    Thunder by Jessie J reminds me of Rainbow Dash: And something a bit more obscure - Aliens 2 The Nightmare, an old eurobeat song by Radiorama sounds like a theme of Nightmare Moon (or the first two episodes) to me.

    From my experience, I'd say that the most usual brony-stereotype is that we are silly and immature manchildren. I break that stereotype on daily basis by being a very humorless and boring person.

    I'm actually OK with the fact that the big movie won't come until 2017. This way they definitely should have enough time to make it spectacularly animated and well written.

    When I first time noticed the show and this brony-thing, I became a bit curious of course and I definitely didn't dislike it. But for a long time I thought that the fanbase was based solely on the cuteness-factor and not on the quality of the show itself, so I didn't bother to actually watch an episode. That was until I "accidentally" saw one on TV

    I'd love some kind of "a day in my life" episode. Basically all his lines would be the usual "eyup" and "nope", but then he would act as a narrator for the episode so we'd hear his real thoughts.

    I think it'll take some time before My Little Pony and its fandom will get to the public eye in the same way Star Trek, Star Wars, superhero comics or something like Dr. Who have gotten. For example in its beginning the Star Trek fandom was quite small and the original series was cancelled due to low ratings, but nowadays it's almost like common knowledge. Ultimately it all depends on how Hasbro hadles the franchise. Will there be a completely new generation again, or will they aim for more continuity like they do with Transformers and keep building on the current universe? The latter would help to keep the current fanbase.

    I'd guess that there's some bigger thing going on and Starlight was/is just one part of it. And all those pancakes MUST have something to do with it....some kind of pancake conspiracy maybe

    Most comments I have read say it's just generally Californian, but I'm no expert on this field so can't say for sure.

    And I thought that no one would anywhere come up with a name like that But yeah, Diskette is the name of my OC, I haven't used it anywhere else..yet

    I was on 6th grade back then....it's quite hard to say how would I react, maybe not completely negative since I remember liking My Little Pony Tales when I was little. But it could well be that my elementary school self would still be a bit more like "THAT girly stuff?, Nnnope".
