I can't choose between Twilight's Library and Sugarcube Corner. There's just book books and more books in Twilight's Library for me to explore and it be peaceful most of the time. But think of the food and parties at Sugarcube Corner with Pinkie Pie! Cake, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, chocolate, muffins, milkshakes, crepes, chocolate, waffles, pastry... something tells me I have a sugar problem...

Princess Celestia Princess Luna Princess Twilight Princess Cadence I have an enormous respect for Celestia. Her wisdom and hardships she faced alone when Luna was banished. She's demonstrate regret and also a fun side too. Luna likewise has had to go through enormous difficulties. Walking in Celestia shadow and become Nightmare Moon has left her with deep scars and her own regrets. As for Twilight; we saw her develop, grow and become who she is now. Cadence is the only one I don't feel any investment in. The others I've seen them struggle, grow and become the pony they are now.

I would freak out excited, then actually go to a mirror and see if they're real and if I can use them. Then I would freak out panic as I try and figure out how I got it before calling friends and going on the internet to look for answer. I would then freak out awesome. I may wear a hat initially to hide it on the first day but it's something different something special so I would defiantly want to keep them.

Do you want us to sing the whole song or just what you've posted in the instructions?

general What WILL you be doing ten minutes IN THE FUTURE?!
Medlight replied to Ziggy + Angel + Rain's topic in General Discussion
Doing some holiday shopping (yes holidays - woo hoo!)...however what is more likely to happen is for me to become sidetracked at either the ice cream shop for some ice cream, the waffle shop for some waffles, the cake shop for some cookies or the Japanese shop for some Chicken Katsu Curry! Hmm...there's a pattern there... -
Likewise. Puella Magi Madoka Magica had a lot of heart wrenching moments where I just stopped and cried. Other than that - I'm struggling to think of any more.

mega thread What would your cutie mark be? And why?
Medlight replied to Owlowiscious's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Mine would properly be a Rod of Asclepius with a white / silver shield and white / silver wings behind it and a blue/silver/gold/yellow sun behind that and a slight black shadow behind the sun. The Rod of Asclepius is a sign of healing and medicine. The wings would be a representation of transport, moving, flying. Together it would symbolise my calling as a "paramedic"; delivering healing and medicine out in the field, wherever the patient is and on the go. The shield would be a sign of protection. The sun would be to represent "light" which has many interpretations and is a sign of my personality. It could mean bringing light to situations, representing "the light" / "good" (and all the moral paladin like traits) or a 'neverending source of light in dark situations" etc. The slight shadow behind the sun could be a contrast to that "light", the conflict the two arises or the darker history / hidden side etc. -
general What's the most stupid thing you've ever done?
Medlight replied to Flying Vantas's topic in General Discussion
I do a lot of stupid things. Almost every day. Trips, falls, walking into stuff, being gullible. Only one I remember fondly. First scout camp. First ever time camping. I was aged about 12. We were on a large scout camp in the forest and we needed to fill up an empty water barrel. I happily and stupidly volunteered to fill the barrel at a standpipe by myself. It was only one I had fill the thing up that I realise I had no idea how to get back to my scout group. My little torch wasn't very good so I couldn't see very well. I'm in the middle of a dark forest with long shadows that I've never been in before. It was the first time ever I've been in a wood by myself. My little torch wasn't very good so I couldn't see very well. Eep?! I had to wait there in the dark forest with my little torch by the standpipe until someone else came along. In the end I was found by scout from another scout group who was able to bring me back to my camp. -
Manual (except when I'm driving to emergencies on blue lights in which cause automatic so I can concentrate on everything else). Manual is the standard for the UK and if your a learner driver - no matter what country your in - it's good to learn manual. The reason being if you learn how to drive a manual car you can do either. In the UK especially, automatic drivers licences are restricted to automatic cars. Whilst manual drivers licences can drive either cars and it's a requirement for bigger vehicles like vans and lorries. I've know a few people who have wasted money on automatic drivers licence and have had to redo their whole car licence to get their van / lorry / bus licences.

Yes I had a huge crush on my best friend. Took a long to for me to work out I was bi. Eventually I told him and he was very nice about it but told me he just wasn't into other guys. But we've still really good friends - we've been through a lot together and we still treat each other like brothers. He's got a girlfriend now and is happy. For me is was also the first time I came out about being bi - because he took it well it eventually convinced me to tell my other friends too.

