Frostine walked about, trying to find a place to sleep for the night. She looked around to make sure no monsters would jump out of nowhere and attack her. Not that I couldn't defend myself... she thought. Frostine decided not to let her fear take over her.

I would pick firing. Mostly because I'd grab the rifle and threaten to do the same to them.

Midnight bit her lip in thought, then an idea popped in her mind. " We should use our alicorn magic against the empire! Amber, you said yourself. If we converge our alicorn magic, we'd be over powered!" The hope lost in the young pony had finally found it's way back into her heart.

I think it's hard to tell. Equestria doesn't have elemental magic, it has light and dark magic. Within each of those sections, you can create different spells, fire magic, changing magic, ect. -
"Amber, I think we need to do something about the Sombran Empire fast!" Amber's panicking was contagious, "What do we do? My element is still stuck to my wing, and useless for defense!" Midnight sadly flapped her wings. Omigosh omigosh! she inwardly screamed.

"I think Amber might be right..." Midnight shivered in fear, "The Sombran Empire was a dark and gloomy place, lost in time. If the Sombran Empire is back, that means time is going back too." She had read about this empire in her studies, it was a very scary thought.

Midnight flittered over to the guard, "Yeah, school's hold children, but they don't hold princesses, you know." She raised her left brow, softly landing her hooves to the ground. "Maybe you're in the wrong place...did you make a wrong turn and accidentally end up in a school?"

"Don't worry, Amber!" Midnight cheered, easily flapping her wings and lifting off the ground. She had experience with flying, "See? Easy as pie! Or cake? Which is easier?!" Midnight softly landed, "I could teach you, if you want." She smiled from ear to ear, Midnight was having fun.

Midnight smiled a little, "Okay!" "So where will we go?" she asked, a new pip in her step, "The Everfree?" The foal didn't shiver or cower at the Everfree, it kind of seemed like home to her. She used to be a bat pony, and vampire bat would fly there. It almost comforted her to see others of her kind.
