I'd really like at least somepony to read my practices of writing and give me insightful and constructive criticism to help me become a better RPer/writer. I'll try to keep it pony related, but sometimes, I'll be inspired to do something completely different. It really just depends of the day and how well I sleep/feel. I'll PM you a link to google document or if I get enough requests, (If I ever do) I'll post the link on the thread.

I actually just recolored a pic I found of google with Krita. But thanks! I really hope I can get a solid feel for what this character is all about. I'm planning on having her represent my antisocialness, not the mean kind of way, but rather the disliking small talk kind. I'm not quite sure if that's exactly it, but I'll figure it out.

Age: 28 Gender: Female Species: Unicorn Appearance: Cynthia has a yellow coat with a vivid auburn mane. She also has vibrant green eyes. Cutie Mark: A book and a mug. Simple as that. Although, Cynthia doesn't mind. She's always had a fancy for books, and all the information she could learn from them. Personality: Though a very helpful and courteous, she is, at times, very cynical towards small talk and useless conversation. She doesn't put herself out all that much, not out of shyness, but rather out of boredom. She believes that books have a much better story to them than real life itself; therefore, she is always wrapping herself with information and the sweet stories of her novels. These views, don't stop her from helping anypony and everypony. Her motto is, "What's the usefulness of knowledge when you don't use it?" Backstory: Growing up in Canterlot, her father died when she was very young but Cynthia's mother always told her about how strong and brave he was for not only fighting cancer, but also how strong he was in his prime. Cynthia's mother, however, didn't compare to his strength in any way, shape, or form, leaving Cynthia to be strong for herself. Though in her last few years, her mother taught her some very valuable spells and tricks, she wasn't the pony that made Cynthia into the mare she is today Other: Cynthia also, peculiarly was born with an addiction to caffeine. So, every morning, to thwart the presence of headaches or overall dreariness, she sits down with a good book and a mug of coffee. (That she grows herself with a little bit of magic) The mug was given to her by her mother, whom had gotten it from Cynthia's father before he passed. Accepting the sudden warmth, she opened one of her saddlebags and pulled out her mug, examining it, reminiscing over how much the mug meant to her. With a light thump and a cling of the door's bell, the rather large wooden door came to a close, and a slight echo could be heard. The sound, playing her heartstrings, trotted happily over to the coffee machine that she had made from some spare parts, and checked the pot. Still warm. Cynthia thought as she poured herself some. The sound of a booming voice compared to the silence of the room surprised Cynthia a tad, but she had known somepony must've put her coffee on for her. She turned to be greeted by an older orange pegasus. "Hey there, Cynthia! Nice to see you. Enjoying your coffee?" The orange pegasus asked. She nodded. Cynthia trotted towards her desk in the middle of the atrium full of shelves and books, wowing her to no avail. "I still don't see why you need to drink that stuff. I've heard it turns your hooves black!" The orange pony said, slight sarcasm in his bassy, soothing voice. "You know that old mare's tale isn't true, Harold. Besides, you know of my addiction. I told you about that!" Cynthia stammered, a little distressed. Harold raised one hoof apologetically. "I was just teasin', no need to get you saddlebags in a twist." Cynthia shot him a half-smile. He knew just how to mess with her. Suddenly, there was another clang of bells, along with a cool morning breeze wafting it's way through the warm library. Who is there this early in the morning? A customer? Cynthia thought, glancing at the clock. It read, 6:30. We had only just opened!

To explain why it's so low, it's because it's just a little too high for me to do in my straight chest voice. It's like that thing on a high shelf that you can't quite reach. So, I'm not sure why exactly anypony would want to hear me sing, but I think I'm pretty good and it's really the only skill that I have that I know people would like. (Hopefully...) Anyway, I'm open to any request, but I don't know too many songs, but if you give me a song name, at least give me couple days at most to get it learned, and then I can send you an mp3 file for everypony to enjoy! I'm still not quite sure if ponies on the site would actually consider this "content", but I'm willing to give it a shot.
