I'd say that the best to start with would be Return of Harmony, because it has a good conflict as well as a lot of good moments that showcase the character's personalities (as well as their opposites). It also requires very little knowledge going in. -

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie How did you find MLP Forums?: Google. Because Google is the solution to all of life's problems. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I figured there has to be a reason that the show had such a huge fan base, so I checked it out and fell in love with it. Outside of MLP, I enjoy various other Movies and TV Shows, such as Star Wars and Doctor Who. I'm also a gamer, and enjoy games such as Team Fortress 2. I hope to be a big part of this community and look forward to meeting you all.
