It was just a misunderstanding, I guess. Unfortunately, I don't have an extended opinion, because I don't play a lot of games with DLC. I think it just depends on the game though. Like I said, Killing Floor is a game that doesn't rely on DLC to be successful even though you can get DLC for it, so I see no problem with it. It's the games that are basically useless blank slates until you spend $50 on DLC that drives me crazy. It's just a cash grab, and I'm always surprised to see people actually playing them.
