No I don't think it is, neither are traditional books, film photography, or movie making. -
I bought some pony merch the other day where she was drawn in gray and I just figured maybe the merch wasn't Hasbro approved or something so the renderings had to be slightly different. Some of their lines were more more pointy than normal and such as well. But as I was watching today, I paid attention and yup, her eyes are really the only thing pure white about her. -
So,nobody hold this against me but up until today I thought Rarity was white. But is she actually gray??

I do want to follow up to my earlier post to mention how music affects me when it's attached to visuals. For example, music over performance completely enraptures me sometimes. Whether it be a movie or a performance in a sport or whatever, when there's something visual choreographed or attached to music in a dramatic way....thats the feeling of love and appreciation that I get for music at this stage in my life. I'm always in awe and wonder at those people who can do amazing things or that unbelievable things have happened to. The perfect music over perfect editing, I just love that. It magnifies the impact for me of both the storytelling and the music. It creates new favorite songs for me all the time.

Why thanks! Haha. It used feel cool that I was a 70s kid (barely, born in 79) but as I've gotten older, it's like dang I'm old.

Older pegasister here. Probably older than all y'all as I was born PRE-80s. Yes those of us pre 80s are not dead yet although I have no clue on earth where anyone my age exists.

Eh i have really come off of music lately. Like the past three years I'd say. Mostly because the city I live in has absolutely the worst radio in the entire US. Omg it sucks soooo bad. I don't even turn it on anymore. All they play is Taylor Swift and Rihanna. We do have a classical station that I do listen to and i keep a Spanish station programmed in my radio so I can practice hearing Spanish. Other than that I prefer road noise to the crap that comes out of the radio. My ipod is crammed full of such a wide variety of music but i still get burnt out on the same old stuff.

Went to a lab for some bloodwork and the lady at the reception desk was a royal beeotch. People were walking out.

That's very true and so that's what people are doing. It's not a matter of finding what you need, it's a matter of settling for what is on the shelf. Maybe my city sucks (it's the biggest city in my state) but the items in our stores are terrible horrible and awful. I just cannot find anything, and its not like I need rare things! I'm talking an adapter of some kind or a popular book or a particular piece of furniture or a rug that fits my taste or whatever, it's just never there. I needed a huge plastic gift sack for a present too big to wrap...nothing at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Hallmark, Lowe's, Toys r us, Hobby lobby or Michaels. Had to order online. Granted I found it after the fact at Dollar Tree but dang it I'd tried 8 stores already!

I think the significance and reasoning behind ponys' cutie marks has evolved over the seasons, especially when the writers decided to make the CMCs become a thing. Also, I don't think they worry about little girls thinking about it too hard.

Ya this is the problem today. Personally I hate shopping online. I hate buying something I can't pick up and feel and look at. I hate spending my money and having to wait several days if not weeks to get it. Then I can't easily return it when it invariably doesn't match the online photo. It sucks. But having said that, I can't find shit in stores anymore. Best buy hasn't had the cord or adapter I needed in at least 5 years. If I need something, somehow all of a sudden that item doesn't exist in a store for 700 miles. Or its sold completely out. So I feel forced to buy online most of the time. Dang it I can find absolutely anything I need. But I dont like it.

No one knows I watch the show except my husband. Normally I wouldn't give a rats ass who knew what I watch but I guess I feel weird about people knowing because of where I am in life. Everybody expects that I should be having a kid, but I refuse, so instead I fill up my time watching a kid show. I guess I don't want ppl saying I'm immature for my age or saying 'she watches MLP...wow at her age she needs to get serious, be a little more mature, she should have a kid that watches it.' (Don't ask, I'm old.)

I use my real name for the first play through. Then subsequent games, I'll change up the spelling or go with the canon name for the character.
