  1. Conservative typically refers to right-winged political ideology. It also isn't black and white in what makes you conservative. If someone says they are conservative, that doesn't mean they share ALL the same views as other conservatives. It simply means they generally tend to lean towards the conservative side on certain issues, but it doesn't mean they ALWAYS do. For example, my grandparents are very conservative, but they are actually supportive of medical marijuana (something that I've noticed "conservatives" are assumed to be against).

Your interest in something like furries does not mean you can't have a conservative view on other things.

  2. I love the Sims. I've played every game in the main series, and a few of the offshoot games like Sims Bustin' Out. Sims 3 was my favorite, but I have to say I really like the Sims 4.

I can't say I'm excited for the next DLC. Even though I really like the Sims 4, I have not loved any of the DLC's and the new one doesn't look really too much better than the last ones.

  3. I've been making these stylized drawings of famous musicians lately. I draw them on paper first, and then trace over the photo on my computer and add color. I wanted to share them here, but I would also like some feedback. To the other artists here, an tips that would be helpful?

  4. That's how I started. My younger sister (who is about 10 years younger than me) really loves the show. Before I moved away from home, I would watch it with her when I was bored. It slowly grew on me to the point that I would now call myself a brony.

  5. My OC's are all older than me. Mainly because I feel that the backstory I gave them would require them to be slightly older. They are all inspired by aspects of my own personality, but they are more just fictional characters I created rather than ponysonas meant to represent me, and therefor I don't try to make them the same age as me. I set their age based on their backstory I wrote for them. The only one that is kind of a ponysona is Treble (my avatar), and he is just a few years older than me. Most of them are not that older (just a few years older than me), but one of them is middle-aged.

  6. Those are very good names! there is no problem in letting your thoughts simmer. You can use one of those names, and if you ever think of something better, you can change it. My OC had gone through several major changes from his name to his profession since I created him.

The only thing left is the cutie mark, which is kind of the culmination of everything else. People often make the cutie mark directly related to the talent, but you can also base it off her personality or name. So, if you name her Vanilla Swirl, you can have a vanilla flower (which when I think about, would work very well with her color scheme), or you can work a swirl shape into the design. Maybe you combine the talent with the name and do something like a pencil drawing a swirl (if you decide to make drawing her talent. The only thing I should tell you as a warning, is that you should not make it too complicated. When it comes to cutie marks, simplicity works well.

  7. Alright, that's good. Drawing or magic. So what I would do next is to decide on a name. You can name her anything, but the common thing is to name an OC based off of her talent, or her personality.

Do you want it to be a two-word name, or a one-word name? Brainstorm adjectives related to her personality and words related to her talent.
