So a lot of people seemed to think that Netflix wasn't going to remove the show anymore cause they stopped seeing the Removal warning on the episodes. I still saw it, but much less frequently. Other people thought it was just a glitch or mistake and they were definitely going to remove it all anyway.

Looks like Netflix compromised these ideas and just removed the last 4 seasons, so now we have seasons 1-4 available only. At least in US netflix.

In the US, I don't think season 9 was ever on Netflix to begin with.

The entirety of G4 will be removed by February, which is incredibly disappointing. What an unfortunate time to get back into the series ): I only just learned that today after intending to catch up with a bunch of episodes.

Does anyone know of any other places that stream G4? Hulu only has season 9. Amazon allows you to buy all the seasons for ~$20, which might be a last resort. 

You wonderful people have already helped me once finding an obscure bit of music that I never thought I'd hear ever again, so I'm once again asking for help.

Unfortunately, I have little to go off of here. I believe the track was called "Summer Sun Celebration (or festival)" or something like that. What made it stand out was that the lyrics were entirely in Spanish. 

I forgot the title for this video, all I remember is that you could type in "Summer Sun Celebration Spanish Celestia" or a mix of words like that and you'd see it quickly on YouTube. Last time I checked the video on YouTube, which was probably around 2 years ago, it had around ~20K - 30K views I think. I've come to the conclusion that the YouTube video, along with an unfortunately high amount of other MLP fan-related content, has been removed by the maker. I really wish I remember their name, I'm sure the track is floating around there somewhere.

For the YouTube video, the image throughout the whole thing was this, but with slightly different colors, a little more orange

Sorry I have nothing else to go on here. I am expecting this to go nowhere but it doesn't hurt to try, especially since you all amazed me before finding something arguably more obscure.

Same general idea, large city built on the side of a hill, held in place by some solid equestrian support beams.

I've been thinking about this for a while. in MLP, my favorite setting has always been Canterlot. This is a city that could technically be the a possible blend between a dreamlike fairytale and realistically doable with Earth's limitations. A city built not on top of a mountain, but built alongside one, on a very high elevation.

Would it be possible, ignoring resource constraints, to build a functioning, safe, and densely populated Canterlot-esque city? A large city that has a design I could describe as a mixture between Saint Petersburg & Ashgabat, harboring hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions of people. (this isn't just MLP anymore, we're thinking big, like NYC, London, Berlin, etc) built along the edge of a mountainside with a very high elevation, overlooking who knows what kind of scenery below.

Where would such a city in the world be built to match the setting of MLP the closest? A beautiful city in the mountains, overlooking villages miles below. Europe? North America? What specific country and where in it would be the most fitting place? Pick where on earth you'd think would work the best to match the show's setting! I also know that the city was based on Minas Tirith, but that's wasn't really built alongside a mountainside, so much as it was built on a flat edge of land located near a mountain, so not quite as unrealistic, imo.

You just always have this link on hand or did you provide the download yourself? It sounds better than ever with high quality headphones, better than I remember 5-6 years ago.

Sorry guys, those aren't it. It was about a 3 minute video and it had all of the pictures I posted above in it. I could've sworn it had around 10 thousand views or so when I last saw it but that was years ago. I really hope the creator didn't delete it. It wasn't animated, it was just a slideshow.

So I'm kinda struggling to find this one particular old (really old) fanmade track about Nightmare Moon. I could've sworn Psychgoth/LaRaikaa made this but I can't find the track anywhere on his channel.

I can't really describe what the music sounds like or anything. All I remember were a few things. The youtube video was kinda like a slideshow story, showing how Luna became Nightmare Moon, fought Princess Celestia, lost, and then turned back to normal and filled with regret. I remember the only vocals in the track were "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry". or something like that. It wasn't just one type of music like dubstep or techno. It started out with a melodramatic piano piece, then got a little more electronic and dramatic.

Since this thread had been brought back a couple of times, figured there'd be no harm in me using it myself.

I like to Lucid dream quite a bit, and while I've lost the majority of my interest in this show, Equestria is still a setting I enjoy visiting in my dreams. My last lucid dream involved me in a vast plaza. I first thought that I was in Canterlot, but based on the setting, I think I was more likely under the giant tower in the Crystal Empire. I was amazed at my surroundings. Walking all over the area, I saw buildings in the style of the Crystal Empire and I saw several different ponies walking by. Some were nice, cheerfully saying hello to me after I greeted them, but some were very rude. One was Trixie, wearing some pseudo-pony suit. She just "harumphed" at me and frowned while passing by me. 

Being fully aware and conscious in a dream isn't really that hard, but gaining control over dreams can be difficult. It requires confidence and a really strong ability to visualize.

