Glad I'm not the only one who didn't worship that episode.

My only regret is the hypocritical line that goes against everything we've witnessed. The writers would have done better owning up to an unfair truth rather than trying to avoid it Doesn't make the show less enjoyable. As I said, I never had troubles with the mane sox being the heroes all the time...I mean that's how any show work.

I will never understand why people hated this episode. I personally found it brilliant to teach an important lesson: Know your friends well enough to know WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DOESN'T. Rainbowdash has been shown countless times to act irrationally and doesn't do well with lectures or heeding warnings. Sure, at times she will listen when there is a serious need for it and she'll know that her way isn't the best, but in this case, fame was getting in her head and feeding her ego. Whenever an individual is caught up in the moment, they WILL GET OUT OF CHARACTER. At least with most people especially with a personality similar to Rarity's and RD's. This isn't a BAD thing though....it's merely a common observation people need to understand. Were they reckless for bashing down RD's ego? Yes. Was it a bit over the top? Yes. Did it work? YES. Why people saw it as cruel, I'll never understand. Obviously, any RD fan SHOULD know that RD wouldn't take a talk seriously if they were telling her she was becoming full of herself and need to take her ego down a few notches and not take her act of heroism as some fame-seeking stunt. This proves they knew her and knew how to Pierce that skin of hers. Telling someone they are wrong is hardly ever easy and it's even harder to ACCEPT your faults as well. Their method worked....it's called tough love. It wasn't even cruel....they simply one-uped her which is something RD has no problem doing to others apparently whenever there is some sort of competition or challenge. You know what would have been cruel and even more reckless? If they sabotaged an attempt from her causing ponies to get hurt then blame RD for failing. That would have taught her a lesson but it would have been a dick move and unforgivable. True....sometimes indirect confrontation isn't always the best way to go in certain situations. It seems like a trend for the teacher to always leave the student in the dark till the very last second which can either end good or bad. Which van be frustrating for both the fans and student. But in this case, it wasn't as terrible as some make it out to be. Mare Do-Well was a good episode in my opinion.... great way to highlight how much they know a friend and what needed to be done even if it wasn't "easiest" or "rational" way to go.

If it goes by a butterfly effect, would we even be sure if Cadence ever even became a princess. Not once do we see her...it could.just be coincidence but no one knows. As for hatching Spike's egg there ate two possibilities: SOMEONE ELSE hatching it or it simply never hatches. That doesn't mean it dooms future battles for instance with Sombra. Another kind soul could have stopped and reformed discord. There are others capable of representing the elements..... it's obviously proven you don't have to perfect the element to represent it since the mane six doesn't. Regardless, there is or I personally believe there SHOULD be another way.even if it isn't easier than the first choice which is the mane 6. I would have preferred there be some sort of hints within the alternate future with the good side slowly rising above the hell they are in, but it doesn't which is a bit depressing itself. At least it is for me xD

Guys try not to be so negative on the subeject. This discussion is not about how you YOU NEED a video to change or dictate your mind on a certain opinion. I'm merely asking IF this influence it any and if it did.....why. Regardless, media of ALL kinds will ALWAYS have some sort of influence on you no matter what. This is not some topic if you worship media to the point where it makes decisions for you. Simply......did your opinions change the slightest after watching this. And that's it. Not if you need it to make up your mind. Besides the video was not about who you should like or dislike....it was merely expressing theire perspective on the character and who is best pony to them

True, the key is what's important to defend yourself. But without friendship, the key would be nonexistent would it not? The true important thing is the one thing that gives you the key to any answer or solution.....or it is in my perspective.

I had mentioned that the tree of harmony aided them didn't I? But it WAS the magic of friendship.....I am pretty sure it would not have opened had it not been from the keys which were earned by each struggle which are associated with the elements of friendship Therefore it was ultimately i's own power that unlocked the box. Diamond Tiara hands down. She easily makes everyone dislike her but love her at the same time. She deserved a better damn reformation than that episode, Crusaders of the Lost Mark, because it wasn't good and neither was her whole reason for being a c*nt for so long. I absolutely loved her because she played a great antagonist.......doing the job well without being some mary sue. a close second would be a tie between Gilda and "Flim and Flam"

