  1. Tee hee, mine is my own but more raspy and hissing. Weird. Sometimes I wish it could sound closer to Solid Snake's voice, heh heh.
  2. Well, I'm pretty serious most of the time but pretty emotional and expressive too. I get along easily with people. I do admit I have quite a temper and can be a raging asshole sometimes, but I truly care about my friends. Sometimes I talk a lot, others I stay silent. I'm also a passionate gamer and video game fan, but sadly I don't own many cause I currently don't have enough money to buy more games. I like to draw and design stuff, but I do have a problem with procrastination. And by my username, you can easily tell I'm a proud dinosaur-loving nerd.
  3. Well, it is kind of a nod to Aslan's Country of Narnian lore.
  4. Well, yeah, you're right. Come to think about it, I was rather unfair comparing Tiara to Pacifica, she's younger and more relatable after all.
  5. Decided to re-write my thoughts, cause, in all honestly, it was rather strong on the unfair side. I re-watched the episode and it's indeed quite an improvement over Magical Mistery Cure. I still think the CMC mark designs could have been a bit better, but are decent nonetheless and that shield-thing is admittedly cool. Yeah, Diamond Tiara's redemption feels rushed, but she's still a filly after all, who has had to deal with such an awful mom until she was able to stand up to her. I am confident Tiara's change of heart will be quite a potential for many upcoming storylines. And yeah, I'm gonna admit it, seeing our little fillies achieving their longtime goal was full of feels.
  6. I certainly hope so. They totally deserve to be released in such a format.
  7. Peridot sure is adorable... I love this show. Certain moments feel like they're straight out of an anime and make me nostalgic, they give me wonderful flashbacks of those days anime came into my life. Plus, the characters are expressive, have a wide range of emotions and deep to them and are relatable.
  8. Hmmm, both are pretty powerful. Full power Tirek could totally crush Sombra and devour his magic, but then again, Somby's shown in the comics to be a shadowy abomination which takes on a pony-like form. His shadow form could greatly help him in combat. Plus, we haven't seen the full extent of his physical strength. It'd be a pretty impressive battle, like something out of Asura's Wrath. Anyway, there could be a way to top Tirek if the staff decided to add a Lovecraftian being as the show's ultimate big bad, with a voice somewhat reminiscent of Ultron... or maybe, make Tirek return and give him a more powerful stage, like they did with Frieza in Fukkatsu no F, heh.
  9. Fallout, Shadow of The Colossus, StarFox, The Souls series and Dragon's Dogma to name a few
  10. Poor Big Mac... He just wants to be more special. Anyway, what I liked the most about this episode was the sweet interaction between Mac and AB, as well as the lengths he's willing to go to show her he can be a hero on his own... Even if it means cross dressing in a truly hilarious manner, heh heh heh... Anyway, the episode had a heartwarming ending, and added more depth for Big Mac's character.
  11. Twilight: "Gee, it sure is boring around here" Celestia: "Twi, Mah girl, this peace is what all true princesses strive for!" Twilight: "I just wonder what Starlight's up to!" Jokes aside, Maybe Twilight isn't still fully used to her status as an alicorn. Back before her transformation, sure, she still went on adventures, fought monsters and villains with her friends by her side and studied, read and learned about friendship each day, but did not have to deal with politics or diplomacy. Now that she's a princess, she still spends time with her companions and has adventures but I guess it can be kinda tedious for her to work with certain royal responsibilities. Not to mention that she's the princess of friendship and truly wants to carry on her role and mission, yet the map didn't allow her to come to Griffonstone and Manehattan, which surely is a frustrating experience. However, she doesn't need the map at all to solve those issues, as she successfully made amends with Moondancer. Maybe, this will be a plot point for the finale, but who knows.
  12. Of course no. She may be a secondary character, but her role has an important impact upon the setting and is the big good of the cartoon. Plus, most aspects regarding her are currently unexplored, which makes up for interesting storylines and possible concept.
  13. Totally looking forward to "What About Discord?" From the looks of the synopsis, it seems like Twi still doesn't fully trust Discord and isn't too fond of her other friends growing closer to him. Perhaps she hasn't forgotten the Tirek incident, and didn't approve of the Smooze fiasco, even if Celestia herself found the Gala amusing and lively.
  14. Well, it pretty much focuses on Luna's demonic alter ego, and brings happiness and fun to the ponies, but I do admit the way most ponies acted toward Luna in Luna Eclipsed was kinda cruel, all of them promptly mistaking her for Nightmare Moon. Pinkie did not help matters.
  15. So, what are your most favorite boss introductory sequences from gaming, and why? Most boss intros can be quite epic and awesome, and certainly help set the mood for the impending battle. Which ones do you find the most exciting, terrifying or just plain amazing?
  16. So, what has been the longest it's taken you to beat a video game? Did it take you days, weeks or even moths to finish it? What game was it in particular?
  17. Well, yeah, depraved villains with insanely evil thoughts are metaphorical monsters after all. So, yeah, they can be welcome to this thread too. Albeit the main focus is on weird creatures and mythic beings.

    gaming Console Vs. PC

Both have their ups and downs. I remember I owned the Peter Jackson's King Kong video game on both Xbox and PC. Both were pretty much the same thing, but I always preferred to play the Xbox version because it had a smoother gameplay than its PC counterpart and the controlling was more easy. But both are pretty fun nonetheless, and it still stands as one of the best movie-to-game adaptations ever made. While both have ups and cons, it also depends on what kind of game you're playing, as SimStat pointed up.
  19. Dragon Ball Z, Neon Genesis Evangelion, One Piece, Digimon, Attack on Titan, Monster Rancher and the earlier Pokemon seasons are among my most favorite.
  20. Well, yeah, I do read them from time to time. I always check the TV Tropes fanfic recs of a certain work to find the most worthy ones. Currently, I'm still into pony fanfics, but I may venture out to read other ones. Heh, I am a Star Wars fanboy, yet I haven't read much fanfiction of the franchise. Oh, the irony...
  21. Classical music pieces, specially Erik Satie's Gymnopedies are rather calming for me.
  22. So, what are some of your favorite monsters and creatures from the world of video games? What do you like about them the most? Both sentient and non-sentient beasts count. Here are some of mine: *Ridley, Kraid and most creatures Samus meets *Of the Monster Hunter bestiaries, my particular favorites include Lagiacrus, Deviljho, Khezu, Teostra and Lunastra, Qurupeco, Jaggi and Great Jaggi and Tigrex to name a few. *Pretty much all of the monsters of Dragon's Dogma, specially Grigori the Dragon *Reapers. What's not to love about a gargantuan, biomechanical squid? *Behemoth, Marlboro and Cactuar, all from the Final Fantasy franchise *Moon Presence, Amygdala, Ebrietas, Darkbeast Paarl, of Bloodborne fame.
  23. Yup, Dimentio and Shadow Queen totally take the cake. They're just the most dark and depraved antagonists in the Mario series. But one truly disturbing moment is the fact that in the very first few minutes of the first game, Bowser is successful at killing Mario. God knows what would've happened had not the Star Spirits found him. But in all honesty, I kinda find the darkest game to be Luigi's Mansion. I know the Paper Mario series are more mature and dark in tone, but still, Luigi's Mansion and its sequel are pretty much rife with Nightmare fuel. Specially because of the infamous "hanging Luigi" silhouette and the theory of him being dead all along It's just a glitch, but chilling nonetheless...
  24. Pretty much any arcade games, cause I play them on emulators, heh. NES and SNES games as well, but those take a tad longer because i die quite a lot.
  25. Still a rookie... Better keep completing quests