Yes, I occasionally do. In my dream from last night, I dreamed that Twilight Sparkle was Harry Potter and that Celestia was Dumbledore. Luna was next to Celestia, but I don't know if she was supposed to be any particular character. It's been years since I had any interest in Harry Potter so I guess my mind is just randomly mixing and matching characters as it see's fit. This time, it just happened to be My Little Pony and Harry Potter characters.

Anyway, Twilight Sparkle was either supposed to deliver a speech to the two Alicorns or she was supposed to take a written test in front of them. Either way, she was looking for some papers and was eventually showing signs of anxiety to full out panic. The two Alicorns showed concern, but didn't offer to help.

There was more to the dream, but none of it was MLP related.

Sure, they can add in as many edgy/dark moments as they want. Problem is, it'll probably make me take the show less seriously.

The fanbase is remaining consistent in number alone.

The people who made the largest impact in the fanbase years ago are nearly all gone.

Without them, it gives off the illusion that the fanbase is shrinking. They were the ones that really made this show feel alive and they helped it stand out from just being a silly hipster trend that would immediately die out.

It's not shrinking in number, but what good is that?

But really, Simon described the situation the best. Even if the system was working here the best way that it could while still being in favor of the man in question here, the entire case is still stupid from a logical and moral perspective.

I doubt it. The movie was very mediocre. 

I don't own any gaming consoles anymore and I don't plan to get any, but the Wii U looks like a very fun console. I love Nintendo for making such fun games, even if they aren't making very economically-intelligent decisions. The Mario and Zelda games on the Wii U look very fun, and I love how Twilight Princess is being remade. Sonic Lost World looks like a nice throwback to the classic Sonic games I used to play as a kid. It's a shame the Wii U is doing poorly, and I predict that the NX will become the next Dreamcast. It won't have as negative effects on Nintendo as the Dreamcast did with Sega, but the situation will be similar, too little too late, and it will cost Nintendo quite a bit.

I don't play many modern video games anymore, but I thought the new Battlefront game looked great. I was considering buying a PS4 for it. I love how it only focused on the original trilogy, as I really did not like any of the prequels. I liked the side content we got as a result of the prequels, such as the clone wars cartoons (both of them), the great games based on them that came out for the original Xbox, interesting books, and some fantastic characters like General Grievous. It looks like a solid game that seems easy to get into. Unfortunately, it's expensive as hell. The total game costs over $100 with the Season Pass. I recently found out new details on the season pass thought. The expansion packs will include new Tatooine maps, the Deathstar and Bespin. I think that this is great, but not worth the $50. Maybe $30 would be more fitting instead. It sucks that Han's blaster, the DL-44, is overpowered. I think it should have been exclusive to Han Solo, but of course it won't be nerfed because it's the catalyst that got customers to pay the extra $10 to get the game with the weapon earlier. They won't hurt their cash cow now, will they?  :diamondtiara: I also disliked how the unlockable skins for the Empire were so limited. I thought the Rebels were pretty diverse, but C'mon developers, you have so many different types of Stormtroopers to work with.

The game itself certainly looks beautiful. I'd go out and say it's the most graphically impressive game ever made, unless you have a specific artsy-fartsy type of game in mind.

I really don't think that the game deserves all of the hate it gets with the exception of how overly expensive it is.

Let's just say that my 3.7 GPA in high school meant absolutely nothing outside of scholarships. It didn't mean I was smart or dumb, it didn't mean I was ready for the real world, and it didn't mean that I was ready for college, regardless of what some of my upper level classes said to me.

The only thing I considered useful in high school were my science classes, especially my human anatomy class. Not only was it interesting, it proved to be very useful and important later on.

Teachers are improving, that much is definitely obvious and I've noticed that throughout my time in grade school. I have to give them credit for what they do, trying to accommodate the subject they teach for a large variety of students. I couldn't see how you could do it. It always seemed like some people were just naturally able to do certain classes better than others, as unfortunate of a reality as that is. The teachers try hard (at least, most of them do) and it seem to be unpredictable as to whether or not they'll succeed or fail to try to make every student in their class excel in the material. I don't think that the teachers are the problem, far from it, it's the subjects themselves that some people just don't know how to properly adjust to.

I'm sure everyone is capable of learning any subject sufficiently if they are not severely mentally impaired, but they don't understand how to shift their method of thinking over from one subject to another. I could see the intelligence in some of my fellow classmates back in high school who were struggling in math and I could tell it was possible for them to do well on math quizzes and tests, but it's unfortunate that they couldn't realize that themselves. I wish we would stop saying that teachers are always the problem for poor students when that's simply not true.

I need to get around to learning Arabic and Sanskrit. Maybe Syriac/Aramaic, but only spoken.

I considered learning Chinese, but I know that's to messy for me.

I read a couple of star wars books and played some of the games when I was younger. Lightsabers were sometimes referred to as laser swords, sometimes as an insult, sometimes because of a lack of knowledge.
