New concept art

Well, it really comes down to how much you're paying for the things you're collecting. I've gotten a large chunk of my pony collection from thrift stores and flea markets, for reasonably low prices. I really just wait for things to end up on sale, get a coupon, or find them used somewhere, and I save a lot of money doing that. Plus, it's always possible to clean up the dirty ones. But it does get expensive if you're searcher the rare ones all the time. I myself just stick to getting anything I don't have yet.

Will the movie underperform?
EverEverOn replied to CastletonSnob's topic in My Little Pony: The Movie (2017)
Considering this franchise has been recognizable since the 80's, I'm sure it won't fail, but it's not going to be the Disney movie of the year or something. The show itself has a large fanbase consistent both children and adults. Plus, it would be somewhat nostalgic for anyone who grew up playing with older ponies. So no, it probably won't fail. -

Has an episode of MLP ever helped you in real life?
EverEverOn replied to Altastrofae's topic in Sugarcube Corner
None of the lessons in the show are new to me, but they do indeed encourage me to live by them a little more. Thanks to Flutter Brutter, I've realized how important it is to be independent, and to work out your problems on your own, for example. I already knew I should live my life that way, but seeing possible consequences on MLP made me more aware of it. -
What's Your Stance On Anti-Bronies?
EverEverOn replied to OmegaBeamOfficial's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Normally, I don't mind if someone doesn't like the same things as me. Everyone has their own opinions and interests. However, when someone says they hate Bronies and they should all for (Which has happened to me in real life), I feel like they're going too far and overreacting. Everyone has that one abnormal thing they're into, and making fun of someone for it is never a good idea. -

What Generation Do You Think Is Worst?
EverEverOn replied to Lunar Glow's topic in Classic Generations
Depends on whether you're talking about the toys or the show/movies. For the toys, I'd say G4 for sure. Not only are they small compared to past generations, the quality and variation just went downhill. In G1-G3, the ponies were larger and had more characters to collect. They had hair that wasn't terrible coming out of the packaging, and the backcards had beautiful art and descriptions of the ponies. Not to mention they had many types of ponies. Regular, So-Soft, Twinkle Eye, you name it. But nowadays, we're just getting the same ponies over and over again. Yes, we occasionally see a few others pop up here and there, but it's mostly about the Mane 6. We do get several variations of each character, but it's always the same ponies. The toys are smaller, the hair looks awful as soon as it comes out of the packaging, and often we're just getting the same thing over and over again, just with different colors. Not to mention all of the ponies are in the same pose. As a collector, I don't approve much of the G4 toys. I don't hate them, I just wish they had more effort put into them. As for the media side of the franchise, Generation 4 is the best. It has good character development for the most part, and each character stands out in a different way. In the past generations, just about every character was the same. Sure, they had different interests, but they all acted the same over certain situations. The animation in G4 is also just so much better. It's sleeker, more colorful, and has more detail than past generations. -
Which element of harmony were you taught the most as a child?

When I was little, maybe about five or six, I bought a G1 pony plushie at a flea market. Sadly, when I got her, her hair had mostly been cut off. I'm happy to have her in my collection, but I'd be thrilled if I could restore her to her former glory. So I was wondering, is there a way to add new hair into a plushie? I've tried looking up tutorials, and haven't found a single thing close to what I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