Why the hell is Lily Peet making recent videos that I am beginning to enjoy more? First the one with COTLM being terrible, then the Starlight Glimmer analysis, and Celestia video now THIS: WHO IS BEST PONY? After watching the video I had mixed feelings because I agreed with mostly everything that was said except for the parts on Pinkie Pie. Before watching the video these were my ranks for them: 1. Rarity 2. Pinkie Pie 3. Fluttershy 4. Twilight 5. Applejack 6. Rainbowdash. After the video, not much of my opinion really changed: 1. Rarity 2. Pinkie Pie 3. Twilight 4. Fluttershy 5. Applejack 6. Rainbowdash Here is the video: It is long, but you'll love every minute of it like her other video "Who is Best Villain" . After watching this, does it change how you see the characters? DO you agree with her reasons for choosing who is best pony?

One could say that being it was her rainboom that sealed their future friendship. But if you put it like that, then one could also say it was Fluttershy..... since it was because of her, RD challenged them to the race. Or heck....we could give the real Equestrian lifeline title to the two colts who teased Fluttershy leading to RD racing in her honor.

To me, yes the mane six are special and without the, a.good.side winning should indeed be difficult and perhaps nearly impossible. But within each alternate future, it seems utterly hopeless therefore rendering the very religion they preach to others become bullshit. And that's what gets me. The EoH aren't even relevant if you really think about it. Let us look back to the Season 4 finale: It was not the elements of harmony that saved the day, it was literally the magic of friendship that was their ultimate victory despite the Tree of Harmony seemingly giving aid to them becoming "buy me" power ponies. Is it not their own words that magic of friendship is the most powerful magic? Above villainy, chaos, even stronger than the combined magic of all ponies and 4 alicorns? Or does that magic only applies to the mane 6 in such a way no other pony is incapable of even having a relationship like theirs to a point that the magic of friendship is awakened. The mane six friendship being the most important and easily powerful is one thing....but making it nonexistent when they are in a universe where they aren't friends is a slap in many faces. Why deny the possible more powerful bonds or stronger representations of the elements before their time or even after their time?

I personally don't desire a thing where the main protagonist AREN'T the heroes because it's something I've learned to accept not only within this show but within show business in GENERAL. it's quite common people will despise the set heroes to....basically fulfil their role within their own show or movie and save the day? My only thing is how they basically slammed us confirmation that the magic of friendship, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, every good person with potential to represent their own element or the official elements, every good soul in Equestrian......useless and hopeless without the mane 6. Up until this point they stress the importance o friendship and how if you can put your mind to it....it can lead to great rewards right? It's understandable that the mane 6 saves the day always though....and how their friendship is more important because they represent the elements and are the main cast. But it was hypocritical to show us all that and then have the audacity to show us worlds without them being a "mane 6" and.how hopeless it would be.

Thats almost as if you are implying a child is incapable of being manipulative or smart enough to think ahead. ESPECIALLY if it's something a child wants. *raises hand* I'm guilty for being a little slick when I was a kid. If you know a person well enough, even a child can predict their next moves. Who knows it's the reason Starlight stalked Twilight before she made her move.

Thats for you guys to decide. My ponysona is nothing but a white unicorn with a spunky attitude and great heart. But she does have that graceful aura about herself. Here are some examples Her design is really simple though. Same for hee color scheme. What I admire is her distinctive peach-colored eyes that pops from the blends of blues and purples. Sometimes she wears her hair down (lazy/carefree days) and sometimes she'll wear it in a sunset shimmer style. I.would assume her personality is what could make her attractive being she isn't a bland "stuck up" character as she might seem to be. More like a feisty headstrong lady with the need to succeed and help people. While she share my positive qualities, I decided to not add my really dark ones in there. The worst she can be is super stressed to a near breaking point, or insecure about her abilities but not extremely insecure. I find her pretty when it comes to looks....despite her simple design. I was hoping people will find her attractive as I created her in a way that I wanted to be attractive irl xD

I was thinking along the lines of being mentally unstable but that sounds fair as well. Not to mention she, like any adolescent, created her own escape to live her fantasy that is free of reality or the thing that hurts her the most of which is accepting that cutie marks aren't the blame. And when that escape was taken away, she got pissed enough to nearly ruin the future even after she saw the risks of what it could bring.
