  1. How do you feel about the games that are only about 3 hours long? Like destiny was? You only got about maybe... 20 missions? but hardly any story at all; all they tell you is that the traveler is fighting the darkness and that you have to stop it. Kind of cheesy if you ask me.

I haven't played Destiny, so I can't really say. I don't mind short games though, and I think it depends on the game, as with the other scenario with DLC. I guess you could consider Binding of Isaac to be a short game, though there are a lot of characters to unlock and replay the game with, and I would consider that an excellent game. It's short but there is a lot of detail in the plot.

  2. Never implied you were wrong, sorry if i gave that impression. Its just that it drives me crazy when they can't even think before they "try" to make something for DLC content, its like they were drunk when they made half the stuff last year. Its usually  not even a full year before we see the DLC available; that just says they never even tried. If they even had one bit of sense left, they would take more time to come up with better ideas and release it the next year.

YOu can't make something just like that and expect it to succeed, it doesn't work that way.

It was just a misunderstanding, I guess. Unfortunately, I don't have an extended opinion, because I don't play a lot of games with DLC. I think it just depends on the game though. Like I said, Killing Floor is a game that doesn't rely on DLC to be successful even though you can get DLC for it, so I see no problem with it. It's the games that are basically useless blank slates until you spend $50 on DLC that drives me crazy. It's just a cash grab, and I'm always surprised to see people actually playing them.

  3. Yes, but it takes up space, and only the story DLC are important as Discordian said. Characters, guns, etc, are not really DLC worthy to begin with. They can add more by updates, Defiance does this very thing, and doesn't really need DLC to accomplish their goals. Sure the game isn't great, but just makes my point.

Well, that's your opinion. In my opinion, some DLC is worth it. Maybe not to everyone and it depends on the game and DLC even for me, but at least in the examples I gave in my other post, it'd be worth it.

  4. I didn't know this was a thing that happened. ALL OF THE SADFACES. CHILDHOOD (teenagehood?) BROKEN. :(

    What's his new stuff like?

Yeah, it happened over a year ago. He was really supportive and there for his fans though and has really made an effort to still be involved with them via Twitter. Frank has been involved a lot with the fans too. I can't say the same for the rest of them though.

His new stuff is likened to the Britpop genre. I wouldn't say that it's bad, but it's not really what I'm into. Still, I'm glad he hasn't dropped off the radar and is doing something that he likes.

  5. I don't think all DLC is bad. For example, I like and have bought DLC for Killing Floor, and I don't think it ruins the game at all to have it. It doesn't really effect gameplay. On the other hand, you have a game like The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, which is a really great concept, but is completely ruined by being F2P and has too much DLC which makes the game almost unplayable without it.

  6. I've been a fan of MCR for years. It's a shame that they broke up, but Gerard seems to be doing well on his own. I'm not really into his solo stuff and wasn't a big fan of MCR's last album, but it's still good to hear that he's doing well for himself.

  7. Do you guys have room outdoors for tomatoes? My space is pretty cramped right now, but I dream of having my own little space outside that's good for plants that need more sunlight.

I don't have the time or resources to prep my yard for a big garden, but I've got a little space on my deck for a container garden, which is what I normally do. Even if you've got a teeny space, that's still probably big enough for one good-sized tomato plant.

  8. I really don't have many friends that I could call true friends. I have trouble connecting with people both offline and online, but I think this is because I'm just really shy and have somewhat eccentric tastes and interests. I'm working on it though and hope to make some real friends this year by getting out of my comfort zone a lot more.

I'm not much for "friend collecting" and would prefer that people say something before simply adding me as a friend, but if anyone wants to have genuine conversations about anything, feel free to message me. I have a lot of free time and would love to get to know new people here; especially considering I don't have any friends who also love MLP.
