Very little. Usually the cases I have something fizzy are 1)When I'm at a friend's house and I know that's what they have, and 2)If I'm out for a meal or a party and I don't want alcohol

Evening ponies, you didn't think I would forget it's blog day did you? I actually had to put quite a lot of thought into a tune for Pinkie Pie...that was until I remembered this little number. In recognition of Pinkie Pie's ability to cheer ponies up and of her one-pony band skills, here's Fucik's march, Entry of the Gladiators. Enjoy, and as always, please, if you have a good tune to associate with today's chosen pony, please say below, I'm really interested to see what other people think!

I know that PArc Minecraft is only in early days and I'm not seriously suggesting this as a mode for implementation any time soon, but I just wanted to run the idea past people here for feedback to the idea Currently, PArc Minecraft has a creative server, an SMP server and an Equestria (i.e. roleplay) server. Discounting the creative server, this leaves us with: Equestria server - Great for roleplay, but static in terms of player construction. SMP server - Some amazing building and good roleplay, but it's not governed by any overall unifying factors. What I have in mind is a server which exists in the middle ground between these two. It would possibly have the following attributes: A unifying lore, not necessarily a direct port of Equestria (we have a server for that already) but that wouldn't stop it being MLP:FiM related. SMP aspects: enemies, hunger, no flying (unless race specific) etc. Players can buy plots/build property in the 'countryside' or purchase housing in player-built (but heavily designed) cities that serve as the hubs of the server: Everyone is entitled to start off with a basic 'shack' in a city. Built housing has to conform to area aesthetics (e.g. a 'Norse' themed village would not have a sandstone tower in it.) Mining/resource gathering highly regulated. Profession-based plugins. A respawning community mine/lumber area. Non-instance, required RP: All RP has lasting consequences. (Optional) If it was an MLP-related lore, all characters would be OCs for fairness. That's the basics of it. I don't know of any examples of over servers which still operate something like this at present, though these ideas are largely based off a server called 'Mel-Lenxia' which shut down years ago but was one of the best RP experiences I ever had. So what do you guys think? I think it would be a lot of work, maybe too much, but practicalities aside, what do you think of the core idea?

Hmmm. No.1 on my hitlist would probably be fennel. I don't like aniseed-y things, so why anyone would put fennel in anything is beyond me Close contenders would be mushy (marrowfat) peas and celery, both for their taste. Fruits...I like pretty much all fruits, though my least favourite are bananas because they make me gag, especially when they're really ripe. Plums too, just because I find they're a bit like Russian roulette when I choose them...'dud' plums are absolutely vile.

I just think 'Mobley' has a funny ring to it. I first used as a surname for one of my more comical Guild Wars 2 characters 'Moston Mobley' and never looked back

I'm with Kyoshi on this, I saw the .MOV vids on Youtue a good year or so before I ever touched even actual clips from the show proper. In retrospect of watching MLP:FiM, it makes me realise that actually the .MOV makers really did their homework! Hmm, other things...I heard a lot of Minecraft parodies before I heard the originals, and a fair few parodies of Poker Face before I actually heard the original EDIT: I just watched the Grand Galloping Collab because of you Kyoshi! I think I'm scarred for life :okiedokielokie:

I'm glad you thought it fits! I love classical music too, keeps me sane...and sometimes unhinges me a little too! I try to get new posts up every other day, so I hope to get some more good tunes coming your say soon

Hello ponies! I thought, just for fun as a little series in my blog I would see if I could match a little 'classical theme' to each of the mane six. I thought I'd start with Applejack who is rapidly becoming my favourite pony (sorry Twilight!) My opening choice is the Hoedown from Aaron Copland's Rodeo. Good afternoon ponies! So last night I hinted to my other half that I liked watching MLP. It was a spur of the moment decision. It didn't go well, but nor was it the end of the world! As an ode to impulsive decision-making in Rarity-style drama-queeniness, today's instalment is Taken from Puccini's Turandot. To criminally sum up the scene, the Prince is going to announce himself as a suitor for Turandot (who he saw for the first time a couple of minutes ago) while everyone else is trying to stop him, as if he fails to answer the riddles posed by Turandot, he will be executed! I suggest listening to this on full volume. I'm back now from my music rounds so I can post a little more often again. Take care ponies. Glad to be back with you
