.S. convention. …Hey, it's only on the other side of the world. I guess the only other thing to say is yay for ponies!