Stupid things you thought/did as a little kid.
Medlight replied to MachineGunLola's topic in General Discussion
1. Believing a monster lived under the stairs and would come out in the dark. Therefore - if I was the last one up - I would flick the switch at the bottom of the stairs and ran as hard as I could to the top or it would come out and grab me. 2. I'm very clumsy and kept tripping and falling over things. Dad said "look at the ground when you walk and you'll stop falling". It worked, but I just ended up walking into things like walls, lampposts and other people instead. Dad had a facepalm moment. 3. Not me but a friend of mine. We were about 12 and there were three of us going out ridding on a bikes in the countryside - except one of my friends was going sooo slow. So me and my other friend tried to figure out why he was so slow. Turns out he had never ridden a bike before with gears - and therefore was ridding at the lowest gear possible everywhere. We pointed this out to him to which he replies "But that just makes it harder to pedal..." -
do you pick a favourite pony based on your own personality
Medlight replied to gyxile's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I would have to say yes and no in my case. Normally there's one or two characters I really like in a show - and generally yes they have a similar personality to me mainly because I connect with them a lot more. With MLP though I can relate to almost all of the characters so picking a favorite pony for me is uber hard.I can be crazy and childish as Pinkie (my love of sweets cookies cake chocolate sugar is as big as Pinkie's) , I'm as shy and timid like Fluttershy , I study hard and panic about everything like Twilight and I'm steadfast loyal, hardworking and trustworthy like Applejack . And I'm as clumsy as Derpy at times . I have their good parts and bad parts and I feel their all different parts of me. If I had to pick just one favourite, in the end it would have to be Pinkie Pie. Not because I relate to her the most but because it's always entertaining watching Pinkie Pie. -
Believe it or not I'm a paramedic - which means having to talk to people, comfort people, and making relationships with patients so they can trust me enough to tell me what's going on. So you would think I would be the last people to have social anxiety. But outside of my green uniform, outside of speaking with patients and their families; I am very shy and still get very anxious meeting new people. I worry about what they think of me, whether I can trust them, what to say and do. I hide things a lot. There was a time I was really sociophobic - where I was scared of everyone and would avoid leaving my room whenever I could let alone the house. My childhood wasn't rosy and things reached their worse when I was 19. I had a lot of trust, confidence, self esteem and emotional problems as a result. I had to relearn everything about life. Three things helped me: one was the internet. Thank god for the internet. I could hide behind my screen: people couldn't judge you on what you looked - only by your behavior. A few times I found online communities that I could relax more in. Second was seeing a counsellor about it. It is so difficult at the start telling a stranger everything your worried about - but little by little it helps and if you get a good one they can guide you though it step by step. Thirdly, it's been my childhood dream to become a paramedic - and my job forces me to come in contact with other people. I'm still get anxious when meeting people (even friends), but I'm better then a was. I'm still learning to cope with it in little "baby steps".

Blue. I've always liked blue though I dunno why. Apart from my work clothes almost everything I have is blue if there is a choice.

I really liked this episode. Not many shows reach 100 episodes. The things I liked about the episode worked because it's a one off special for the magic 100. As many have pointed out if every episode was like this then it would loose it's appeal. It's a chance for a bit of fun for the writers as well - something out of the ordinary. There's a lot of negativity about the shear amount of references to fan work / fan service - which I can understand. But I look at it from another view, the writers are acknowledging and praising the amazing community has put into MLP. How often does fan work get translated directly into the show and in such a quantity. The brony community is one of the few that have influenced the show they watch directly. Is credit from the writers to those who make fan work of Derpy, or pair up Lyra with Sweetie Drops, or have Vinyl live with Octavia. Is it cannon? Why not? There's is completely out of the realm of possibility or world breaking - I mean we have magic (which pretty solves almost any problems), science (just because magic exist doesn't mean that science and mathematics don't exist as has appeared in prev episodes) and mystical talking creatures. Does it matter? No not really. I mean if people want to still write about Lyra and Sweetie Drops together - does Sweetie Drops supposedly being a secret agent stop that? In my opinion no not really. People can and will still make and create their own stories: and in my opinion creativity is good. Will it my most favorite episode of season 5? Unlikely. Do I still enjoy it? Yes. Is it humorous? At times but humor is always a personal thing. Would I watch it again? Yes.

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie How did you find MLP Forums?: Google. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I went to a patient one day who had fallen out of his wheelchair but was uninjured. So we helped him up and started talking to him and his wife as we did checks and paperwork. They had a teenage son who as it turned out we had a lot of similarities - from learning disabilities to our interests. The parents were really supportive and were talked about the events he had gone to, the cosplays he had made, and the fun they had. As an outsider I was sceptical but it still perked my interest.Fast forward a few months I finally decided to satisfy my own curiosity by giving MLP a go. After all if you don't try it how would you know. So I started watching from the start of Season 1, and kept watching, and watching without thinking about it. It was about "Winter Wrap Up" episode that I suddenly realized that I really liked MLP. I normally only like or relate to one or two characters from a show - but here I liked all the mane 6 and plenty of the other characters too. The story was surprising and the songs just rounded it off. I then stumbled onto Youtube and Equestria Daily and found analysts, artists, story writers and musicians: I had no idea the fandom was this big and diverse. Yello! I'm 23 and I live London, UK, although I'm initially from Newcastle upon Tyne and my parents are from Hong Kong. Despite my job I'm actually a very shy person in real life. I like love cookies, cake and chocolate! Seriously you could bribe me to do almost anything with sugar. As for thing I like which aren't edible; I am bit of a gamer. Mainly of the RPG or MMO kind although I do various others from SC2 to LoL to BF. I used to a lot of story writing and roleplaying - although I haven't done that for a while now. I like anything cute - especially cats. My ginger and white tabby cat especially. It was nice to meet you all.
