I'll say! There are brilliant episodes before, but they're solely fun or well-developed. This season I saw many deep episodes that ripped my heart to cry out (almost). They are something purely top-notch, and when a show can produce fine connections to the viewers in episodes such as CMC's level-up, Amending Fences, Brotherhooves or Magic Sheep, it's definitely a good sign that the show is in its prime.
This emotional approach is something fresh to us, but they ended up really well. They raised the bar on how to educate viewer, and it's a good spirit to maintain.

That is an awfully long domain name. Won't cost much:P
But still, good to see they start preparing for the big event this early.

She was in here cottage all day long finding a word rhymes with "Toksvig".
Seriously though, she will come back when she's really needed and fits into the episode. Be patient.

Vale quattuor / Farewell four
Ad aeternam / on to eternity
Di meliora / the fates be with you
Vale quattuor / farewell four
I'll face it: this show will end eventually. And there could be many possible endings:
1) Ends in next two or three years, strong. Everybody cries, learns some lessons, wins some Emmy and go home happily, wishing there's more. Why there isn't more? Where is the next generation?
2) Run as long as possible, somehow maintaining freshness. This is seldom possible, unless the creation team is talented enough and continue to appeal viewer's interests. MLP: FiM then becomes the longest-running cartoon in the history and influences billions of people.
3) Show being cancelled some day next year and had a terribly rushed season to wrap things up. Nobody is happy, bronies starts protests outside Hasbro HQ yelling "Larson", turns into violence and ignites the next Civil War.
4) Show continued long as a soulless puppet. I can bring up many examples in Chinese cartoons, they continue to produce, children are still watching, but no one literally cares about the future of the show because they're so terrible. No.
5) Aliens invade and we all dies.
#2 is certainly the scenario I'm looking for, but not really realistic. Things must change to evolve itself, and Hasbro knows it (if they're not idiots).
And if they are not idiots, they should realise how the future generations should be like to appeal different demographics happy. Money is their goal and we have told them how to earn even more.
My hope? A spinoff, a grand but reasonable ending, a better (or same standard) G5. This fandom, well, depends on the characteristics of each and every individuals, it could be disbanded or continue to follow the franchise. However, I don't think Hasbro would drop this cash machine in near future - let's hope the sales are still strong.
It is the right time to start speculating how the show might end up with, and time will tell how this show ends up. All we have to do then is to say farewell to the end of a era and move on. Everything will be just fine.

"The song is coming to an end, but the story never ends."

This one surely qualify as one of the best episode , music and unspoiled bombshell of the series.
However, if this episode is a two-parter with a bit of more developments and explanations, it will going to be the legendary finale of all cartoon ever existed. I mean, surely the episode now is good (better than MMC); it has room to get EVEN more polish.

If this really happens, I will imagine Rainbow Dash in both sides (pony/human) yelling "Who the hell are you?", both Rarity fainting, both Pinkie Pie screaming, both Applejack speechless and both Twilight acting normal. (I cannot think of anything about Fluttershy)
It would be real fun to see them face to face - that would cause some misunderstandings and funny sketches. But apart from that, I am rather concerned about the proper developments of the characters and storyline if they met. Clash of two worlds is fun, but bad development might drag the whole series/movie. DHX should proceed on with this idea carefully.

I do not celebrate Halloween, so I would just sit here drinking tea and watching others' silly costumes.
If I have to wear one, I'll take the Tenth Doctor.

Dear teachers (especially Maths teachers),
I'm writing to report that I have forgotten everything you taught me. May I request a refund of my tuition fee?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Ricky

I was very optimistic when Trevor was announced to be the successor of TDS. His sketches during Jon's reign were pure gold (silver to say the least). His first week did remind me of Jon's style (which was nothing new), but the African-Trump thing surely stood out. If he keep his own style, people will like him. I can't vote here but I think time will tell, but I'm sure Trevor will do well.

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Twilight Sparkle
How did you find MLP Forums?: The mighty *insert certain search engine* of course!Mobile site usually don't require minutes of loading time here in Beijing (reason: reason), and I'm certain that this is one of the most heart-warming board I've ever seen. I'm going to love here.
How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: After the BLOODY (sorry, swearing) Internet destroyed my 300-word long answer three times, I'm going to start this again short.5-y/o brother watched MLP:FiM (thank Celestia) with his girl classmate in August 2014 -> concerned if he watching a 'girl show' is bad for him (see how silly I was) -> found out it was a great show -> underground researches and catchups (in English; yes we have simp-Chinese dubs) -> discovered the whole fandom-thing -> consider myself as a genuine fan of this show.Firstly, happy 5th anniversary everyone/pony!
To describe myself in the simpliest way possible:
Brony (duh), train/bus/plane/tech enthusiast, FT student in Beijing, university computer science prospective student, utilising English as a Second Language, Illustrator/Photoshop user, ITV Canterlot (no this subsidiary does not exist) correspondent, long-term whovian, professional idiot.
Seeking new friends
, grammar helpsand great discussions. It is going to be a fun ride here!Still TL;DR: Hi.

Which country do you live in ?
in General Discussion
I guess I'm a real minority in this forum!
I'm currently living in Beijing (aka the capital of China, PR; aka where terrible things happen), born in further north (really cold and rural), and preparing to spend my university in the UK next year. This is a strange (and sometimes irritating) nation, but I'm glad to be raised in Northeastern China. Home sweet home always.
Never been to the south (ie Shanghai, Taiwan or HK), never understood Cantonese, never get used to the the bloodily alien cuisine, would have problem recognising banners in Chinatowns around the world.
