spoiler Will we get episodes with other Pie sisters?
Golden Triangle replied to snowflame's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
"Marble literally has less of a vocabulary than BIG MAC." I see some fault in your comparison there. Big Mac doesn't have a small vocabulary; he's actually spoken a lot more since Season 2. Besides, if Big Mac can form full sentences, who's to say that Marblle doesn't have that ability as well? Shy people can have other traits besides being shy. -
How will the Mane 6 battle future villains
Golden Triangle replied to heavens-champion's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
When Friendship IS Magic, every pony who doesn't want friends will either be sentenced to being good all along (They are that way because of a secondary cause, and can be redeemed) or to being evil for the sake of evil, and being killed off (And then they will be redeemed outside of the show's cannon; in the MLP comics, or just in some writer's sympathetic fantasy). -
I confess that I don't feel emotion as much as I absorb other people's emotions. I can even tell a person's feelings if they're not even in the same room.

mega thread Do you have any headcanons/theories?
Golden Triangle replied to Odyssey's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I've always had this theory that ponies only get their cute marks when helping someone in need. I know it sounds rather cliche but my theory can be used to explain many of the controversies about cutie marks people have been having lately, For example, the reason Sunburst got his cutie mark before Starlight did is that he helped her when she was in need and then leaves her, prompting her to want to find a solution to help her in her lonely life- and the lives of others as well, which is where Starlight gets her cutie mark; helping others in her situation. Another controversy going around is about the Cutie Mark Crusader's new cutie marks. Some people were upset that they got their cutie marks for helping Diamond Tiara and not getting them for their individual talents (Singing, Scootering, and Carpentry). The truth is, they've spent almost their whole lives helping other ponies (and each other). Why do you think they tried to help Pipsqueak or Troubleshoes? Because it's their secret talent. This theory can also be used for all of the Mane 6 (except for Twilight Sparkle). Just think about it.... Rainbow Dash- Got her cutie mark for defending Fluttershy. Pinkie Pie- Got her cutie mark for helping her family smile. Fluttershy- Got her cutie mark for comforting the scared animals. Rarity- Got her cutie mark for helping with the costumes in the school play Applejack- Got her cutie mark for helping with the work on the farm. Twilight Sparkle - I don't know. -
I'm sorry to rain on everybody's parades but I thought the episode was nothing special. The plot setup is okay. Twilight Sparkle and Rarity's characters were okay. Spike's character was okay. The recurring characters were okay. The new characters were okay. It's just...okay. I'm not saying it was a bad episode or anything, it's just that everything that is done here has been done before. We've already seen Spike try to hang out with his own kind before in Dragon Quest. The idea of Spike giving up his position of power to Ember was good, but we've already seen that type of setup in Canterlot Boutique. Ember is not a bad character in herself but we have seen her type of character before in The Lost Treasure of Griffinstone. I'm not saying there was no originality in the episode. It was good to see some more dragons besides the ones in Dragon Quest. The problem is, all the dragons (with the exception of Ember and Garble)are pretty one-note. Also, I'm starting to worry that the writers have dropped the idea from Season 5 of the map episodes (You know, the ones that had two of the Mane 6 called by the map to solve a problem in Equestria). Anyway, the episode was just okay for me. Nothing more, nothing less.

Are you my doppelganger? That describes me to a T. It's quite frightening. -
Even though CMC episodes are usually just tolerated by me, this episode was really good. It's good that Bulk Biceps didn't end up being the focus of this episode. I think that developing background characters should be reserved for the episodes used for fanservice (such as Slice of Life). It's good to feel like this will actually be a great season, despite the blandness of the episodes prior to this one.

It's a good thing that the Mane 6 are back (not that I hate Starlight or the other minor characters) but the quality of the story is still a bit lacking and the Mane 6 are still a bit bland (especially Pinkie Pie) as they were in The Crystalling. I'm growing to like this increased quanity of slice-of-life stories that was more empathized in Season Five, but I still like the adventure episodes better. I'm hoping to see more of the mixed episodes (those that are both slice-of-life and adventure, like Rarity Investigates).

How would ponies react to fandom nicknames?

I was shopping and my friend who happend to be there , saw me look at the MLP trading cards. And yelled at the top of his lungs "SHE LIKES MY LITTLE PONIES!". He kept yelling it everytime I passed/noticed anything related to "my little ponies". And everybody looked at me with smiles on their faces. I just laughed along but that doesn't stop the awkwardness.

What did you dream about last night?
Golden Triangle replied to Chivalry Knight's topic in General Discussion
I had just finished watching an episode of a crime show and I had a nightmare about I was kidnapped by this guy and weirdness ensued. It was pretty creepy. Then I was back to sleep and I wrote everything down. Then a planes about to arrive to a war and they are giving us books to entertain us and so I got one and all of it was on Clocks. Then I woke up.- 190 replies

1.I like villians who don't go all emotional at their defeats (looking at you Sunset Shimmer) 2.I also hate it when villians go all arrogant at the heroes like "oooh you can't kill me." instead of trying to get away from being attacked, just to get killed straight afterwards. The villian should actually just not give a frick about what the protagonist is doing and freaking attack them. 3.A backstory is also necessary, no " I'm evil cause I'm eeeeeeeviiil muauaua" you have to give the villians motivations for doing evil stuff. 4. Bad guys don't always have to look like monsters or be overpowered as heck. In fact I would be way more frightened of a normal person with a lot of power (like the villian Frollo)than a random devil man if I was those people in the movie. Starlight Glimmer is a pretty good example of a good villian, she doesn't give a frick about Twilight's friendship speech. And she doesn't even look evil, she's just a normal unicorn but she's still powerful compared to a regular unicorn. In my opinion anyway.

Like many people here I binge watch episodes on Netflix. Unfortunately I forgot my password to my Netflix account and so I had to use my father's. Then some of the family came over and we were gonna watch a movie. I got a new password but I forgot to sign out of dad's account so everyone saw in the recently watched playlist that my father had watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. They all stared looking at him weird but I intervened and let them know that I was the culprint.I never got any weird looks since I'm a female but my poor father was not very lucky.
