      Well, to be fair, they ARE being put up against the Stars, and seeing as how the Stars are top of the western conference, and the Wild barely even got in the playoffs, I don't think they'll last very long in the playoff bracket.

      The Avalanche didn't make it in. Nashville eliminated them , allowing piss-headed Minnesota to grab the last spot in the West. 2nd year in a row the Avs didn't make the playoffs.

      I know they're called the Anaheim Ducks now, but I'm just used to calling them the Mighty Ducks because of the 90's cartoon

      The show was based on a movie (not really, but same name). In fact, the TEAM itself was named after the movie, as the team was owned and founded by Disney, and it was a Disney movie. After all, what else is in Anaheim? They'll always be the Mighty Ducks to me too.
