  1. @@J. Brony, I know you weren't asking me, but as far as I can tell both systems seem to be similar (though I have only read the rules and while ago so I might be wrong). EDIT: NVM I took too long posting
  2. Guitar lessons. Also, maybe some fedora so I can finally look like a badass proper neckbeard douchebag. With swag.
  3. Yes. Why? Because I want to bring you down. Other then that I don't see anything wierd.
  4. Following conversation would follow: "WTH are you wearing?!" "I don't know! I didn't even buy this!" "But... It has ponies on it!" "Yeah, ponies are gonna be a big thing soon. You should get on board with it. You... I... We'll like it." "... 'Kay. Fair nuff." "..." "..." "One question." "Shoot." "Why are we talking in english?" "I've got no idea."
  5. Go to another room. Sleep there. If pony is still around find someone. Ask them if they see the pony. If they don't, call psychiatrist. If they do see the pony, go up to the pony together and ask "What the **** are you doing in my house?!". ??? PROFIT!
  6. Okay, one two questions. Can I take my dog with me? If yes, will she turn into a dragon (following EG rules)? First pony to talk to: Twilight, so I can have some better insight into the world (who better to turn to than living library herself) First thing to eat: Well... Seeing as I would turn into a technicolored equine, I'd probably want something to drink so cider I guess. Will I stay?: Again, can I take my dog with me? If I can, then yeah, sure. If not, then probably no. Probably.
  7. I think it really depends on what you're looking for. For example: Griffonstone fallen from glory. At least I assume it did before the start of the show, based on the facts that the history books stopped at some king (whose name I forgot) and it seemed to have been going downhill for a few generations. Also latest episode gives us a hint that Smokey Mountains in Smokey Mountains has been going on for a few generations. There were some linguistic changes, as shown in Luna Eclipsed. So maybe there was no major conflict but there were changes. And if I was to go into full on speculation, I would say there probably has been some sort of technological advancement.
  8. Could have been worse. I was already planning on becoming vegetarian anyway. It would be nice to be able to go back though. Also, if I had to go to some pony who would help me with a transition it would be Fluttershy. Actually that's probably a terrible idea. Angel would distract me. What can I say? I love me some rabbit stew.
  9. About the elements. The way I see it elements served as a way for spell to be cast on Mane 6. If I remember correctly none of them were present at the time of casting. However, their elements were and we saw a change in them (again, I am speaking from memory but I'm 90% sure). Basing on that, we can assume the spell would work on all creatures present in immediate vicinity at the time of casting (excluding caster and non Cutie-Marked beings). So I think that the only explanation is that elements were used as connectors to their respective owners. Subject. Now to the subject at hand. Did she really solve the spell? Imo, the answer is maybe. If you think about it, we see the "finished" spell cast but nothing happened (other than, you know, Twilight suddenly getting a pair of wings).
  10. I'll jump in as well. And the word of the day is... afraid of bees. Actually it is more like "afraid of bees, wasps and hornets." But bees will do. Reasons? The stinger.
  11. I've been looking around interwebz for some good tabletops with ponies. Unfortunately I failed to find any that would appeal to me. So if you have any suggestion I would love to hear it. Otherwise I might end up creating one but I'm laaazy.
  12. You just made me want to listen to some of his stuff. That sounds like comedy gold material!
  13. @, It was a suprised-but-in-a-good-way kind of "woah". Or you could say well-I-didn't-expect-to-hear-that woah.
  14. That's... woah. As for the topic. Personally I don't think elements are sentient. We simply did not see any indications of it. At best I would think they are really powerful magical foci that allow users to perform incredible magical tasks. Also I have a theory (and headcanon) that they (along with the tree) are the same kind of artefact as alicorn amulet, just done better so that changes in personality are more subtle/non-existent.
  15. I think The L-Train and PrinceWhateverer are my favourites.
  16. There's a contradiction in that statement! It wasn't trojan horse! That was trojan cake!
  17. If I may, I would like to propose another theory. All these "emergencies" were caused by Starlight. Not as a checkpoints but as a test. If I remember correctly she's supposed to have time travel spell. If so, it would be only fair for her to test it on different subjects in preparation for her final move.
  18. Do we count comics? Because if so I've read that (in comics) the creation of changeling's involved some pony corpses, some weird flower and probably a whole lot of magic. So changelings would be undead sooo... Boom. Necromancy. Kind of. Would we see it in the show? No. The show was and probably always will be aimed at younger audiences.
  19. I'm not sexually attracted to ponies (though, have you seen Twilight's sexy behind), I'm straight, my boyfriend says so I don't have mental issues. at least that's what my ex- lamp tells me, I don't need to post how I break stereotypes because I feel insecure... Oh. Darn.
  20. The only one(s) I heard about is Luna. It's a ".exe" type of game(s). In my opinion it's not very good but it is something.
  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6GILnGHW4I - this video. Also discovering that the last (well maybe second-last) person I would have suspected of watching it is a fan.
  22. I just watched it and I must say I find it to be on low-average part of my scale. Most of the jokes were not that funny and often predictable. The resons for conflict were weak and resolution was sort of unrealistic. And as much as I liked that Twilight finally got to do something (I felt so bad for her when she was so bored, even though she kind of did it to herself), pairing her with Fulttershy was odd for me. They made an effective duo in the end but still... not the most compatable sets of skills. I liked that there were a lot of references to Greek history. Than again, the show already has a lot of them. As a side note, how in the world does one turn theories about friendship into equations?! And how did they breath inside that cake?!
  23. I must say that's an interesting pick. I personally didn't see this as a that great of an episode but I see your point. Still, as you said to really appreciate the episode one must be more acquainted with show and characters. Is it really? Personally I find the episodes kind of lackluster with some major plotholes. I agree that Discord used to be very fun character but I think that introducing someone through those episode might be cause for some major confusion to a newcomer. While I don't think it's a bad suggestion, I'd say that if shown to someone like that it has 50/50 success/failure ratio. Idk, maybe I'm just over-analysing. Anyway, thanks for suggetions.
